Sombre romance

NOT YOUR TYPICAL THAI BLSTORY
================
When SUPERNATURAL meets BL this series is what you will have. Despite just having 3 episode. each one will definitely make you stay at the edge of your seat. May it be you're expecting for a jump-scare or anticipating what will happen next, for sure, you will be asking for more. Unfortunately, 3 episodes is just too short. However, that works in the favor of the story itself as it did not have any filler scenes or unnecessary characters and side story. But do I hope for a longer one? Definitely yes, because this is a unique story comparing to the 99% of Thai BL's. No school/uni scene(s) and the fact that is can be categorized as supernatural as well.
What I really like about the story that it does not follow a linear time line. It does not spoon feed you and will make you think despite that this is a love story. Yes, thinking is more for the mystery type of story; but somehow, the mystery side of the plot is what will make you hooked. True enough, what was shown in the Episode 1 will definitely leave you scratching your head until you watch Episode 2 and realize what Episode 1 is the effect of Episode 2.
Episode 3 is the most emotionally packed one. Grief, anger, sadness, pain and letting go. I am actually surprised that a 16 minute long episode would contain so much of emotion. A 16-minute emotion roller coaster ride indeed. The very last scene, the most ironic "lines"... Kinda reminds me of the song "Punchline" by Aidan Martin because the word 'punchline' was said on the stage.
And as the video darkens, is also the time my heart dropped.
Story-wise if you want to have a sense of the order of the episode based on their timeline, what happened first is Episode 2. It is your choice which will follow next if it is going to be Episode 1 or 3. But I prefer Ep 2 -> 1 -> 3 as it has a sense of acceptance.
ACTING/CAST
================
Jeff and Gameplay are relatively newcomers in the Thai entertainment industry. BUT, they are already showing an awesome acting skill!
Jeff's characters as Mike (in this mini-series) and Marwin (Ingredients) have the same vibes; HOWEVER, in this mini-series, Jeff have already shown multiple of emotions. I must admit, I have watched the first 7 episodes of "Ingredients" before watching this one, after all, it was not complete until today. I like his character as Marwin and I have thought that it suits his looks, charming and cute and is working for him. Then I have watched this. Oh Boy! This guy have a lot of potential and can be on the level of the actors under GMMTV and Nadao Bangkok.
Gameplay, I really like his rugged looks here, and in the series Ingredients, is more neat and organized. Similarly with Jeff, he shows a number of emotions already as to his character "Tops" in "Ingredients". It really hard not to fall in low with Tops when he smiles, but in this, I really want to hug to comfort him as he has been through a lot. If you watch closely, you can see him shows hint of emotion in a number of scenes. It is actually hard for any actor to do that than to show the full emotion. Think about this, a smirk could mean a lot of things; but Gameplay show that facial expression and immediately, you know what he is trying to make you feel.
MUSIC
================
Two iconic songs that definitely put the watching experience in a different level.
1st is MOMENT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vT993S1FDNM
Jeff and Gameplay singing an excerpt of the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJwJuBq5y6U
2nd is COMEDY: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kuKy6aQvcrs , from Jeff's YouTube channel
with hardcoded lyrics: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IFmh2nvo00
Both were sung by Mike (Jeff Satur). Coincidentally, Moment is also featured in another BL series which feature both Jeff and Gameplay.
Jeff is fast becoming my favorite Thai Actor-Singer-Intrumentalist.
REWATCH VALUE
================
As almost all series I have watched I rarely rewatch a series or a movie and this is definitely not one of those that I will rewatch.

Watch it, it only takes up 45 minutes of your time.
Watch it it’s only 45 minutes of ur timeSo I watched this because I saw it somewhere on YouTube and thought why not? Funny part: I did not know at all what genre this was... I basically went in there expecting some innocent BL (although the title kind of should have tipped me off).
First about the acting: I can’t really complain... three 15 minute episodes are really short to make a statement about acting skills.. however I did like how all the actors portrayed their roles and it all seemed convincing. I absolutely loved how all the feelings where conveyed in episode three.
Now the story line: I like confusing things... so this was basically heaven for me. I watched episode one and was so confused that I started episode two right away, which explained a lot and ended quite interestingly... I loved episode three, though it did feel a little all over the place... however it suited the series nicely.
So I absolutely loved what they did with such a short amount of time.. there where some confusing parts till the end however not always understanding everything is sometimes a good thing. Gives you more to think about.
I’m pretty sure I’ll rewatch this again another time.
If you’re bored and don’t know what to do/watch definitely give this one a go, it’ll make the 45 minutes spent on it worth the while.

