what you should do if you're too scared to watch it
This drama is so good! I would heavily recommend if you don't get scared easily. The story is quite unsettling and disturbing, so if you get easily scared, don't watch it by yourself. As a person who normally watches rom-coms and school dramas, the difference between those dramas and this one is quite big. I would suggest to watch another drama to warm up to this one. For me, Tempted/The Great Seducer was a good bridge. Something to watch out for is that the whole story is just messed up. So, you might not feel scared and then you might suddenly get that freaked out feeling. Although it is definitely scary, I would say that it's not to the point of any nightmares.Everything about this drama felt like a masterpiece. The story, acting/cast, music and rewatch value all deserved 10. But overall I would give it a 9 because a lot of the deleted scenes were so cute and important. This caused some characters to be underdeveloped. I also misunderstood some characters and got confused at some point in the story. I only got to fully appreciate the story and the characters after watching the deleted scenes.
bonus: the soundtrack was good

class of lies was lit
Honestly, this entire drama felt like a good fever dream. That probably doesn't make any sense, but it was complete and it was interesting the whole way through. I have to applaud Yoo Beom Jin's actor because his acting was so amazing. In general, the crime aspect was well done and the watchers are able to guess along with the characters. There are a lot of details and the direction of the drama is unpredictable. This made it exciting, but you have to pay attention or you might miss something. This problem could only be for me, but the subtitles in this drama were so bad. I watched this on Dramacool, so it might be different for you. The subtitles were inconsistent and even some of the nicknames the characters were given changes between episodes which gets confusing. Another thing is that the episode lapping is quite large (the end of the previous episode as the beginning of the new episode). I would say almost 5 minutes is lapped. Sure, you could skip it, but in some cases, new details and clues are brought up. This was a small issue though, and it's useful if you space out your episodes (I binged, so it got a little annoying).I will say it's hard for the characters to grow on you or to develop a favourite character. This factor is important for me when watching a drama, so that's one of the reasons why I only gave it an 8.5. The only character that grew on me was Lee Gi Hoon and he didn't have many scenes....
This drama's music will always be superior. A lot of the music they used was rap. I thought that this was fun since normally the OSTs would be soft singing or something along those lines. Plus, the BGM they used when the attorneys and rich people were talking made it feel like they were gonna square up.
add Class of Lies to your watchlist right now!

The drama is too short to develop any attachments to the characters or notice the soundtrack, but that's what you should expect from a short drama. The storyline is also quite basic or cliche, but there's no time for it to be complicated, so it didn't bother me.
So, if you're bored, binge it with a friend, it won't take long and it's on Youtube.

can running get tiring?
I picked up this drama really quickly and immediately thought it was interesting. The main point that caught my interest was Ms.Oh's job, since it isn't really a job we usually think about or truly appreciate. It showed me and other viewers the importance of subtitling and strain it can cause the writers. Other than the interesting jobs, there were many downsides for me, which is why I only gave it an 8. The issue for me is that I liked the other couples way better than the main couple. Personally, I think that that isn't a problem, but in this drama the interactions between the main couple were frequent even though they were awkward. It was cute at first, but then at some point it made me feel uncomfortable. Another issue for me is that the story got too predictable near the end. Nothing came as a surprise and the drama/story got slightly boring. Of course it wasn't to the point of dropping the drama, but it took a toll on my interest for sure. In other words, the beginning of this drama had the best parts. It wouldn't be the first Kdrama I'd recommend to my friends, but I would recommend it eventually.

