 The first drama I watched was The Untamed in 2020, after that I watched Color Rush and The Sweet Blood, then for a long time I didn't watch anything*
*ofc in 2022 I watched 2 Kim Ji Woong dramas (｡>\\<)
The milestone that in June 2023 drew me into the world of BL

About the rating (explanation):
I'm strict when it comes to rating any drama series. A lot of things influence my final opinion.
When I'm watching, what matters to me is not just whether I liked it or had fun watching a particular drama, but I pay attention to every possible detail.
Starting from the technical side: accuracy of editing, scene trimming and smooth transitions between scenes, sound quality, the actors' microphone settings, atmosphere and colors of scenes, selection of appropriate music.
Going on through: action-packed, good sense of humour, the curiosity of the script/story, acting.
Ending with: skillful construction and the development of the story, the behavior and development of the main characters, the point of the various behaviors and reactions of the characters, the “need” of the appearance of more new characters or couples (whether they bring something needed to story)
and most importantly for me: solve of all possible threads that appeared (although in minimal way)
so that even the story of side characters is not left out.
Things that always make my rating drops:
unexplained and unfinished threads, absurd plot/threads or absurd arguments, lack of logic, pointless time jumps, embarrassing/cringe humour and wooden acting.
*I usually turn a blind eye to the "weird commercials" (product placement), because that's how the drama got financial support, but if the commercials are already so horribly bad that it's impossible to watch them then that also affects my opinion. |
