Sweet Home 2 is great, but…
The long-awaited second part is finally here. After three years, the sequel has arrived and we finally find out how the story continues and where our beloved characters from the first season are.To begin with, I rewatched the first season, honestly, it's been a long time since I watched the series and I'm glad I rewatched it. Watching my favorite scenes again, and also the sad ones, only brought back my desire for more and I was excited and full of expectations to finally watch the second season.
But… yes, let’s start with but…
Where do I start, ahh.
The first three episodes started off great. I was intrigued by the new conflicts and the CGI looked surprisingly better. Of course, in the sequels, you always have to adapt to the actions and decisions of the characters, even if those decisions lead them to good and bad things. We also meet a bunch of new characters who have joined the fight. Honestly, you'll either love them or hate them. There is no in between.
Finally comes the fourth episode, where the story begins to branch out. Oh boy! The scenes flew back and forth, at some parts I was confused and yelled to my TV screen “why, whyy, what’s the reason” but I followed closely anyway to stay in the loop. The new characters we met got more screen time than our original characters, which made me a little sad. I know, I know - now that's their story too, but still!
It’s a roller coaster full of everything and please be awake and in a good mood when you watch this.
Let me just say - Song Kang, you were amazing. I missed you.
Also, only 8 episodes? I finished the series so quickly, I don’t even know if I saw anything worth remembering.
Sweet Home 2 brought more fights, more characters and more monsters and even more plot twists that I expect to see untangled in Sweet Home 3.
And honestly, overall I would rate it a strong 5.5/10, but that’s on everthing else other than what I’m suggested to rate.
See you in the summer of 2024.

Bitter and sweet
Just the right amount of sweetness with a little angst and lots and lots of kisses. This was the first BL drama in which I enjoyed watching the acting of the main actors, as well as the supporting characters who fit perfectly into the plot. Unlike the other BL dramas I watched, the acting in this one was excellent, completely smooth and not at all stiff. Interactions and actions between the characters have charm and seem natural, without being overly forced. With the right person, everything will be okay.
Long story short because wow, this was such a refreshing drama.

A good drama for a weekend watch
As the title of this review says, an excellent drama for a weekend afternoon watch. Honestly, it's been a while since I watched a really good drama, full of laughs and without that heart-wrenching anticipation of whether the main characters will ever give in to their feelings, without love triangles and etc. I don't want to go too deep into the plot, but this is a drama that will make you love it from the first episode because it's simple, funny and just somehow different from the rest. Also, Teo Yoo is fine af!!

Bloody brilliant!
A little late to the party, but I'm still glad I watched this drama. For starters, I love action series with a pinch of drama. It was refreshing to see Woo Do Hwan in the role of a boxer who fights for his family and the people he loves. The first series I watched with him was the drama "tempted" or "the great seducer", it depends on how accurate the English translation is. I didn't write a review for that drama because I'm still in doubt whether I liked it or not, but I have to say that I remembered him and his way of acting. In "Bloodhounds" I was really captivated by his innocent look and sensitivity that I had to keep watching. Plus seeing him as a boxer holding his heart in his hands was really emotional and wonderful. The bromance is real! He and Lee Sang Yi were a pairing that I never expected to love so much and I really hope that I will have the chance to see them together again. If not, I can rewatch the drama all over again haha.
As for the story, it’s a typical story of revenge for one's family, which was wronged by a criminal. I'm not saying it's bad, I love such stories and watch them no matter how many times it’s repeated, but here's what really bothered me. I had the impression that the writers helped the criminals more than the good guys. I know that sometimes there is karma and sometimes something happens that you didn't expect, but it really seemed to me that the criminals had everything delivered on their plate, while the good guys struggled until the end.
But all in all, it was an amazing drama that I watched in one day and I'm saddened that it's so short. I would like more!

a fun movie for the weekend
Never did I imagine I’d get to see all in one movie until I started this one. I actually started the anime, but only a few episodes came out since it’s getting delayed every now and then. So, this movie was a fun watch and got me hooked up since the start. It’s starts on a serious note, then we quickly get into the story with the zombies. Well, despite all that entertainment, the story got messy and ridiculous around the end, but still a very good watch. Also, that sh**k scene got me screaming and laughing hahaha. It’s a 6.5/10 for me.
Check it out!