if you like rom-coms true beauty is a must watch
I loved this drama! It may seem like your typical cliche drama, but the story actually builds quite nicely. I liked how there were serious topics being brought up, while the comedy level wasn't lacking and was compensating for all the underlying sadness. Plus, (I don't want to sound cheesy but..) the level of cute high school romance was enough to give me butterflies. Anyway, I almost never cry when I'm watching a movie or a drama, but unexpectedly, I cried for this one. This made me realize how much the characters grew on me and how much I loved True Beauty. All of the cast members did so great with this drama, almost to the point where I didn't feel like they were acting at all. Ga Young, Eun Woo and In Yeop have seriously grown on me and I will continue to keep tabs on them. This drama is for sure a must watch and should be put onto your watchlists, but there were some areas I wish they did better on. One major thing is that the supporting characters are really underdeveloped. Other than being friends with the main cast or going to the same school, the viewers don't know anything about them. It didn't affect the storyline or cause confusion, I just wished we got to know the supporting characters too, since they also play a big part. Another downside is that the beginning and the end of the drama were the best parts. The middle was a little uneventful and it made the drama seem heavy at times (if that makes sense). Regardless, you should watch it! There are so many references (to other movies and dramas) and familiar faces (guest actors) that made a cherry on top. So get your stuff together and start binging.
(I didn't read the web-toon)

"wasn't it cheesy?"
No it was not cheesy. I feel like a lot of people would think that way since the concept isn't basic and that cryonic capsules could sound weird. But no, even though they don't exist yet (I think) I didn't think that the story was weird at all. It was actually believable if anything. I especially liked that they included vintage things. The only thing about the story is that not a lot happened in one episode. I guess that means it's very bingeable. Personally, I thought the drama moved very slowly, but then a lot happened in the end.I thought that the casting was good. I just think that Ko Mi Ran looks a lot like the guy from It's Okay to Not be Okay. If you watch a lot of dramas, there's a lot of familiar faces in this drama. This was my first time seeing Choi Bo Min, who played Hwang Ji Hoon. His character was small, but he was my favourite. I wish he had more lines and scenes.
In general, everything was good, but not amazing. I would still recommend though.

something was missing for me?
This drama was pretty good. It touched on a lot of different perspectives you don't normally see. It was definitely interesting and I liked the unique personalities going on. The actors also did an amazing job. The actor for Sang-Tae was so great. He made me believe that he was the character and that he wasn't acting. The child actors for Sang-Tae and Gang-Tae were also great.I would like to mention that a lot of times dramas are ended in a weird and unsatisfying way. I won't spoil anything, but just saying the ending was satisfying and it is one of the best last episodes I've ever seen.
Even though this drama was really good and made me cry the most, for some reason it didn't make me want to finish it. When I watch one of the episodes, I'm always super immersed, but when it's time to watch another one, I almost don't want to. All of the episodes were good, but some part of me didn't want to continue, even though there were only a couple episodes left. Of course, in the end I pulled through. I guess what I'm trying to say is that there's a chance you might lose interest and that the show isn't that bingeable (unless you want to go through an emotional wreck). I'm not sure.... I can't pinpoint what it was.
Yes, I didn't really want to finish it, but I still really liked the drama. There was good character development, the music was good and a lot of the supporting roles' stories were included, all of which I liked very much. I would definitely recommend watching it, since the show was well thought out and had a good story.
Something about the show just wasn't for me.

I am not a robot general review
In general, the story was good and it was very interesting. It makes a good first drama. I really enjoyed this series at first (since it was my first), but when I watched other dramas, I realized that this drama was missing an "it" factor. I felt as though there weren't any peak moments and the drama was very flat. It could be because the likelihood of this situation happening in real life is low, which sort of made the show unbelievable? Other than that, the actors were well played and you could feel the emotions. I would not watch it again, but if you haven't seen it, you really should.Cet avis était-il utile?
I LOVE THIS DRAMA
This drama was so good. It hits all the right spots if you're looking for a school romance. The reason why I didn't give it a 10 is because the story felt a little rushed. A lot of things happen fast and it's hard to wrap your head around it (it might be because I binged). Another reason is that the motives that the characters had were weak, and at times they didn't make much sense for them to act that way. Also, some of the characters were under-developed in my opinion. But still, this drama is a must watch. The characters grow on you and their interactions are so cute! Not to mention season 2 is coming out.Cet avis était-il utile?
I really don't wanna be mean, but at some times I thought that the female actress who plays Shin Sol-i is too old for her character or that the other cast members look too young. To me, it's obvious that she's not the same age as the rest of the cast (since they're supposed to be from the same year) and that bothered me little. But, I do know that she's literally perfect for the role and her smile is really contagious, which is one important aspect of Shin Sol-i. She just appears older.....
The acting was okay.... I mean it's obvious that they're acting/it didn't really feel natural, but I get that vibe from all cheesy dramas. The music on the other hand, BOMB. Sooo cute. It added so much to the drama and I couldn't help but smile when I heard the music coming in.
I won't be able to make a comment on if the Chinese version is better, since I didn't watch it. Although Shen Yue (who plays "Shin Sol-i" in the Chinese version) is really a sweet person, so check out the original drama too.

