Male Lead in both dramas see and interact with a supernatural being who no one else can see/interact with and eventually fall in love.
Both dramas revolve around a doctor at a hospital and what makes these two very similar in my opinion is that both doctors have troubles with not being able to save patients lives (in different aspects obviously) and they both are communicating with “the other side” i guess you could say . I’m currently watching both at the same time and they’re giving off similar but noticeably different vibes (the plots are different from each other as well as other hospital dramas i’ve seen) in my opinion but both are great so far ! so you should definitely give both a try !
Both shows are fantasy romances about a grim reaper coming into the life of a normal human and the struggles that the both of them face together. Please note that “dear doctor, I’m coming for soul” is a BL and has a lighter plot than “black”.
- both are BLs
- talking about doctors in the hospital
- mostly time in hospital
- manner of death talk about saving people from some political and organizations
- triage talk about saving people

Both series are BLs.
MLs can see one specific ghost/grim reaper.
In both dramas the MLs know each other when their were children (in DDICFS they actually meet as humans, in HCTM they meet as human and ghost already)

Both shows have characters of soul reapers. These two series both featured love stories that are supernatural.
Contrary to "Dear Doctor, I'm Coming for Soul", "Move to Heaven" is not supernatural nor a BL (it has a gay side plot for one episode though), but the similarity between the two dramas lies in how it portraits death. It shows different stories and fates of people who died / are about to die. Both dramas are really touching and tear jerking but beautiful.
In "The Whisperer" the lead actor has to live it's daily life tormented by ghosts of his relatives. The lead in "Dear Doctor I'm Coming For Soul" has the ability to see a soul reaper take life from his patients and other people with the ability to do nothing about it, like in "The Whisperer" both leads of both series have to live with dead spirits haunting and tormenting them.
Both are really enjoyable series with their similarities and differences!
