a simple yet touching drama
I have to say, this is the first Thai drama I ever watched and the first BL drama with intimate scenes (that is, hugging and lips-kissing), so I will base my comments bearing in mind the above.Being the first Thai drama for me, I wanted a very simple story, preferably in the supernatural genre, not too many characters and no complicated characters because I wasn't sure about the way Thais do their dramas, wasn't sure whether there will be any cultural barriers that would hinder my understanding of the story. I didn't think much about the BL aspect, but I was generally open-minded about this aspect.
I got exactly what I wanted from this drama. However, it was the BL that made the entire drama very touching and meaningful from the two main leads' dialogues and body language. And I have to mention, the opening song did play a part in enhancing that feeling. It was a really very touching song. I recommend anyone to go listen to the song first if you are considering whether to watch this drama or not.
The chemistry between the two main leads' was very good. Perhaps the only thing if I have to comment a little negatively, was the kissing scenes. They weren't done with as much chemistry as I would have liked them to be, even to the point of being a little awkward actually, but still this did not take away my points for the drama because the chemistry in all their other interactions was perfect.
The ending, I would consider it to be happy or perhaps the best possible happy ending. Although there were reviewers who commented that the ending was too easy, because it was kind of leaving things as they are and the main leads continue in the same manner, no change, I was ok with it because they are at least together with each other, who knows for how long, but the moral of the drama did tell us to enjoy every moment of our lives and live happily every day as we don't know what tomorrow will bring.
This drama started me well for Thai BL dramas since it was a drama with minimal intimate scenes like hugging and lips-kissing without feeling put off for beginners. I feel more open and look forward to watching other dramas with BL, especially ones made by Thailand.

Supernatural Rom-com? It really works!
He's coming to me, is a great supernatural romantic comedy. I just watched this last March 2022 and I was scared that I might dislike it because its a 2019 series, and I almost thought the series didn't really aged well. But damn, I WAS WRONG!The plot of the story is somehow unique. I know there are some series which has similar plots to this, but it's not that common. I was in loved by the whole story. The whole story is cute and adorable itself. I know its creepy for a ghost and a human to be in loved and to be in a relationship, especially, after the twist and revelation in the end 🤭. But I still think its great!
The characters and the actors. Damn, Singto and Ohm was great in playing their own roles. They really executed it well. I already expected it from Ohm, with his facial expression and blank stares which makes you feel something whenever he does it. He is really great in conveying emotions and messages just using his face and even his eyes. Singto was great too. This is the only BL show that I have watched with Singto, so I was surprised that he is very good too. His cute little expressions can really hit you hard.
The supporting characters, the bestfriends, very chaotic and fun. I loved how they are fun together, even if there are some hitpoints and problems within their friendship, like the love triangle 🤭. But they are still great. I was just ecstatic to see Chimon and his rare smile in a series 🤭.
Overall. the whole show is superb. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to watch a cute romantic comedy with a splash of supernatural aspect. 10/10

The Only Series That Has Made Me Cry
This is a biased rating and review, but hear me out. When I say that I do not cry to films, series, or books, I mean it. By the time I started watching He's Coming to Me in December 2020, I had seen plenty of movies and read a ton of books from every genre imaginable, and the only tears that I had shed were tears of laughter.
Thus, it is not a stretch for me to declare that this series achieved the impossible. It made me cry – and by crying I do not mean a few tears here and there. I sobbed like a baby, rivers of tears running down my cheeks and vision so blurry that I had to pause the episode to wipe my eyes because I could not see the screen.
This is why He's Coming to Me holds a truly special place in my heart, and I will not hesitate even a little to recommend it. I am sure that it has its flaws in both plot and acting, which more objective reviwers must have pinpointed, but let me tell you: unless you are made of stone, the story of Mes and Thun will captivate you, shake you, break you, and then heal and uplift you. It is a masterpiece, a rare gem, not only among BL series, but also among fictional love stories in general. Outstanding.

