Good acting and interesting story
An interesting and quite realistically depiction from the aviation industry, with a strong female character which I really liked.Very brief synposis:
Female aviation pilot gets transferred from freight to commercial, clashes with a boss who is extremely focused on safety and procedures. She fights to get recognised for her abilities at equal level as male pilots, and along the way ends up falling in love.
The script kept my interest throughout. Of course there are some intrigues to create tension, but the scenarios are kept quite realistic. Well done to manage to weave in focus on safety in an industry where a lot of people don't really think about everything that goes on "behind the scenes".
The FL has really grown on me since I first saw her in "Road Home". Although the character is kind of similar when it comes to personality, I will say she does a very good job here as well. She brings a very good energy to the screen.
ML was also strong, although his character was a bit less memorable than hers

Mediocre, with some entertainment value
I watched this after seeing some clips in social media that peaked interest. It didn't quite live up to my expectations though. It is OK, but quite unrealistic/extreme actions.
Some of the things that pulls it down for me:
How FL is quite immature, none of them communicate well leading to repeated conflicts, and if his coworker really liked him, why would she go to such extremes as to ruin his dream and life?
And how quickly did FL move in to a new apartement? It was like she went straight from deciding to break up to eating dinner in a new apartement. I even skipped back to see if I had missed a text that said "1 week later" or something.
I found ML to act quite well, whereas I am more unsure about FL - might be because of the character.

Love can be healing and painful
Please note: This review is for both seasons. The casting was great. Kim Ji Soo as Yoon Tae Oh has great energy and charisma, and Jung Jin Young makes you sympathise with his character Seo Do Hyun. The female leads were also strong.
The story is a bit slice-of-life, although parts were too unrealistic. It had some lighthearted moments, some very emotional moments, and some frustrating moments.
The pace was quite good, and even if I could kind of see where it was going, I didn't want to stop or skip, but follow along as the story unfolded.
My expectation from the synopsis was probably that it was going to be a bit more romcom than what it was, so if you also think it can be a lighthearted funny watch, you might want to adjust your expectations more towards romance.

Uncomplicated comfort drama
This was a sweet comfort drama, with quite simple, straightforward story about love that was meant to be.Casting was good - the main couple didn’t have the strongest chemistry, but they were quite sweet together in some scenes.
Second ML was good, and second FL was ok.
As for the story, it is quite uncomplicated and simple as mentioned. There are of course some twists in the story where you might expect more to happen than it actually does.
Conclusion: Easy to watch, leaves you with a good feeling.

Strong acting,
The drama takes us on a story that spans over quite some time, so be prepared for some timejumps. It is a story of friendship, differing beliefs, romance, politics and war.
It will most likely play on your whole emotional spectre – be prepared to shed a tear or two.
There are some quite beautiful scenery, and the acting as I remember it from the main leads is strong; both in fight/action scenes, and in other scenes.
If you are "on the fence" when it comes to historical dramas, this might be a bit on the heavy side for you, but give it a go anyway.

Ticking off all the right boxes for historical drama
Romance and political. Good acting, filmography and costumes.Looking back at this now a while after watching it, I would say Joo Sang Wook as the older Prince Lee Kang left the strongest impression on me.
As a historical drama it isn’t super original, but it pretty much ticks off all the boxes, and does it quite well:
Some tense scenes, some emotional and tear-inducing scenes, and some scenes making you smile and laugh.
A few things, like close-ups of horse riding, could have been better, but it might also be due to the fact that the show is 6 years old at time of writing, so I’m expecting better per today’s standard.
As usual I don't really remember the music, so giving that an "average" score.

Quite lovely although not very original
A story of falling in love, and I would say: Staying in love (her parents). It is a rather un-complicated storyline, a bit predictive, but at the same time quite lovely.
They could probably have made it an episode shorter if reduced all the flashbacks throughout, and some lengthy scenes.
Acting was OK; I do feel FL and ML could've had a bit better chemistry throughout; it was just a few moments that felt more convincing, the rest was OK, but not "sparks flying" good.
I got very emotional watching the last episodes - without giving too much of a spoiler I will only say it reminded me of my own past.

