i kept waiting and waiting for him to be a little more intimate, more romantic or at least nicer as a boyfriend but he never really did. we never saw him do anything much honestly. sasuka put almost all the effort in the relationship. such a bummer honestly. also sasuka started getting on my nerves tok after a while because of the way she was acting like girl... why does my review have to contain 500 words? i do not want to analyse this more jesus christttttt. btw WHY DID SHE NEVER CALL HIM BY HIS NAME like youre supposedly dating wtfym by "dr tendo" like girl bffr. this is all thats coming to mind rn i might update if i remember anything else that really bothered me. k bye!Cet avis était-il utile?
No Chemistry…Tropey…Ultra Immature Female Lead
An immature female lead is not unusual in Asian dramas, but the character of Nanase Sakura is worse than most. In the story she is supposed to be 22 years old, but acts about 12. Even though she has spent five years training as a nurse, all that seems to really matter to her is that she wins over her doctor crush. He is distant throughout the drama, except for the last episode or so and is constantly insulting or ignoring her, calling her dimwit and boulder. Anyone with any amount of self-respect would have backed off long before she does. What she sees in him and what he sees her is a complete mystery; their chemistry is an absolute zero. I’ve enjoyed other J-dramas I’ve seen, but this one was a real disappointment. The only thing that made it watchable were the medical cases which were pretty interesting. If you are under the age of 15, you might find this entertaining; otherwise I would give it a hard pass

No doubt, others may find this one reminiscent of ItaKiss where the girl chase the boy for many years, and the girl ended up being a nurse because of the man. However, the two dramas have a major difference in terms of character growth in the female lead. I love how Nanase grew professionally on her pace. Another difference is that Tendo is milder than Irie from ItaKiss. He gets mad only when patient's welfare is at stake.
Satoh Takeru in a romcom?! Yup, same reacion.
It was really a shock that Takeru at his age and status would finally do a romcom after many years. But, yeah, he pulled it off. Actually, I love his Tendo Kairi more than the manga version. He gave it more life and dimensions.
That chemistry is no joke! Yes, Takeru x Mone chemistry is really something.
Despite the age gap both in the drama and real life, they were able to give us one the best chemistry in japanese dramas. I dont ship that much in real life, but I'd love to see them together again in another project, maybe not as a pair but just together in a role.
OST is lit! Ive been playing I Love by Higendandism countless of time already. I love the timing of when this is played in the drama.

I finish lakorns, dramas very quickly during this Covid 19 self isolation days, so I decided to settle with this one upon a recommendation by a fellow MDL member. Before I start my reviews if you are feminist don't bother to watch.
As you'll be start moaning, why they write the female lead stupid, why she declared her love, why he's a good doctor etc, why can't women can be a good a doctor bla bla.
There's no domestic violence, a part from bullying, everyone gets bullied, even docs get bullied, so get over this..
Yes there's one domestic violence slap scene that's when Kamijo one of Tendo's tried to slap / punch him. Even after all the bad / humiliating words he used for Sakura, Tendo remained calm.
Ah but if you say only beautiful, clever, talented girls deserve to date, good looking, clever, professional guys, that's another case.
No need to be a snow flake, this is not real life, only a drama, if you don't like it move on to something else.
I prefer male doctors to female doctors, male doctors are much more gentle where as female docs are no where as gentle as male doctors...
I didn't have much expectations, my J drama adventures had ended after watching Itazura na Kiss series several years ago..
I recently returned back to watch J Version of You are my destiny.
DR. Tendo Kairi, he's a genius doctor, handsome, clever, sharp, where as Warrior aka Chick, NurseSakura Nanase is quite the opposite.
She's clumsy, a bit naive, a bit stupid, nowhere as clever as Tendo..
Yes she's stupid, yes she rans after a man who she had seen only once in her life, and becomes a nurse,
She falls in love with him and decided to be a nurse after Tendo helping an elderly lady..
The first day of work she declares her love to Tendo infront of every single people in her ward.
She goes through a lot to be a better nurse, and to win the heart of Tendo
She was not a great nurse, but she became a good one, Nurses learn in field, I know nurses who are specialist but much worse than Sakura in real life..
She doesn't only win the heart of her love but others fall in love with her as well.
I like Tendo's sister and how she helped Sakura to win the heart of her brother.
She had good relations with other nurses, and she's loved by all the patients in hospital.
The actress looks young and she's young in her 20's and the actor is in his 30's..
For the moaners it takes 6 years to graduate from medical school ,(and you don't immediately start working as a specialist, it takes also time, so logically the age gap is perfectly normal)
If you are looking for an easy romantic comedy, I totally recommend it.
You'll enjoy and won't regret watching it

