Okay so, story ; no spoiling, so it might be vague but, it's about how these new college freshmen and their respected faculties have cherry picked the most perfect, and representable students from their group to compete in the battle of moons.
( both girls and boys compete for their own title).
So development of characters and how it plays along with the main idea which is winning the battle of the moons.
~ pha is a dream Boat. clearly all you need to know is that he at first is a stuck up, typical handsome and fandom able person whom everyone loves and he's pretty smooth with those who he keeps a relationship with, some of his qualities change over time ;).
~ Yo. O . M. G. The definition of Kawaii literally. The sweetest, kinda awkward, but brave and he sticks up for himself and what he believes in, sometimes swayed by love.. Ooooh getting emotional writing this.
~ everyone else, basically supporting characters are either cute or annoying like phas friends and or his gf. But some of them I loved seeing on screen and playing roles in the greater scheme of things
Overall : my heart my eyes and soul were blessed period .

Most of the actors felt so very flat but I could’ve taken that if at least the story was interesting. Spoiler: It wasn’t. To be perfectly honest, around mid-series, I started skipping the PhaYo scenes and I stuck around for one reason and one reason only: MingKit. Ming & Kit, their story, and especially Kit were the saving grace of this drama. They certainly gave me a different vibe than their reboot counterparts and that made it interesting enough for me to keep going.
To sum it up: Behind the scenes BS aside, I’m very glad that the production company didn’t make S2 of this drama but rather rebooted the whole thing. It seems namely that they learned from their own mistakes and they made 2M2 much faster paced and much more dynamic. Also, they developed all three pairings and not just PhaYo with a side dish of MingKit.

This is my opinion
I watched this about 5 or 6 times so maybe you can considerate my pov. 2moons actually has a not so good story since I read the books too, but I love the way they made this series. I love the storyline which is slow and take a lot of time because it feels more realistic. I felt like this is what a person do when he want to approach his crush. Even though all the casts acted poorly but they got better and better. So far I’m satisfied by their cinematography, music, plot and all the casts is handsome and pretty. And for the books, I only love the first book because the rest is so dramatic and not realistic, that’s why I don’t really into season 2. I suggested you to read the first book to understand this series more. Btw, mingkit is one of my favorite. Sorry for my poor english, I triedCet avis était-il utile?

Almost there
STORY:The story was a very cute and well thought out story. Everything connected, no plot holes, and it seemed to be the average BL.
ACTING:
Most of the cast did great, They were funny and played their roles well. However, I felt zero chemistry between the main leads and after watching their behind the scenes, the obvious discomfort between the two made me turn away form the main couple completely. Knowing that they were uncomfortable with each other made me feel uncomfortable watching them acting together.
MUSIC:
The music was really cute...at first. But then it became really repetitive. If I have to hear "1 2 3 I love you" one more time-
REWATCH:
As I said, the story is very well, written and totally worth the watch. However, I wouldn't rewatch this. It's one of those dramas that is very charming the first time. But after a second or third time the charm starts to wash off.

Overall I felt the acting was again just ok, with the exception of Kim who's Ming brought a breath of fresh air to the series. He was funny and very handsome and honestly him not being in 2moons2 is the thing that is keeping me from watching it.
If you're a fan of BL dramas and you have the time I wouldn't discourage you from watching it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it. The show has very very little rewatch value for me.

One of the best BL series!!
Well yeah, I would really recommend this one. If you're really into cute, pure, cheesy and somewhat cringey type of bl series, then this is the perfect one for you! While watching this, they never failed to make me smile and just fangirl at how cute they are. Just looking at Bas as Wayo is already cute but the story itself is just so adorable and pure. BL fans are somewhat used to seeing kissing scenes in a BL series, but this one is perfect without those makeout scenes. Actually, I am also waiting and expecting for a lot of kissing scenes while watching this, yeah there's some kiss here and there on the cheeks. I am not disappointed though. I totally loved it. Whenever I want a pure bl series and to take a break from those wild BL series, I always watch this. I also loved the fact that they have supporting couples in the story. Ofcourse, having some problems and the antagonists is a normal thing. But still, I can say that this is one of the best BL series out there.Cet avis était-il utile?