Non-Linear Timeline by great acting by Jeff and Gameplay
Okay so I’m actually only confused by 1 part ….was he not declared dead yet when he ghostly kissed Mike in the acting class? Bc I feel like they should have known that and then it would be weird to have him perform with Peem. But i’m just gonna go with it here.I actually liked this i even liked how it was set up in a non linear fashion. I do recommend if you need to think of it in linear fashion, it would be ep 2 (prequel), ep 1 (main issue), ep 3 resolution. I need people to recognize if a ghost shows up in front of you in your house, running to another room and locking the door will not keep them away from you no matter how many times you do it.
I enjoyed the chemistry of Jeff and Gameplay. Overall would still recommend to people, especially since its only 40-45 minutes of ones time.

So Not Worth It ....
I am really not understanding the high reviews on this drama, where i Just could not make sense of it and the fact that it is only 3 Ep so you can literally watch this under an hour.The only good thing of this drama is Jeff, which maybe why I only watched.
Have no what the story related too, it was really low budget you can not only tell the cinematography but the sound and all was so bad.
He She It was quite confusing. Yes, there's a bunch of plot holes and plot points where characters make decisions that don't make much sense. The timeline of the story is also all over the place.
Overall: Watch if your really bored and have nothing else or seriously desperate!!!

A deep, dark pool of fun and death
This was something different a short series, with what I assume a not so big budget (or all the budget went to the castI, low quality production but indeed very artistic and an interesting story that had me thinking, more than once... To be honest it was first when I saw the behind the scenes that I decided to give this a 9 instead of an 8.What I like, the complexity of the story they managed to fit in, in such a short span of time. I also liked the OST the contrast between the really pretty cinematography and good visuals set up against the cheep low budget apartment look. I enjoyed most of the acting, Gameplay and Jeff are indeed very charming and fun to watch. There was quite a bit of charm and heart fluttering moments in this otherwise very dark, dark setting. Being a fan of the dark I guess this was up my dark, dark ally...
The humour is mostly cheep but in a good way... as they do joke about sausages while frying sausages...
I do think they could have built even more on this story, but it worked as it was as well.
All in all definitely a show I recommend if you want to feel both entertained and find yourself analysing details and meaning after finishing a show.

You Should Watch It
This is a spoiler-free review, however this is like one sentence that's sort of spoiler-y (except if you looked at the tags/genres, it's not really a spoiler lol) so I'll put a spoiler warning before I say it.By the way, this show or short film would only take around 45 minutes to complete the entire thing so I definitely think you should watch it if you haven't already!
Story- I actually really like the format and it wasn't confusing for me because I chose to watch it in the following order: episode 2 'She', then episode 1 'He', and then finally episode 3 'It'. For me, that order is perfect and makes the most sense. Jeff said in the reaction video of episode 3 that He She It uses more imagery (than excessive dialogue) to show the story and meaning behind things. But the show also leaves room for interpretation, which I think is really good. The ending leaves you with this feeling of wanting more of an explanation but also not really needing one. That probably won't make sense until you watch it yourself. This might be an unpopular opinion but episode 3 was actually my favourite; maybe because it's the episode that allows you to connect all the dots and really feel for the characters. Obviously this is just a small production and more of a 'short film' than anything else, but I have to give props to the cinematography and storytelling. The entire concept is really great and intriguing. Honestly, it would have been absolutely amazing with a higher budget and longer run time. But it was still really good.
Acting/Cast- Pretty good. I love Jeff and think he improved over time in 'Ingredients' but his acting in this wasn't amazing. Don't get me wrong, it was good and for the most part, it was really great. But sometimes it did feel a little unnatural (like, I don't think he really felt the character enough to act out some scenes naturally.) I only really felt this way about his acting during the scenes where he was angry and a little bit during the scene with the friends in episode 2. However, he did really great in episode three (excluding maybe the scene with Meen) and when he acts with Game too. They play off of each other super well. Gameplay did a really good job also. I can't wait to see them in KinnPorsche!
Music- I said it in my review of 'Ingredients' and I will say it again... I'm in love with with Jeff's voice. He's such an amazing musician and honestly, one of the best Thai singers (out of BL actors) that I've come across. Him and also Billkin (from My Ambulance & I Told Sunset About You) are my favourites when it comes to singing.
Rewatch Value: I valued this at a 6/10 because I think it requires rewatching to get the full viewing experience (especially if you watch it in release order) but also, after that, I probably wouldn't rewatch it. {SPOILER AHEAD SO SKIP IF YOU DON'T WANNA KNOW} The reason I personally won't rewatch it is because it's sad. But it's an amazing experience to watch it once or twice. So hence the 6/10.
Overall: RECOMMENDED!