umm... I kinda want to study law now?
Guys it was really really good. I just finished watching and like I can't even express it right now.I will organize the positives and negatives into points and then go into more detail.
Positives:
- the story is bomb
- evidence isn't always "by chance"
- the characters are likeable
- you can emphasize with the characters
- the drama is almost separated into sections
- it is sassy
- it makes you feel smart
- the music is great
- humour and seriousness at the right times
- somewhat realistic
- not cheesy
- you might learn something about the law (Korean law)
- good actors/casting
- it makes you want to study law
Ok so the story is very good. If you've watched "Class of Lies" it kind of reminded me of that, but in "Class of Lies" a lot of the evidence was found by chance. In this drama the teachers and students actually looked into the cases and proved a lot of evidence instead. That I liked, because the students kind of got better at doing it as the drama continued and there was some character development in that department. On top of that, the drama is based off/the main characters are the members of the study group. Everyone in the study group is quite different from the other, which makes it interesting to watch them together.
It's also easier to develop a favourite character, which personally, I think is very important. While watching the drama, it might not seem obvious, but the drama had sections for a couple of the study group's members. You'll see what I mean, but during those sections, you learn a lot about one certain character.
Now, the contents of the drama is also great. It has the right amount of sass, humour, seriousness, cuteness and sadness. Of course since it is a drama about law, it is mostly serious with hints of the other components. An important thing to note is that it was rather realistic. Occasionally I will catch a drama that is serious, but not really realistic. I would say that this drama is pretty realistic because all the evidence and clues make sense, although it'd be quite rare for what happened in this drama to happen in real life. To add on, the music is perfect. There aren't many lyrics, but when there are they're very simple. I liked that factor because I always picture a very academic place to be minimalistic. They also use simple things like heaving breathing as background music. Despite the music being simple, it is always freaking stuck in my head and I literally repeat them to myself all the time.
A couple bonuses is that you might learn something about the law. I believe that the staff and cast did their part of the research on Korean law. I think that the legal lines and some of the cases are real, but don't quote me on that. I loved the casting and I thought that everyone was fit to the role they were given. A random thing is that it might make you interested/want to study law. Ngl it low-key happened to me....
Negatives:
- they talk fast (maybe I'm just slow at reading)
- you have to remember a lot of names/law terminology to minimize confusion
- easy to get lost
- a lot to process
Ok not many negatives, I promise it won't be that long lmao. So, I thought that they talked fast and I had to go back to read the subtitles. It is a negative, but I understand because I would imagine that lawyers speak faster. This also might just be that I'm a slow reader. Another thing is that there's a lot of people's names to remember. I would suggest to know them by heart because their relationship to one another could get complicated and everything will be easier once you match the names to the faces. However, it is not something I would change because then it would affect the complexity of the case. It was just a little hassle that's all. Now, other factors when watching a rather complicated drama like "Law School", is that it is also much easier to get lost and there's a lot of information to process. So maybe clear your mind a little bit before starting and pace the episodes.