One of the most underrated GMMTV BLs
This is a show with a ghost but it isn’t a ghost story. As Med and Thun’s relationship develops, a question hangs over them: How is it possible for a ghost, whose age is frozen in time, to be in a relationship with a human? The series is so beautiful because it shows how love can transcend limitations, such as existing in different realms or not being able to touch or see one another all the time, making the wider point that love, at its core, is pure and unconditional.
It was an excellent decision to cast both Ohm and Singto as they are both very gifted in conveying conflicting emotions – utterly critical to a series where joyful moments necessarily take on a bittersweet flavour.
This is definitely one of the most underrated GMMTV BLs, hands down. Especially for those who like cute boys and a good mystery.

He's Coming to Me!
This drama is definitely in my top 3. I enjoyed the storyline, but also the absurdity of the plot. (The fact that one of the love interests is a ghost). However, the fact that there was real chemistry between the two actors made the drama extremely enjoyable.I think in anything Singto does, you can feel the intensity in his characters and feel that they are genuine in their feelings. I think Ohm also has this ability.
I think the chemistry of the two characters is what makes you want root for them, no matter how impossible the situation seems.

Beautiful
He's coming to me had me sceptical at first, because it is about a ghost and a human. So I was thinking that there is no way this story can end well. However, the main leads were cute, so I watched it anyways. I was not disappointed at all, their story captivated me, even though I suspected the sad ending. I didn't know how much it would hurt my heart after watching them and getting lost in their innocence. The chemistry between Mes and Thun was undeniable, the moment they met again, lets just say the chocolate he brought for him wasn't even half as sweet. They gave a great acting performance with their roles, equally as good were the performances done by Golf and Prince. They are definitely the best friends everyone should have. Supportive and honest in every action they had towards each other, even when angry. Complimented by Praif as the only female within the group and the source of a pretty sweet love triangle. Adding a little to the drama but never taking away from what is meant to be. The story of their relationship progressed from pity to magic and I have never been so glad for magic. Taken on a journey of a boy and a ghost to figure out a mystery, watching their happiness and their sadness was worth the roller-coaster, because in the end we would all fall off anyway, because we know one of them is already a ghost.
While the reveal of why he couldn't reincarnated was actually very underwhelming, seeing the relationship of all the main and supporting characters was heart-warming. The relationship between Thun and his mom was one of the best we could have asked for, such a marvellous role and the reveal of why she doesn't like cemeteries was a nice touch. The final scenes will be hard but totally worth watching.

Absolutely Wonderful!
(Literally the most mild spoilers ever, I promise!)I'd heard nothing but amazing things about this show, and it truly did not disappoint! It's definitely one of my favorite dramas, and one of my favorite shows that I've ever seen. I have zero complaints about it— for me, it was perfect.
Let's start with Thun and Med. They are the heart of the show, and they were so freaking good. Ohm and Singto are both brilliant actors who absolutely killed every part of this— from the silly moments to the romantic ones to the sad, heart-wrenching ones. Ohm had me sobbing on multiple occasions. The two of them also had really great chemistry, and I loved the way the show handled their relationship. Specifically, I loved how they handled Thun falling for Med while also grappling with his own sexuality. Every part of it was so good. The scene in the rain, where Thun was screaming for Med and Med physically can't appear? Tore my heart out! The coming out scene with Thun's mom? Kicked me in the fucking GUT. Honestly, that scene was on par with the coming out scene in Love, Simon, which hit me so hard.
The show also did a really good job balancing the humor and the more serious parts of the story. My personal favorite was how Thun just gave zero fucks when it came to talking to Med in public— every time he earned a side-eye, or a weird comment, or that one time the girls moved tables to get away from him... I was laughing so hard! And on the other side, the show had me crying on multiple occasions, as well. It was a really good balance, though, so I never felt that the show was too silly or too emotional.
I really enjoyed the side/supporting characters, as well! I loved the friendship dynamic between Thun, Khem, Prince, and Prai. Especially just how stupid the boys would be— they felt like real, stupid college kids and I loved it. I also just really loved Prince and his whole subplot within the story. I felt like Chimon stole the show often throughout, though perhaps it's because I'm such a sucker for pining and will fall in love with any story that includes it. Still, I really enjoyed his performance.
Finally, I was so happy with the ending. The fact that it actually ended happily was such a surprise— you don't go into a ghost love story and expect it to end happily, I feel. But it did, and it was such a relief! I was expecting this show to emotionally wreck me (and that would have been nice, of course), so it was just a pleasant surprise when we got a happy ending.

