I feel like through both of these, they are both quite funny, and enjoyable together. But as they progress they show more. Hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I did, both right now are currently ongoing.

- The FL time/dimension travels to the past/game where she meets the ML.
- FL in MFMR is as brazen as So yong
- ML in MFMR is as stoic as Cheoljong
- chemistry is amazing
- the Difference is that the ML in MFMR is only a Duke/prince and the FL is a normal lady
- both have great happy endings and only has 24 episodes for MFMR

Sassy female who can save herself. A male lead who falls for her and is willing to go to the ends of the world for her. A story where both grow to love and care for each other. Also the costumes are gorgeous!

- The FL time/dimension travels back in time into the body of a female character that just died...
- the FL tries hard not to fall in love with the ML but she just can’t control her feelings
- both ML are hiding behind masks (Cheoljong as a “foolish” king and Qin Yue as the “evil” sect leader) but in reality they are both caring and kind in their own way
- chemistry for the leads in both dramas are off the charts

Both is good love story. But this is more emotional than mr queen. Because this is chinese they make lot of episodes so some episodes are boring unlike mr queen. But worth your watch.

-Similar relationship trajectory between the King and Queen. He hates her initially to the point of endangering her life but grows to be a devoted partner in crime
-Both MLs show cowardice and incompetence but in one case it is an act
-Scheming mother in law and love interest. In the Last Empress the character flaws are extreme
-Tough female lead
-Choi Jin Hyuk is in both the dramas and plays an ally to the FL in both!

Although these two shows are very different in various aspects, they have a few things in common. Both of them are about a character that travels into another dimension/back in time and goes through many ordeals because of it. The two of them are also romantic comedies.

Not similar really, but the endings really are. And I mean they are very similar. I liked them up to the end. Mr. Queen is really good and is actually one of my favorite Kdramas. However, the ending for both these dramas was uncalled for and dumb and the male lead was an idiot for not realizing who he was with was not who he had fallen in love with. Shame.

Both is historical comedy drama.

This drama had so much potential to be a very uniquely written and fresh drama.

Both are historical comedy drama. Hilarious. One is the Queen, the other one is the king. Want some laughs? Watch it.

Another fusion sageuk with a great cast. Its similar point is not only the comedy, but also an interesting play on the stereotypical gender roles: Homme Fatale has a "feminine" male lead and Mr Queen's female lead is "manly". Both titles combine comedy with more serious undertones.

These two South Korean dramas have time-travel fusion things, beautiful pairing and amazing lead actors.
