Even better than I expected ...

Started watching this drama primarily as a fan of Namgoong Min. As the story progressed the storyline and the acting really drew me in. Not only was Namgoong excellent but the other actors were interesting as well. The storyline built up slowly setting the stage for the characters, with some unexpected twists and all of a sudden you realize that you are totally involved.
Overall a very good drama that I highly recommend.
Once again Namgoong does an excellent job at painting a character, the mannerisms etc. As usual a character for the part - that constant surprise of a good actor.

Love this drama right from the start

Excellent acting by all, great story line. Special praise for Park In Hwan who just makes this the most delightful story with his acting. You can feel yourself doing these things at his age. It is so motivational to see someone focused at an older age to achieve something new and so dramatically different from their regular lives. Comparing this to the naturally more self-centered youth is dealt with so well. Will update my review as I progress through the show but am in no hurry, just savouring each episode as they come.
This drama held its fascination for me right through to the end. Kudos to all involved for not losing steam but actually continuing to engage me even more. Thank you for this lovely experience.

Feel good drama - love the mother - women angle.

Hooked from the first episode. Politics as I would like to see it.
Too often politics at any level is about what the political machine wants rather than the people.
This show reminds us of that fact and what would happen if our needs were considered.
Love the mother - women angle, how the mothers of future leaders were not always considered even though their roles were so important. If they were happy and fulfilled, the family would have a better chance of being stable.
Enjoyed the acting very much.
Looking forward to watching the rest of the episodes to see how the story unfolds as politics always corrupts, so it will be interesting to see how that is overcome.

Update: The episodes continue to be very good, dealing with social issues and surprising solutions. Really happy that I found this show. Right through to the end it continues to entertain while providing ethical, positive outcomes.
Appreciate the support acting by various cast members - Takahashi Issei, Yuriko Ishida, Tanaka Kei. And of course the opposition lead role well played out by Furuta Arata.

This is the third time that I am watching this show and am still enjoying it so much. The cast are so good in their roles, especially after seeing them as so many other characters in different dramas.

The main actor Ji Sung is so versatile and is the main reason I am watching this for a 3rd time. I have just finished watching him in some more serious roles and wanted to remind myself of his acting in this light hearted comedy - and am as always astounded with his range.

The female lead is also someone that I really enjoy - Choi Kang Hee. Have really enjoyed the dramas that she has been in.

Finally the supporting cast are so good in their roles, each one adding so much to the overall story with their quality interpretation.

Overall even third time through I am enjoying this drama very much.

Lovely inspirational movie .... so refreshing to watch

Just chose this movie by chance and I was so happy to have found it. What a lovely movie. The storyline was intricate in its unfolding and has such inspirational words and moments that were so heartfelt. This movie is very worthwhile watching at any time and is completely agelesss.
The whole production was excellent. The characters were interesting and the acting was well done. The music was hauntingly beautiful and has been put onto my list for periodic future sampling.
Mu use of Dramalist led me to find this gem. Very useful tool. Thank you to all those involved in Dramalist and this movie.

From the start this drama was very good and made me want to see how the story and acting would unfold. Thanks to the writers, actors and every one involved in any way. Even though I am only part way through it - my feelings were strong enough for me to write a review now.

Ji Sung is especially a gifted actor and I am now watching all of his works that I can find with eng subs. He has a wide range which makes each role so enjoyable to watch.

Am not sure that I will like when this ends as I am enjoying it very much. Have completed the drama and enjoyed it right through to the end.