Really sweet with a little bit of mystery
『STORY』If you’re looking for a casual sweet show with a little bit of mystery, then this is the perfect fit.
At first, the love between the two characters felt a bit like Romeo and Juliet to me seeing as they can’t be together like other people considering the fact one of them is a ghost. But the longer you watch the more clear it becomes that it’s actually about the fact that love has no boundaries. The two main characters genuinely seem to care a lot about each other even before they properly confess. This isn’t only shown through Thun’s determination to find out how Med died but also through normal everyday interactions.
What I personally really appreciate about this show is that they don’t use any toxic BL tropes to build up their relationships. Anyone who’s seen a BL knows the ones I’m referring to. As a queer person myself I put a lot of value in proper representation because these shows do affect people’s views.
Overall this show is perfect to casually watch and relax too while also having a bit of action every now and then.
『MUSIC』
For me, a show has good music when I don’t really notice it that much. To me, it’s a sign that it really fits the situation seeing as I only really notice the music if it's bad or just distracting. So the fact I didn’t really notice it in this show means it was pretty good.
Sadly the opening song is kind of forgettable, which isn’t a big deal but I really like unique openings I can add to a playlist.
『ACTING』
While watching the show I really felt like the actors did a really good job at understanding their characters while also having fun. You could really tell they cared about their roles by how genuine the interactions felt between the two main characters. Of course, it's nothing revolutionary but they did a really good job.
Whoever did the casting for this show did a really good job.
『CINEMATOGRAPHY / CGI』
The cinematography felt a bit better than the usual BL’s but it’s nothing too different. Outside of that, they did have to use some CGI for some of the scenes seeing as one of the main characters is a ghost. Very rarely they show how he couldn’t touch people and how if he picked stuff up it floated to the people that couldn’t see him. Even though it wasn’t a lot it was pretty well done seeing as it didn’t feel out of place or too fake. I was quite surprised they even had it in the show seeing as usually Thai BL’s don’t seem to have a big budget (it probably still wasn’t that big of a budget seeing as it was on rare occasions that this happened).
(Sorry for any grammar and/or spelling mistakes, English is not my first language)

Loved it so much
I know this BL is old and nobody is going to read my review but I just have to leave one.I am a HUGE fan of stories that rip my heart out (I don't know why but I actively seek out heartbreaking stories sometimes) so when I read the description of this one I knew it was going to fullfil my needs.
It actually wasn't as sad as I had expected it to be, but that's not necessarily a bad thing at all. (Despite loving stories like these I also hate them because they hurt so much)
This show was sad and sweet and cute - the only negative I have is the weak kissing - I am used to a lot more action when it comes to Thai BLs - but that's honestly not as important as the overall story and acting.

Really love it
I've been rewatching this series for about 3 times already, and it's still really exciting to watch. I cried like about 7-8 times, it was so dramatic. But it's so good, it's the best BL series I've ever watch. The story was very interesting, it was a new story that no one ever done before, a story between normal human and a ghost. The acting was super good, they really make me as audience felt what they were feeling. The music was very good, I kept listening to this song for over a year and still not bored. And the rewatch value would still be at 10, I really love this series, it really makes me feel good watching it.Cet avis était-il utile?
Nicest surprise
I had tried three times to watch this drama and I gave up three times: I had never been a fan of anything supernatural...This time, not only I passed the first episode, but I finish to watch the 8 episodes in one day. I was very moved by the story and convinced by the acting of the whole main crew, falling for Ohm's charm and smile. He portraits a very sweet character, from his early childhood to the adult age. And also the good thing is that he comes out progressively, hesitating, asking himself questions like everybody else. He is definitely gay and avoids us the stupid pensum we ear all the time in BL dramas: “I am not gay but I love someone who happens to be a man/ if he was a girl, it would be the same….” Thun is gay. Period.
Since the Greek tragedy, Love and death are the two major events in our lives and this story integrate both in a nice way.

it's an amazing first bl to watch in my opinion the storyline how Singto is a ghost is really funny and touching, i also like how Ohm's character doesn't give up on mes. This BL is AMAZING !!!! and little do i have to say it's better than make it right and sotus… but let's wait till the next ep maybe something will happen and the storyline will be destroyed;( actually i don't think so this bl can only get better.
edit (2 years later): yes i still agree with my previous review, you should def give this a try
