It achieved it's goal and was cute doing it
Okay, i'm gonna be honest with you man, I binged this yesterday, so my thoughts are a bit messy. The series was quite good, but, if you ignore the covid part, there wasn't much happening. Then again... you do have to take covid into account, so that point isn't very strong.
Overall it gave me this very feel good, cute, lovey dovey feeling, but the actors had very little chemistry. I could blame that on the way too prolonged stares that went for like two minutes every time. What was the deal with that?
Everything else tho? Very nice, the story was quite cute and there was very little drama, just some misunderstandings. I was silently screaming because they were so into each other, like some of the lines... man..
One thing that did bother me a bit was Chen's (i watched the series yesterday and already barely remember their names) pushiness. At some points I was like no, stop, respect the boundaries, even the little ones.
On a more positive note, my little bi heart fluttered when they showed actual representation of attraction to more than one gender. I have always absolutely hated the "oh, i'm only gay for him/her" trope, but here they showed very clearly that this character isn't just a confused, closeted gay boy, he's openly bi and not ashamed of it, even proud of it. And honestly? My little bisexual heart really needed it.