A light romance drama that's not boring to watch
Well well well, a story about a relationship between a doctor and a nurse is a mainstream one. We all know that. But, the vibe, the light romance, and the one-of-a-kind japanese comedy that this drama has become their different-from-the-other dramas points. I mean a lot of medical-related dramas always have a heavy problem, but not with this drama, it's fun and exciting to watch. Not to mention the casts's acting ability, like DAMNNN the crying scene of Sato Takeru still gives me goosebumps, it makes me cried really hard with him. Oh, I also really love how this drama is so focused on the main couple's relationship development so that we know what exactly is happening and not missing anything. Loved it.Cet avis était-il utile?
I need no excuse do watch Sato Takeru anyway…
Love last Forever or Koi wa Tsuzuku yo Doko Made mo is about a Girl who falls in love with a man, 5 years ago. And she knows he is a doctor and where he works. So for the next 5 years she studies to become a nurse and work in the same hospital. When she achieves this, she discover he is not the gentle guy she remembers but the Devil Doctor.
Well, it is a fun drama to watch, for sure. It does not have a lot ups and downs on emotional rollercoaster, bit it tries and it is where it fails. I felt like Love last Forever got all the drama cliches and put it all together making this drama fells tiring at times. They made a big deals of unnecessary things and trying to add drama when there was no necessite. And even if the drama is still fun to watch, it is perfect to marathon in a weekend it fails to be good. I think if they only choose one factor and focused in it, this drama would have been a lot better.
About the acting on this drama, Takeru did a great job portraying Tendo-sensei, but that is it, everybody else was just square, mainly Kamishiraishi Mone as Nanase, she is cute and all, I think that is what they were going for, but she lacks a little bit of caristma, so in great part of the time, I don’t care much what happens to her, but much of that comes from the inability of Love last Forever created any seizure in the viewers. The rest of the cast is the same.
From this you can see, I started watching because of Takeru, I finished because of Takeru.
One thing I really loved was the soundtrack, I don’t know if it is because I started watching Japanese dramas first and it is nostalgic to listing to someone singing in japanese, or if their soundtrack are really the best because I really got into the music here. The music saved a lot of the drama, let me tell you.
And after all that I said before, will I rewatch this drama… Yeah, it is fun, even with everything else, I had fun watching it and I would watch again...

A simple but entertaining love story
Love it, love it, love it! This drama brought me back to my teenage years when I used to watch anime on Tv. It's the kind of Japan productions I love the most: a romantic and simple story with the right amount of drama to escape from daily life. It will entertain you, it will make you laugh and cry.The characters are well portrayed and true to themselves till the end. The acting is good.
You may say that Sakura is a little too naive and sometimes a little foolish, but that's the reason why the main couple works so good and the plot is so lively.

And while rooting for her crush to like her back, and also seeing her growth and confidence as a nurse side by side, making us viewers cheer for her job too. Great work done in creating a wholesome character.
Became a fan of Takeru Satoh and binged watch all his Rurouni Kenshin movies! (They are wonderful movies, the best)
A 10 episodes short drama with a nice story, perfect for binge watching any day!

Gold quality of tropes and clichés.
Many of us like to say we are done with cold misunderstood male leads and naive and nice female leads, but that’s all a big fat lie. We all just hate when it’s done in a trash way. Koi wa Tsuzuku yo Doko Made mo brings us the best that rom-coms can offer, and I gladly, without any complaints, binge watched the whole show in one day.Yes, Sakura is loud, all over the place and naive. She is also hardworking, pays attention to details and her patients and knows how to fight for what’s important to her.
Yes, Tendo is cold, mean and stoic. He is also cares for his patients, empathetic and driven. Both leads fit into the stereotypical rom-com characters, but represent more than that.
The chemistry between them was amazing. I enjoyed each and every scene they had together, and wished for more. 10 episodes are just not enough!
While the romance is the leading plot, I appreciated how they incorporated different stories in the mix. Yes, everyone gets paired up by the end, and the good old rule of “no one can stay single” exists here too, but I was not mad about it. I watched it for romance, so the more romance I’ve got, the happier I was.
Now, let's be shallow for a second - Sato Takeru is HOT. I mean damn. Could they get anyone better for the role? No. I died. Few times. My poor heart ain’t strong enough to handle him.
The acting was great. It’s truly hard to pull off a role like Sakura and not seem annoying - Kamishiraishi Mone made it happen. I loved the female lead and I was rooting for her during the whole show. I excused every dumb decision and embarrassing moment coz she was impossible for me to dislike and get annoyed or angry at.
The soundtrack is also a bop. All the songs. I wish they turned up the volume a bit though, coz at times I could barely hear the music in the background...
Any complaints? Not really. There are things that others might dislike, like: it’s over the top and amazingly unrealistic. Some rather serious scenes made me laugh a lot with how dramatically they were filmed and edited. There are some characters added ONLY to create some additional conflict, and bring nothing more to the table. And somehow, I liked these aspects too.
Overall, really good rom-com with great chemistry, likeable characters and a perfect amount of 2nd hand embarrassment.

Diagnosis: Full of Fluff
If you like broody male leads, bubbly female protagonists, and seeing semi-dramatic, unrealistic scenarios play out on screen, then this is the manga adaptation for you!Quick review:
-Story: unoriginal, but entertaining: a solid shojo adaptation
-Acting/Cast: amazing performances by everyone, even when the script was lacking
-Music: Worked well, enhanced scenes
-Re-watch value: Probably not worth re-watching, but it is so short you could
To be honest, I had to watch on 1.5x speed, because the cringe moments were so cringe and any time the two main leads were not in a scene together the show became pretty boring. I wish they would have spent more time developing Saikai’s and Nishi’s characters, because they had a lot of potential but ended up flat.
I feel compelled to say that this drama is problematic in a way that I see many shojo being: it’s supportive of infatuation-based relationships over healthy, mutual-respect based ones. But, what’s new? Of course the secondary male lead would be a better boyfriend, but that doesn’t stop our female heroine from being madly in love with the main lead before she even knows him. It’s definitely entertaining, but even such an “innocent” drama has harmful messages.
Overall, you can easily binge this 10 episode drama and enjoy all the classic moments of a jdrama romcom. If you’re on the fence, watch one episode. If you like the first, you’ll like the next nine as it’s a lot more of the same.
