"We would like to talk about things that are never talked about on Korean television."
It's not too common to see Korean dramas with South Korean society’s taboo subjects in the story such as sexual orientation, mental disorders, drugs, rebellion kids, etc. This one has everything mentioned and a bit more. The drama It’s not just about the young people and their youth, but also about parents and the lack of responsibility and/or support many of them have towards their kids. It may seems like a basic short drama, but it talks about some really important issues and I appreciate how diverse the characters are. Each one has their own struggles in life to deal with and you can even relate to them. But like I mentioned before, Discipline is a short web drama. It doesn’t have a long time and investment for a perfect development. However this wasn't an obstacle for the director/writer. They still did a good job working on those previously mentioned issues despite the short time. I may be a little too biased because this kind of story about rebellious youth and friendship is totally my thing, but I assure you this is a worth to watch drama. Just the fact it breaks the traditional on Korean series is a good reason why you should give it a try.
Furthermore, it would be really great if this web drama could gain a long version (like kdramas usually are). Discipline has an important story to tell and this could definitely be as good as it is if it had more time for development.

I liked it
Story: Pretty solid for something so short - the story made me invested in the characters and their friendship despite the short runtime. Apparently I'm a sucker for the whole 'found family' trope and I didn't even know it until I watched this. It was really well done here and lacked the toxicity that some plots will have when it involves drinking/drugs/stealing etc. I loved how the characters were there for each other, supportive in their unique ways and how every characters was different but fit all together as a group. Adorable, really. I especially loved the following friendships/bonds: Tae-woo & Jihan, Jihan & EB, and Tae-woo & Hoo. I know a lot of people actually shipped Tae-woo and Jihan but I actually really loved the friendship (brotherly relationship) between them. It was incredibly sweet and the protectiveness cures my soul. There were of course parts of the plot that was under-developed and could have used more time or elaboration. But, that's why I gave it an 8/10 instead of a full mark.Acting/Cast: Gave this only a 6.5 because half of the acting isn't the best but honestly this show was awesome and the acting was pretty good for a mini web series
Music: 7.5 because it was almost forgettable.
Rewatch Value: Only a 6/10 because it's not something I would readily choose to rewatch unless I hadn't seen it in ages.
Overall: I highly recommend watching this! If I'm being honest, I was only watching this so I could watch season two with Jihan but I ended up quite enjoying this!

it was fine, i guess
because i am gay and have adhd, i felt obligated to watch this. the story itself was fine i guess, i mean there wasn't anything really in depth or anything and some storylines were confusing. as for portraying adhd, hoo was like the posterchild of boys with adhd. he was super impulsive, fidgeted a lot, always wore headphones and was very hyper and loud. i mean, i guess i didn't hate it because he was funny so i forgave it. as for the gay boy, lmao there wasn't much depth to him or any explanations about his father or boyfriend so i can't say much. overall, i don't regret watchingCet avis était-il utile?
Well...boys and girls, they were all 25 years old at the time of filming. The gay component is woefully lacking, in fact only a few minutes in the fourth episode. The processing is excellent, believable, adults are rude, smoke, steal, masturbate, they also have positive aspects. I was surprised that there are actually almost the same youth as elsewhere in the world, after all, Asian countries have more combed, uniformed education, there is more respect for adults, for the elderly... Despite the fact that this series does not deserve a below average rating, it is I do not recommend this site for most users because of the small percentage of the gay component, which could bother many.
No ... kluků a dívek, oni měli všichni herci v době natáčení už 25 let.

Truly the SINGLE MOST SENSATIONAL thing was showing protagonists smoking.
So while not sensational it is entertaining. But you can't call it BL, its just two kisses and some makeout and mostly fan service of the het guy. Its got the bare bones of a plot and characterization and the ending was so boring.

A Fun, Chaotic Ride
From the very first second of this drama (and no, that's not an exaggeration; if you watch it you'll understand) I knew I was in for a wild and crazy ride. Discipline was chaotic, dynamic, thoughtful, and engaging from beginning to end. In terms of story, an over-arching plot loosely connects this mini-series, but I also think that each episode can be viewed as a stand-alone that focuses on a day in the life of one of the characters. Speaking of characters, I enjoyed all of them. Each had their own distinct personalities, and the way they cared for one another was really nice. The actors did a great job portraying each one. The dialogue was smooth and natural, and the writing overall was well-executed.The only complaints that I have revolve around time constraints. Oh how I wish these episodes were longer or that we got more of them. I would love to spend more time with these characters and delve into their stories more deeply. As is, it felt like we got stories that were mostly complete but a bit rushed through or glossed over. I felt like some much-needed backstory was missing to really give this series depth it deserved. I also felt like the ending was a little abrupt and didn't offer the resolution/closure I was hoping for, as well as felt a bit idealistic. Still, for what I'm guessing was a limited budget based on number and length of episodes, the series was really well done and I think offered more than some series that are twice as long.
Needless to say, this was a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon, and this is a drama I'd definitely recommend.