Absolutely love it! This is perfect! The story line stays exactly how it started except when it develops the love between Phana and Wayo. I love it when Phana teases Wayo and he just turns shy. GOD DAMN IT!! This is the perfect story for a nerd guy that have a crush on the hottest guy in the campus. The umbrella scene is to die for!! Seriously, if you are watching this in public, please control your voice because you will scream so loud. I like it when Phana becomes jealous too. It shows that the top could get jealous too!For side pairing. MUAHAHAHAHA. Ming & Kit. Ah. Love-Hate Relationship. I love it. Ming is more like bubbly and friendly guy and Kit could be very playful but he turns serious when Ming wants to date him and that's what make its even cuter.
Overall, The first series that i watch before jump into Fujoshi fandom is SOTUS but now i recommend if you are still new, you need to watch SOTUS, 2MOONS & Love By Chance. These 3 series are going to give you a heart attack. Trust me!

why are people sleeping on this gem?
This show goes so crazy, it's not even funny. I am going to do the average now. It gets a 9.1 from me, which is rounded down to a 9. This is such a good drama, and no one ever talks about it. I loved every second of this. 2017 was such a good time, bro. Everyone had that weird haircut, and they were pumping out bangers with no over-the-top or cringe-worthy plots and the craziest plot twist you have ever seen in your life. just some cheesy cute dramas. This reminded me of Star in my mind, and I love that one, so I loved this one. It was very cute, and I loved it. I am going to go on my close friend's story and check what I was thinking while watching the show, lol. And why are we pretending like this isn't one of the greatest Thai dramas of all time? Like what. Nah but it was really good.I titled the highlights 2 Moons 1/2/3, because I plan to watch all of them back to back. The first thing I said was, I can tell it's 2017 with these haircuts, because everyone and their literal mother had those side swoops in BL. It felt great, and I was already having fun with the show. We meet Wayo, who is an actual cutie. He is adorable, and I love him so much. I think he mentions that he is 173 cm tall, and I said out loud, "What is 173 cm in American?" and then proceeded to ask Siri, "What is 173 cm in USD?" Not my greatest moment, lol.
I was watching it on some sketchy screen recording, so it was super blurry, but still great. They had the goofy ass walk out with music, and we got to know more characters, and the more I fell in love with the characters. I said it was 2017, and it gave me a star in my mind, and sotus smashed together, which is a good thing, I swear.
Than, Phana was being so annoying, omg, I hated him at first. The way he was treating my baby. He was a jock who peaked in high school and his freshman year of university, and that was his whole vibe. I came around to liking him after a few episodes, but oh my god, he was annoying. Like, shut up, bro. kept going on about how much I hated him and how he just needed to be quiet because he only gets away with being a dick because he's tall and handsome and studying medicine.
And we meet his little clan, who prey on their juniors, which is so fun. I think we meet, kit, forth and beam who I love. But they was also getting on my nerves. And the pinkmilk subs who subbbed the video I was watching are so fucking funny, my god; they had me laughing the whole time with their weird comments at the top of the video.
We meet Beam (again), and he looks really scared in almost every single shot. It's because of the actor's eyebrows, but he looks so fucking scared, and it's really funny. I love him and his whore era, lol. He is very much a vibe and I hope we get more of him in season 2.
This is like an eneimes to lovers, first love, childhood love type beat, and I respect them for putting a whole bunch of tropes in there and somehow pulling them all off. I love the director and the actors for that.
Phana looks so different in every single scene that I was convinced that Wayo was dating like three different guys. The hair shapes his face either for the better or for the worse, but it makes him look hella different. Beam continued to be quirky and weird, and I love him for that. I also started to love Kit's character so much; he's just so fun. I love him for that.
I love when dramas act like the characters are the hottest people on earth, and they were doing that for Wayo and Phana, and I love that. Wayo's build is amazing, and he is so cute and adorable, and I love him.
Ming being a questionable but really good best friend was what I lived for in every single episode of this season, bro. Phana and Wayo then start falling for each other, which is cute, or Phana rekindles some old feelings he use to have for Wayo, which is always fun. I love the I've always loved you trope. its fun.
Than We saw Boun for some reason, and we love him for that. And that's the end of my close friend's story. This was a banger that not enough people are talking about. It was really good, and it made me happy. I love the cast, and the story is overall really good. A pretty light and fun watch. I love them for that. If you like Star in My Mind and Sotus, then I recommend If you haven't even watched those, watch this anyway; it's good. I recommend. Okay, I am hoping this season 2 is just as good; probably not, but it is worth a shot. Okay bye!

