Best romance show ive ever seen
Ill start this review by pointing out the only flaws with this show in my opinion1. the editing and sound design was a little bad/cheesy to me
2. i didnt really care for the cinematography
however, the acting, and character writing was absolutely insane
1. both the main actors did a fantastic job, you could feel the emotions they were portraying without any dialogue even
2. the characters are very well written and compliment eachother well, and the relationship was super healthy
3. it felt so realistic to the real feeling of falling in love with someone
overall this show left me feeling alot of emotions and love for the main characters, its quite possibly my favorite depiction of romance ive ever seen, absolutely fantastic job by the crew, writers and actors.

The chemistry between pat and pran is one that you won't find anywhere!!!!! I've never ever been a fan of Friends to lovers but for Bad buddy I had to make an exception 😂🤚🏽.
The acting, the music and the story was executed perfectly👏🏽! I had nothing to complain abt as I was watching the series. I did not want to binge watch it quickly coz I was sad that I'll finish watching it too soon🤣 I can never get tired of rewatching Bad buddy the series. If you're not a fan of BL series and you wanna start watching one I definitely recommend Bad Buddy 😩🤚🏽 I promise that you will not regret it🤭

One of the best Thai dramas.
I really enjoyed pretty much everything about this drama. I love the enemies to lovers trope. It’s my favorite to watch and to read about so I was super pumped to watch this because it is that enemies to lovers in a BL. Both leads are excellent characters and their chemistry is unmatched. I think they really did a great job of making them complex individuals as well like we really got to understand both of them and their families, their backgrounds, and how they feel about all of the family drama that exists. I also loved the secondary couple. It’s rare that we get a GL as a secondary couple and a boy and a BL but I enjoyed seeing this and I can’t wait to see those actresses in their next role that they play together, so super excited.I thought that the show was funny when it needed to be serious when it need to be I cried on certain episodes the kiss that When they finally confess their feelings was just absolutely beautiful it was a wonderful moment. I also really enjoyed that. They weren’t ashamed to be in love with each other when their friends found out about the relationship they didn’t lie about it they didn’t try to hide it they were just like hey it is what it is and their biggest concern was truly their families.
Also, I love their friend groups even though both groups or warn against each other I thought that they complemented the leads really well and I thought that they were funny and I would be happy to join really either of the friend groups if I had the opportunity to so great job on the ensemble, casting of all of those characters and the writing for a really depicting that type of friendship.
Of course the whole family drama was super immature. I mean the reasons why the parents didn’t like each other was really dumb and I think at some point they needed to just get over it and it’s been long enough like 20 years since the event happened so you think that they were just I don’t know move on with their lives they didn’t, and ended up making their sons lives miserable, but if we didn’t have that we wouldn’t have this wonderful drama.
Lastly, I thought the music in the drama was really really great and it’s definitely that sound tractors on rotation. It has been since I first watched this drama over a year ago so big props for you know the music team that I found those signs because I thought they did a really good job of depicting the emotions that the characters were going through.

Breaking stereotypes, more than just a cute plot with cringey lines
A non-cringe, healthy, and progressive storyline that breaks Thai BL stereotypes. PatPran portrayed their emotions so well and I could always feel the emotions of the scene even without conversations. It's cute, serious, and funny all in one, and it filled my heart to the brim after watching their story. I love how the scenes just make sense from layering one after another and how some quotes can be used for multiple scenarios in the series. This show really showed how you can love someone in many different ways without having to verbalise in plain words, and also fully expressed how love is love, regardless of gender. no unnecessary drama, just full of great content, bad buddy is my series of the year. Extra shoutout to the OSTs, super cute and really expressed the POVs of Pran alone, Pat alone, and then PatPran POV together.0.5 deducted cause of minor impractical ways the casts communicated (e.g. in the middle of stairs) and rare actors' lack of immersion making some scenes seem less realistic.
I personally loved it because this show broke stereotypes, and showed us that Thai BLs could be so much more than goosebumps-filled plots and scripted gazes. It was not only a show, but also an educational journey of acceptance and living in the modern era, not forcing society to accept us, but not forcing ourselves to conform to society.