Something feels a bit off
By "something feels a bit off", I mean exactly that: It could have been good, but there's somthing stopping you from thinking that, although it's difficult to pinpoint exactly what. I have landed on "they tried too hard".How is it possible to try too hard? Dialogue, story-archs, filmography, subplots and twists and turns: It just feels a bit over-exaggerated.
I did take a break from this, but I kind of liked the main actors, so I decided to complete it.

Good "coming of age" drama
I quite liked this drama, if I ignore some of the points I found a bit unrealistic (could be due to cultural differences).Strong performances, I especially liked the male characters.
This was amongst the first "coming of age" C-dramas I watched, and coming back to this review now several months later, I can add that a lot of them are quite similar.
I guess what made this stand out the most for me was the acting, and the beginning was quite memorable for me (for some reason).
I don't really remember the music, so I just give "average" star rating for that.
SMALL SPOILER:
^^^^
^^^^
I found the situation when her mum took her back quite unrealistic, and I didn’t quite understand why she got straight back in contact with the others, but not him.

A bit dragged out
Parts of this drama were worthy of 8 stars, but some things pulled it a bit down, so I ended up on 7,5*Wei Zhe Ming as the ML is an actor I have liked in other works, but I wouldn't rate this amongst his best roles.
As I am looking back at this now a while after actually watching the drama, the FL didn't leave me with any impression whatsoever.
As for the story:
I liked that there were some independent, strong female characters, and understanding, loveable parents.
They dragged the story out a bit too much.
Her having loved him for years, even if she got hurt by his rejection, I found some of her following actions (or "non-actions") a bit over-the-top.

Familiar plots, but OK as light entertainment
***Review is for both seasons.***Familiar plots and subplots, but an overall ok watch as light entertainment. You know: The kind you can just watch without thinking much, or maybe not even giving it your full attention.
The story feels a bit like it was "inspired by" Boys over flowers/Meteor Garden.
Some scenes and edits could’ve been better.
Apart from the extreme fake crying the acting was also OK. The chemistry between ML and FL was at times a bit lacking though.

Impressive historical drama
I found this historical drama to be impressive and moving. This was amongst my first historical K-dramas, and it left me with a strong impression.Great performances (Ha Ji Won & Ji Chang Wook!), and the amazing costumes added to the overall impression.
Although the story (as I remember it now quite long after watching) had a few "jumps"/gaps, I guess it was due lack of references and to not make this long drama even longer.
Warning: Big chance you will cry at least once, maybe more.

Sweet and endearing
I found myself enjoying this a lot more than expected. The main leads were very sweet, and I felt they acted out the different emotions well.
It was a bit on the long side, and as I am writing this review now several months after I watched it, I must admit I don't remember THAT much from the story, but more the overall sweet feeling it left me with.
I do remember that I found some short scenes felt a bit unnecessary - they didn't really matter/add anything of importance.

Workplace drama with mature romance
I became a lot more invested in this than I expected. I liked the mix of female friendship, workplace challenges and mature relationships. Part of the reason why I got hooked might be I am in fact mature myself, lol.The cast was good: I liked the fact that they "looked their age"; mature people in their 30s.
The main leads portrayed their roles well. ML had charm without being overly dashing; his small expressions were very well timed and added realism. FL was also very strong and convincing.
The stories revolving around the three friends shows different kind of life choices, relationships and obstacles. The three different storylines were well executed. They paced well, had good archs and character developments.
The overarching keywords (themes) that can be said the three storylines have in common are: family, career, obligations, sacrifices, and "self respect/worth". But how these themes are being explored for the three female characters are very different angles.
Although I kind of could foresee the outcomes, it was still nice to follow along on the journeys.
The workplace dramas were not on the extreme side, and I found the shopping mall setting interesting.