You look rough, sis.
It's so strange because this drama is just as bad as it is good.I don't want you to think it's horrible because it's definitely not; however, there is A LOT of room for improvement. If I had seen this drama when it first came out, I know I would've probably liked it more, but since I'm watching it during a time when many BL productions have a considerable improvement in quality, I can see the faults in this drama more clearly. Even so, I still enjoyed the bits and pieces that created the bigger picture of the story.
~Story
Basic but cute. At this point, if you think this is new content you either haven't been paying attention or you are way too forgiving for this world and need to leave before I throw you a 9 inch high heel straight to the eye.
The main plot of this drama was finding and knowing each other again. I enjoyed how the story portrayed the main character's own prejudices towards himself and showed us a new "free to love" version of himself. There really isn't a lot going on in this drama to the point twelve episodes felt like a little too much content for such simple story. I wish they had focused a little more in the college Moon competition; I wanted them to make the story more exciting by giving the characters more challenges and fun things to do for the viewers' entertainment instead of just preparing them for a boring beauty pageant that didn't really mean anything at the end.
~Cast and acting:
Yes and no. I know there are a few fan favorites acting in this drama but, to be honest, I was unimpressed by their performances that felt VERY staged:
~Wayo: Questionable acting. This character looked and felt like a major airhead with the way he always looked like that meme of the old lady tryna calculate something. He did have some really cute moments that were the actor's only strong point, so all hope isn't lost with him.
~Phana: Probably the best one here. He was still a little staged, but nothing too crazy. He definitely felt the most natural of the bunch and was able to successfully carry the relationship better than Wayo's actor. By the way, his fucking name is God, I could not believe it! Thailand and its unique names, I swear LOL!
~Kit and Ming: These two fan faves are not of my liking. I see chemistry, but everything they do is so staged that it isn't even cute to watch. It was the same in Gen Y. I just cannot enjoy a performance like that.
~Forth and Beam: They were supposed to be a couple according to the title cards???? I don't know, I don't think they even interacted at all to even call them friends.
~Direction, pacing and editing:
Excuse me, what? I don't think there was even a vision in this drama. What's the purpose? What's the message? What mark do you want to leave in this world? There's nothing of the sort in this story. Even though what we got was good enough for a simple drama, the story in itself felt so incomplete. The script needed so much editing and rewriting to make it move nicely and keep the viewers engaged and like I said earlier: twelve episodes were way too much for it to the point a lot of things dragged for more time than it needed.
Sis, this show has everything: Prejudices, fears, misleading actions, re-encounters, re-starts, airheads, petty bitches, senseless beauty pageants, and lotsa gay shit. If you're one of those who just like watching for the cute moments and shenanigans I think this is a good drama for you; however, if you're more into captivating and fascinating plots, then I think you should go look somewhere else because this doesn't fully make the cut.
Would I rewatch this in the future? Yeah, sure. I mean, it's good for passing the time while I'm doing random stuff around the room.

CUTENESS OVERLOADED BUT STILL LACKING IN STORY
There are some positive points I want to mention.1. the leads are charming and handsome. You will get the pleasure of your eyes.
2. there is no misunderstanding in the main leads for a third person. They solved all the misunderstandings by discussing among themselves.
3. they already know that they like each other, so there is no official proposal except in the last episode.
4. Both Forth and Pha expertly solved their problems. There is no hints or argument. They clarify it.
5. the most attractive in this series is the characters' friendship. No matter what happened, both the leads got their friends just by their side.
Bad points
1. The story is just all about featuring couples. This series completely ignored the main leads' family. Like there is no conversation, at least phone calls or messages between the characters and their families.
2. they showed only a moment in the whole series and ended it by accepting Yo to be in a relationship with Pha.
3. there is not a single moment of the relationship between Forth and Beam. They made the cover by creating three couples. But where the hell is the third couple?
4. the story seems incomplete.
though the negative points are pressuring the positive points, I enjoyed the show. The cuteness between couples is worthy of watching. Just watch the series to enjoy the bonding of friendship.

Safety Blanket BL
This show was the seoncd BL I have ever watched, with SOTUS being the first. I loved the friendship in this show and I am a huge sucker for one-sided love. Hence a reason why this show got me, I do know that there is a lot of drama going on with God and his reason for taking the role of Phana; but this show still makes me smile and squeal like I am a 12 year old girl seeing my bff talk to her crush. The author of the series really needs to have translations in English so I can buy official versions, I unfortunaetly have bought horrible translated versions instead.I almost want the show to be completely redone with a different company and set of actors, if they all agree to do all 3 seasons/books so that the viewer doesn't need to keep waiting in dread of it being dropped again.
Watch the show and focus on the cuteness, the love triangles, and the cliches that you know you love.