What was this BS?
The story was full of holes, the character decisions were random and why did they have to talk in the dark with the lights off most of the time?So many things happened for the sake of happening, without being properly justified/explained. It's like they picked a random person from the street who has never written anything before and asked them to make a script in 2 hours.
Waste of my time honestly. Once again, the talent and good looks of actors, wasted because of a zero value script.

For a short series i think this is pretty well played out and explains a lot in a short amount of time. The main actors Mike and Peem where amazing with the connection they had between them with some steamy scenes im sure a lot of people will appreciate. Unfortunately i couldn't find chapter 3 so im sorry for that but with the two i did watch i enjoyed them.Chapter 1 - he -
This series is based on actin which you find out about in the first chapter when a group of guys have to act out lover scenes. Peem and Mike are the main focus with a back story clip of something that happened between them , what comes next is a little confusing ...
Chapter 2 - She -
Pear is brought into the picture, Pear happens to be Mikes girlfriend who he has been with for 3 years. A friend tells Pear about the close friendship of Mike and Peem who appear to be more than 'friends'
Chapter 3 - it -
I couldn't find anywhere, sorry peeps.

Phenomenal and Profound Work of Art
I watched this series quite serendipitously and was so moved by its message and acting that I can not stop thinking about it. It is soulful, profoundly sad, and a masterpiece of acting. The singing by Jeff Satur is excellent and is also profoundly moving. This is not your typical BL series and I know that it might not appeal to a lot of fans but this series is ACTING at its finest with a story that is as interpretative as you want it to be. YOU draw your own conclusions. You experience its emotions on your own. While short in duration (about 45 minutes in total), it will leave you questioning what happened before, during, and after.I am trying to write in greater detail the review of this series on my website but need time to process its complete impact on me. Please go to see it at BLBliss.com. I shall post it soon.

I’m not sure if you can actually call it a “series” considering it’s just 3 barely 15 min. long episodes - you can find them on YT subbed under WarperTV - but it’s so good. Very dark, very, very tragic but also very good. A pretty simple and straightforward story but told in a very weird, almost convoluted way. Beware, though, it’s a horror tale and not a happy one, not in the slightest! Also, the story is pretty much carried by Jeff Satur and Gameplay Garnpaphon’s insane chemistry - if you have seen Ingredients then you know what I’m talking about. Here they also play lovers and, holy smokes! Now I really can’t wait to see them in Kinnporsche, hopefully playing a couple again! They’re both such amazing actors that you really get Peem’s anger and sadness and Mike’s anger and grief and guilt when he realizes what he’s done, that he took out his anger on the wrong person. Gosh, it’s heartbreaking.

The Series is Broken Up Into Three Chapters
If you don't want to be confuse. Please watch in this order Chapter 2: She, Chapter 1: He, and Chapter 3: It. Chapter 1: He is the aftermath that is shown in Chapter 2: She. I enjoy how this BL is different then the others. Most BLs lately are about students being engineers. I wanted a change from that. This BL series brought a change to the BL series. It shows how Supernatural and BL can be mixed together. I know some people have different opnions about this BL series. We all can agree that it's unqiue. Jeff Satur wrote the OST song and sang it at the end of ep 3. I do enjoy listening to his voice. I wish people support him more as an actor and singer.Cet avis était-il utile?