One of the best bl out there
From where do i start bad buddy is such an amazing series.Everything is so great about this series be it the storyline, the top-notch acting, the osts, the cast everything was just "Perfect". I literally fell in love with the cast so much that you can say i am officially Obsessed with them and their acting. The story is so simple yet so amazing. Nothing over the top a simple enemy to lover plot something we all have watched in our life at least once yet so impactful. I love how they broke so many stereotypes calling gay couple hubby wife or the bizzare dialogue " i don't like men i only like you" or be it the whole top bottom thing. 10/10 aggressively competitive and comedic yet sweet way only Bad Buddy knows best how to
Basic synopsis: Two kids who grew up with families that hate each other are forbidden to be friends end up realizing they can’t be just friends.....[[**this review contains spoilers**]]
This is a series that really surprised me seeing as I had zero expectations. Nevertheless, I never expected to love this series as much as I did. As a new BL fan, I was on a mission to watch the classics. I’ve heard everywhere how much people loved this series, and after finally finishing - I can’t help but agree. As a fan of My School President (of which is under the same network-GMMTV), Bad Buddy gave me the same indescribable wholesome and “pulling at the heartstrings” feeling I loved from MSP but with so much more angst and yearning.
What I love in a haphazard order ( apologies, this is my first public review):
-Fast-paced, pacing is immaculate - every scene felt necessary
-No problem or plot point felt stupid/unnecessary
-None if few scenes were cringy
-As an avid “scene forwarder” (I’m looking at the travesty that is “Step by Step” (2023)), I instead found myself repeating scenes because they’re just that GOOD! I found myself absolutely CHEESIN’ over how cute they are / how sweet the moment is. We get them early on and consistently in the series, keeping each episode engaging
-Even for sadder scenes, each were achingly beautiful / well-written dialogue / both Ohm and Nanon’s eyes and facial expressions were so much LOUDER than any of the yelling / screaming they do (see: iconic ending of ep 4 / their first sleepover)
-I’m here for the slowburn and the absolutely well-executed ANGST. I also love the tropes where one is sulking and the other is doing everything in their power to have the other talk to them which not only increases the tension but helps you understand the character even better. These are tropes are something Bad Buddy have made me realize that I love across all media platforms whether they be books or series/movies
-The characters are so well done. I’ve seen many other reviewers point this out:
--Pat as an architecture major is an over-thinker and catastrophizer, a bit of a neat freak
--Pran is an engineering major, a “go with the flow” kind of guy, a bit impulsive, and kind of adorably annoying
--So the way they both reacted at the viral ending of EP 5 was so true to their character and inevitably foreshadows the future episodes
-The unexpected first kiss scene very early on in the series was a cinematic masterpiece, I can't even describe how much I loved it
-Every time the actor was emotional, I find myself aching and laughing along with them. I don’t even realize it - it just hits me straight in the feels without trying
-Overall, I think there is a genuine love and chemistry there that other series find difficult to capture AND successfully execute. Bad Buddy is able to do so flawlessly.
-I know this is a low bar - but I never felt for a moment that any of these actors were acting. Every scene immersed and surprised me from beginning to end
-I have NEVER EVER laughed my ass of at an ENDING of a series before. It encapsulated the dynamic of their relationship and this series as a whole - the aggressively competitive and comedic yet sweet way only Bad Buddy knows best how to

their acting is great,in several times when I rewatched this series, I'm still touched and cried , because the story is so great
This series teaches that even though we hate each other, in the end it's actually that hatred that over time makes us afraid of losing him and finally love
I really like the OST sung by NANON KORAPAT ,the OST is very attached to my mind,
I always heard the OST at least once per a day
until the OST being my favorite songs

Eu fui assistir Bad Buddy por recomendação mas cheguei a meio do 1º episódio e não gostei, e o motivo era fácil: Estava com expectativas de algo nível KinnPorsche porque foi o 1º Bl que assisti entre etc. e etc.Mas esta semana estava sem ideia do que assistir e lembrei-me que este bl tinha vários atores que gostava e resolvi dar a oportunidade a ele. Não é que eu sai demasiado apaixonada por ele. QUE ATUAÇÃO DE OHMNANON!!! DEUSSSSS!!! Assim atuação de milhões, cinematografia de milhões mas eu só esperava que eles explicassem mais o final, passado entre os pais deles e os que os fez odiarem-se. Mas eu recomendo MUITOOOOOOOOO. Quando tiverem sem ideias apostem em coisas que nunca iam ver e saiam como eu :)

Bad buddy is one of the few universe bl series that has kept me hooked up form the first episode to the last one. It is not exactly like the novel but interesting in its own way! In the novel there where more nc parts but as always gmmtv tries to make series more child friendly. Well after "only friends" we can say that gmmtv used to do that. If some other company had the chance to remake this i am sure it will be better but until that i love bad buddy and will re-watch it any chance i get......(Sorry for my bad English grammar)

Ela é a série que todas as outras tentam e deveriam ser.
Viagem no tempo ainda não existe, por isso, o que me resta é sonhar em ser as pessoas que ainda não assistiram BadBuddy ainda.A serie é bem escrita, dirigida, produzida e atuada.
O Nanon entrega um Pran que parece uma cebola, cheio de camadas, uma personalidade ENORME e faz com que a gente não consiga tirar os olhos dele durante suas cenas.
O Ohm nem se fala… ele está em casa interpretando o Pat. É notável que ele está se divertindo em fazer esse personagem, mas com responsabilidade, pois tem MOMENTOS BRILHANTES na serie e a cena mais importante da temporada. Aqui falo, principalmente em toda sua performance do EP5, incrível.
Temos alguns outros personagens que cumprem bem o seu papel e são conduzidos por atores carismáticos, o Drake e o Jimmy, além do GL com as fofas Love e a Panly.

Just a perfect BL
This show has everything I expect from a BL: chemistry between the main leads and a plot that is not too absurd. ;)The plot is actually quite believable - a family feud is a thing that happens in real world. Thankfully, we are spared the annoying tropes and cliches that plague BLs - some of them are even called out directly as such. The supporting characters are often silly and/or irritating, but this is also believable - we meet people like that every day. The plot twists aren't super dramatic, but engaging enough.
There are many series, where the chemistry between the main leads is more steamy, I know, but in here, the focus is on emotions. Ohm and Nanon show more feelings in one kiss than most other ships manage to express during a whole episode full of fluff. Their acting is really good - I don't mean it like a "soap opera good acting" but generally good acting. They don't even need to say how they feel, their expressions convey the message. The relationship between the characters is generally very satisfactory to watch - there is no toxicity between them, there are lots of small and big gestures that can make the viewers squeal, and the communication between them is just as good, as you would expect from best frenemies and later boyfriends.
What I also really liked is the music. Bad Buddy theme song won at the 27th Asian Television Awards, and rightly so - it is so catchy! And the lyrics are well-written (of course judging by the translation). I really like Nanon's voice too.
I will definitely re-watch this series - it is a perfect mood-booster.