The con for me is that I didn't really like the couple going on. I won't spoil anything, but that's what I thought. It's hard to say without mentioning their names, but long story short I didn't ship them.
A-Teen was a fun drama that has guests like NCT's Jeno and Jaemin guesting, which I thought was fun to see them act. So if your free right now, you could literally finish it today. So watch it!

watching a 2016 drama in 2021?
The drama was pretty good and it was really sweet. I enjoyed watching it but I have some things I have to say about it.Pros:
- The storyline is good.
I will have to say that it's pretty basic, but it still feels like a breath of fresh air. You could say it's like watching a classic, that kinda vibe.
- The music is a bop
The music was really good and it matched the drama well. It was catchy and whenever it played I would always sing along because that's how much I liked it.
- The casting was good
The casting just felt right, ye know? There isn't anyone where I thought another actor/actress would be more suitable.
- It's easy to develop a favourite character
This is an important point for me, because I live for my favourite characters. All of the characters are unique and different, so it's easy to really like them. As for me, I really like Kang Seo Woo and Kang Hyun Min. Agh, they're so precious.
- It doesn't get boring.
I didn't think any of the episodes were boring at all. I recently dropped a drama, and this show helped me get back into bingeing kdramas.
Cons:
- It is an older drama.
Honestly, this is the only "old style" drama I finished. The quality isn't like the newer ones and it bothered me a little. Although it's from the same year as Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, the quality is so much worse lmao. There's also a ton of flashbacks/the same flashbacks, since that was the style back in the day. In general, it was just more dramatic than the newer dramas.
- I didn't really like the main character.
Eun Ha Won is just so different from me. Idk she didn't irritate me and the actress played the role well, I just didn't like the character. Obviously her being the main character, she held most of the story line.
- The "Fourth Knight".
I assume Lee Yoon Sung was the fourth knight, but it was really unclear and I was confused for like the first half of the drama. Idk maybe I'm just dumb. I also didn't think that his character was all that important and that he didn't have to be a main character.
- My favs didn't have much screen time.
Hyun Min had a lot of screen time at the beginning of the drama, but as the show continued, he got less and less and it made me sad T_T. As for Seo Woo, he literally didn't get any major storyline and he is barely in each episode. His role is more of a support role if anything.
In general, I wouldn't recommend you to watch this drama, but if you've watched all the popular ones these days and you're bored, go ahead and watch it.

FRICK! when I say I managed to cry every single episode I really mean it.... You cannot tell me you weren't emotionally shocked by all the plot twists and the content in each episode. I mean like each episode had so many details and would take a different direction. In general 2 was better than 1, I think. This is why I think so: SEOK HOON AND RONA
I think I live and die for this couple. They definitely had cuter and more moments, which is one of the main reasons I liked 2 more. I will say I definitely cried very hard when he found out she was alive and went to go see her T_T. But also like WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO EAT THE GODDAMN PASTA.... jeez
JENNY BECAME A HOMIE
There was some serious character development in Jenny that I absolutely loved. I didn't really like her before because she seemed like she didn't really have her own opinion and that she just went with what everyone else did. She then strayed away from the Hera palace kids and became Rona's friend. I didn't like that she didn't understand/got mad at Rona for what her mom did and that it was her fault that her mom was in prison. Even so, if she didn't react that way it would seem "weird" since she's so close with her mom. Speaking of her mom, their cute relationship got deeper from Ma Ri's job getting exposed and I felt a stronger connection between the two.
seok kyung
I always really liked the twins, but seok kyung changed a lot in this season. I think she voiced out her opinions even more and expressed what she wanted to. We also got to see a softer and more emotional side of her when she met up with her mom again. The end was really cute when she helped Rona unpack her things and when she stood up for her against Min Hyuk and Jenny. Also apparently she cut her hair because no one (her mom) was there to tie it for her..... that made me sad every time I saw her. Seok Kyung also played a more important role. In season 1 it was obvious that among the twins Seok Hoon had a bigger role. But in season 2 she used her own ways to play around with Cheon Seo Jin and collected her own information.
DR.HA
he is one of my favourite characters. I ached for him because his life got so much more difficult in season 2. Like someone help this man he needs a therapist or smth. The only thing I'm confused of is when/how did he survive when Dan Tae threw him into the water... like WTF. But his and Yoon Hee's dramatic entrance at the wedding will forever be iconic. I'm so happy he chose right in the end. AND SINCE WHEN WAS HE RONA'S DAD.
there's so many other things that make the penthouse superior like the music, acting, casting, guests, I could go on forever but I ain't gonna be here typing all day so that's all I'll write. I can't wait for season 3 someone get me another tissue box.
