Could've been better
This drama was good, it was enjoyable and cute, however, it could have been better and I have seen better. At the start, the episodes were fast-paced and enjoyable - I was beginning to like the characters and where it was going. Towards the middle of the show (ep 7), it became more boring and I found myself having to force myself to watch it. Then, at around ep 12, it finally began to pick up the pace a bit and I ended up enjoying watching it more and finished it in 3 days.I personally am not a big fan of the friendship Ae-Ra and Dongman had. Considering they had been friends for 20 years, it didn't seem like it and the writing of it could've been better. I found myself enjoying their romantic relationship more than their friendship which is something very uncommon for me.
I also really enjoyed Seol-hee and Joo-man's relationship especially the ending as it was realistic and not like the typical kdramas where the man gets instantly forgiven.
My favourite character has to be the coach, he was so wholesome and fully believed in Dongman, even more than Ae-ra did. The best parts of this drama were definitely the fighting aspect of it. I loved the relationship between Dongman and the coach, I loved the determination Dongman had to win and make his parents and his sister proud. I don't agree with the ultimatum Dongman was given but I also cannot blame her, no one could ever see the love of their life get beat.
In conclusion, this drama was good. I feel that if the writing had been a bit better and the middle of the drama hadn't gone downhill, this drama could have been more than a 5/10

beautiful, mindblowing, amazing
first of all, i just want to say that this kdrama is not one i would normally go towards but i LOVED it !! so much !! the plot was heavy but the plot didn't feel heavy or get boring in the middle which is normally what happens in plot heavy dramas, it was beautiful, i felt all emotions, i felt happy, sad, angry, it was just all in all mindblowing. the writing, the cinematography, the characters, the acting EVERYTHING. there was so much meaning, it was written beautifully and every single character had so much depth, including the side characters which was great to see. i loved the settings, i loved how every single character had a part in the drama and they each had a meaningful story which we got to see. we were shown the patients stories and why they were in there and it was just so mind opening. the representation of each mental illness was beautiful.i also loved seeing the development every character had, especially our main characters. the relationship development between sangtae and gangtae was so beautiful and meaningful, i cried so much for them both. the found family too 3 it was like every single character was apart of a huge family. i cried so much for munyeong and i felt her every emotion, her story was so heartbreaking and i began to understand her and who she was as a person. the cast was perfect, there couldn't have been a better casting. each and every actor did beautifully, i keep using the word beautiful because this was literally what the drama was.
however the reason i didn't give it a full 10 stars was because, at the beginning, it was very confusing and boring, it was hard to get into until around episode 4. also, the ending was a bit of a let down, i wish we saw more from the ending, i'm glad we got to see the patients ending especially pilwong, jungtae, areum and gi-do but i wish we saw more for the other characters endings for example, i wish we got to see how the publishing company was after the release of the last book, i wanted to see more for jaesu and seungjae. i feel as though the ending was a bit rushed to be completely honest but it still was an amazing and beautiful drama that deserves all the hype it got. i genuinely don't think there'll ever be a kdrama like this again

i loved it,,, until
I don't know where to start. I originally started this drama because I was in the mood for something lightweight, cute and mushy; and that is what I got until things started to go downhill however for now, let's just remember the good things.Ra Ra - I absolutely adored RaRa. She was so different from the other female leads I had seen, she was just so loveable. After everything she had went through, she was still so bubbly and had a positive outlook on life which was just so adorable. Her personality changed her everyone for the better and she was just a joy to watch as a whole.
Sun Woo Joon - GOD I fell in LOVE with this man. I first watched him in Extraordinary You where his role was the complete opposite so it was kind of odd to see him in this whole new role but he was made for a first-leading male role. His acting was amazing, every time he smiled I felt a little ping in my heart and every time he cried I bawled. I adore male leads like this and it was really nice to see Jaewook in this new light. I really hope to see him in another first-leading male role soon.
Story - Let's start with the good things. The plotline up until about episode 13 was AMAZING, it was a 10-star rating plotline for me. Every single character was written perfectly. Dr Cha kind of creeped me out at the start and I did have the suspicion that he was Do Do Sol Sol La Sol but as the story went on, he grew on me. The salon ladies were so cute and the teenager's crush story was fun to watch. The relationship between Jun and Ra Ra, I don't think I can ever stop talking about it. His love for Ra Ra and the way he could never say no to her was so special, it was really unlike anything I've seen before. The love he felt for Ra Ra was genuine and when the discovery of who Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol happened, it made my heart flutter. Knowing he fell in love with her from first sight and not 'love' but actual love that he felt so worried for her and wanted to keep in touch with her was so precious and romantic. They were really soulmates.
BUT then everything went downhill when the writer decided to switch it up from such a bubbly, cute innocent love story to melodrama. It felt like the writer had changed completely. Jun's character changed completely, he lied about going to the US but actually had blood cancer??? why would you not tell your loved one that AND then his mum came and liked to everyone saying he had died?? I can't tell you how much I cried just to see him come back 5 YEARS LATER and pop up in front of Ra Ra acting as if nothing happened. I understand he didn't want her to see him ill but she thought you were dead!!! for 5 years!! I absolutely despise long time jumps and this one was just stupid. However, the ending was nice to see. Her playing the piano as she used to when she welcomed Jun home for him to run in like he used to do. If only they didn't add that stupid 5 year time jump and overused illness story, this drama would've been 10/10.
However, I can't lie and say I didn't enjoy it. I managed to finish this in 2 days and I would recommend to my friends as long as they beware of the sudden plot change.
