What?
I did watch the whole thing. It was weird, senseless and unresolved. There were so many episodes that went no where. I felt that some of the episodes were cut short. The main couple was weird. I could not understand their relationship at times... well, most of the time neither could the writers, actors or director. The side couple, cute as they are, were out of the blue sleeping together and then together. It was weird.
Many of the episodes did not make sense. There was so much time wasted on side characters, (they even introduced a new character in the last 3 minutes!) and their stories, for the most part, played no part in telling the story nor did they have any reconciliation, ending nor reason. It was senseless.
The whole thing, even the side couple who were in a resolved "happy ending", was left unfinished. There has to be more episodes! Come on, they introduced a new character. Who was he? Why?
There has to be more.

Check it out
I am a huge SyFy fan. I thought this show was so good! The acting and the story and the humor really made this show special. I fell in love with the main characters! I usually only review BL or LBGTQ shows, but I so enjoyed this! Though the show deals with some really heavy topics such as death, bullying, acceptance, grief (so much grief) and anger. The show really takes the viewer through all the stages of grief. I love how the Counters work together as a group. I kept putting off watching this because of my usual tastes in shows.Check it out!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoyable
I have to admit that I was looking forward to this show. I did overall enjoyed it. I thought the whole premise of two boys at such a young age would be expected to get married in a society that does not have marriage equality. The main couple was cute, and it was clear, even with all the weirdness, that they loved each other and were destined to be together. The secondary couple was cute, too, Lin and Kondao.
Kirin's crew was so good. I really enjoyed their interactions with each other and Hia Lian. Sin and Nuea were so cute, especially with their kiss! You go, Nuea!
I do have some issues with the show. I feel that the odd brainwashing of the two main characters was never addressed by anyone in the show. I did enjoy the push for marriage equality at the end, but I wish it had been a bigger issue through out the series, not just mentioned at the club and at the end.
It was never clear exactly what Lin did to Kondao. It was unclear as to why Lin felt the need to take care of him, even after Kondao came back to Thailand. I wish there had been a discussion with them about the past and perhaps looking forward to the future together.
I felt the acting overall was really good. I really appreciate Zee, Nu, Max and Nat. The overall chemistry between the characters was good too.
I do still have a few questions.

What was this?
I love BL shows, and I wish we had them when I was growing up! I am addicted to watching them now, but this was not good! Oye! The acting was so bad; the story was boring, and the overall it was ridiculous! I have enjoyed some of Gameplay's work before, and I really think Nammon needs his own BL, but this show I guess was for the money? I have no idea! They tried to be funny, but fell flat! Some of the story lines were ok, but there was more growth with other characters. I did not even understand when the main couple actually decided they loved each other. It was odd! The weirdo wedding at the end, and the sudden change of the grandfather left me wondering if they had ran out of money and needed to wrap up production. I usually like to leave good review, but this one fell so short!!!!!!!!!Cet avis était-il utile?

OMG!
I loved this show so much. I waited all week for it. I loved the plot and most of the characters. I understood what was happening, for the most part, I did not understand the one who worked in Taiwan with him and then returned to Thailand to kill him (?). That never made sense. What I hated was the ending! After all of that, Mr. Lue is wanted by the police! Why was Mr Lue crying when he gave Ole One Eye the listening device? Where did Sai go when the shooting started while blindfolded? This was so disappointing! I was enjoying it so much! OYE!!!!!!!!! They better have a second season to wrap it up.Cet avis était-il utile?

What?
I was very excited about this drama. I thought the drama started out in a very exciting way, but did not turn out that way. I have watched so many of these dramas, and I am disappointed in this. I found the timing so slow! Mon, not the greatest talker, spent hours formulating a verbal response. There were times he seemed happy and participating in his surroundings, but most of the time he seemed like he did not understand what people were asking him. I wanted to like Mon, and I think I did a little at the end, but overall, he was not memorable. I think that was the character's issue in the show. No one, not even So, really liked nor remembered him, except his brother. So was not the best character either. He was either non verbal or just stupid. I did not understand his movements. He went out of his way to be worse than Mon.
The other couples were ok. Mon's brother and the senior, weird, but ok. Saint and the cutie pie who was after him were much more exciting than any other couple in this.
I am disappointed in the ending. All that non verbal staring, crying, him-hawing left me with questions. I understand that not every love works out, but the main character ended up by himself on a beach. What was that?

Where is Zurbania?
I have to applaud Oxin and the cast and crew of "Rainbow Prince" for their effort and conception. It is not usual to get a gay themed musical, also the singing was not bad, and most of the time pleasant. The actors were cute, and the settings were appropriate. The songs had a Disney ish sound to them along with typical topics. I appreciate the attempt, and I looked forward ever week to watch this. I am not disappointed. There are some issues, I feel, with the acting, but neither main has much experience, but I also feel the script might have been part of the problem. It felt as though some scenes were improvised. The production was not consistent through out the series. One more thing, the coronation at the end had bigger crowns on the drag queen and Mikey's mother were bigger than anyone in the royal family! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!My trip after all the COVID mess is done, I guess I will visit Zurbania!

Wow
I enjoyed the first series, and I enjoyed this one too. I am not a big fan of Mark's, but I loved how we go to see more of his feelings, past and family. It helped explain a lot about he and his actions. I was happy for him. Everyone gives Vee a hard time, and he deserves it! But, he truly redeems himself in many ways in this series. With Vee, we also get more of his life and background. The other characters such as Bar and Gun being recast was disappointing, but we got a small continuation of their story, and that was good, since their story was my favorite in En of Love. I really appreciated the further involvement of Nuea, who was kind of exciting in the first series. The other cast members that returned did not disappoint. It was fun to see them!
The acting was amazing. Both Yin and War, who were good in the first series, really did a great job! Applauds to the production value! Wow, it was good, and heads above the first series, but the first did have to deal with COVID.
Good story, good acting, good production. This was good, real good!

Beautifully Shot
I did enjoy the overall aspects of this drama. I was impressed with the production level of this show. I think that many Korean dramas are getting better and better in terms of cinematography and acting. I was not that impressed with how the story unraveled. I wish there had been a bit more comedy. and maybe a bit more romance, too. Overall, the acting, costumes and scenery was pretty good. I have enjoyed the three dramas the three main leads were in before this show. I am glad I finally watched it.Cet avis était-il utile?
