This show is above your average sci-fi show, gracefully entwining the elements of suspense and romance. The story pace is always thrilling and keep you on edge, making you want to watch more and more. Some things were beyond belief as we have never seen an advanced AI ever, but since it's fiction, who is to stop them from pulling a full frontal TERMINATOR in the show.
Story- The story is very well executed. It has a beautiful yet unconventional love story. If you like to think beyond what you have seen and have an open and broad mind for imagination, you will love the story line. The story is well written and I love how they made the characters more accepting about unconventional things than people are in real life. After all, these stories and shows set a benchmark for people's behavior in real life.
Acting- Seo Kang Joon is just brilliant. To portray two diverse, poles apart character traits in one show is something to commend about. His brilliant acting made me think of Human Shin and Android Nam Shin 3 as two different people, even when they were together in one frame. He playes the character of the robot so effortlessly and innocently that I rooted for his happy ending rather than anyone else's. I cried a couple of times when Namsin 3 was sad that his mother was concerned about Human Sin and not him. And I never thought I would sympathies with an android character ever. As much as I loved his robot character, i equally hated his human character.
Music- The music is passable and some songs are pretty good.
Rewatch value- I would definitely watch it again for Seo Kang Joon, if not for anyone else.
Overall- It's a must watch if you are looking for a good sci-fi show but are okay with a little suspense and romance.

This depiction is not entirely true and I am glad I saw it and didn't go by what others said.
Although the other characters have a good story line going on, it in no way overpowers the main lead.
Some reviewers mentioned how the romance between the main characters was almost negligible and only developed in the end. This is true, but in no way is this damaging the show. Suho's character is a narcissistic person who is rude and doesn't care about others, so it's obvious that he will realize his feelings not in the 2nd episode, not in the 11th, but towards the end.
The love story between the two is pure love, one is trying to compensate for the love he lost a few years ago, one is still struggling to figure out what he feels because he knows what happened to him the last time he fell in love. They didn't fall in love instantly and spent the entire show trying to fight off people who are against their love like evil mom or power hungry dad. This love story was a little close to reality because we do sometimes realize our love a little too late.
I honestly think the negative comments are a little too much because the show isn't as bad as people are saying it to be.
As for the supporting cast, I loved how the show focused on the life struggles of Mi So and Do Jin. They not only looked cute together but this was among the few supporting story line that I did not want to skip.
As for Suho's acting that people seemed to be so disappointed with, the man is supposed to act like an emotionless robot who doesn't care for people around him and only thinks about himself. He is a human robot who feels nothing and I think he did it quite brilliantly.
I personally liked the entire show and I saw all the episodes to the end.

Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo

This Korean adaptation was not liked by a lot for its end but despite being a fan of happy endings, I think the conclusion to this was not only heartbreaking, but extremely beautiful, sad, nevertheless. I don't think I would have been this moved by the story if it did indeed have a typical happy ending.
To remember that Wang So, despite all his hardships, became the king only to lose the only thing that mattered to him in the entire world, still tears me apart. I cried for a week after I finished watching this show because that's how strong its impact is.
His character is written so well that you can't help by root for him from the very beginning. His character is seen to have developed and matured the most among all others.
STORY- The plot is very intriguing and keep you hooked with the greed of just ONE MORE EPISODE until you finish watching all in one go. And then you want more.
MUSIC- This show has one of the best musics I have seen in K Dramas.
ACTING- All the characters are top notch but Lee Joon Gi strikes out. Also, you cant help but fall in love with Byun Baek Hyun's innocent character.
REWATCH VALUE- I would place it pretty high because over the past 6 months of first watching this show, I have already seen it 3 times thus far.
If you want to cry your heart out, definitely give this a try. I might sound sadistic, but sometimes, shows like these act as a trigger for releasing burdens that have been cooped up for long.
For me, Moon Lovers is one of the greatest things I have ever seen in my life.

Nam Goong Min. That's all. That's all you'll remember when you are done watching this show. The brilliant portrayal by Nam Goong Min of a psychopathic murderer who is not only a narcissist, but also someone who has no empathy or guilt of his actions is so on point and perfect that you will hate the actor more than the character.
The story is quite fresh and unique and the twists are pretty well executed. One would except a certain thing and the show would take a completely different turn and stun the audience. It does get a little boring in the middle, but it soon gathers the pace. The story has a happy ending with respect to the justice served, however if you're looking for a happy and romantic ending for the main lead, you would be disappointed. Since the story is mostly related to crime and revenge, do not look for your typical romantic angles here.
The end, though not very satisfying, did justice to the story but still left me with a lot of questions about the aftermath of the story.
If not for anything else, do watch the show because of Nam Goong Min.

Everything about Goblin is set so right that you can never regret watching and rewatching and rewatching it again.
Story- one of the best fantasy stories you will ever come across. It is not only beautifully set, but moves forward with a wonderful pace, blending both past and present stories together. The story of Goblin is such that you want never want it to end. The funny moments will have you in splits and the sad one will rip your heart into pieces.
Acting- tremendous. Every actor is on spot with their acting but Kim Go Eun is particularly brilliant. Her playing a teenager and a mature character is so well put that you will actual believe there's a time gap.
Music- OH MY GOD. I have each track of Goblin and I listen to it almost always. The music adds more value to the show.
Rewatch value--I've already seen it over 7 times. No matter what show I watch, I always end up going back to this one.
Overall- without even thinking about it, go watch it and you won't ever regret.

My Love from the Star

Do Min Joon (Kim Soo Hyun) who is an alien has been stranded off on earth since decades. He has led a relatively low key life, never drawing too much attention towards himself and his alien powers. This has not only kept him away from the public eye, but has also made him lead a pretty lonely life. He misses his home and wants to go back to his own planet especially because there is nothing tying him to stay on earth. Enters Chun Song Yi (Jun Ji Hyun), an eccentric and lively top rated actress whose life is always displayed out in the public with not a single moment of privacy. Despite all that, she is extremely lonely at heart. When the two meet, spark fly and despite the denial of the obvious chemistry between the two, the come close to heal each other's loneliness.
The story is set with a comical background with some heavy moments. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry and it will make you wonder about a lot of things.

First of all, Gu Hye Seon looks too old to be a student and Lee Min Ho looks more like her nephew than her boyfriend.
Secondly, the acting was OKAY and just OKAY.
There are some good layers to the story especially the friendship that stood the test of time and space but apart from that, there is nothing new or particularly something that we haven't seen before.
The numbers of cliches are nauseating and at one point, I could predict scene by scene what was about to happen.
Kim Hyun Joong's acting is commendable and Lee Min Ho is pretty good too.
The number of episodes are a little too much and the story could have easily wrapped up in 20 episodes.
The show has some great comic scenes and some emotional scenes (especially the one shot in the basketball court).
Overall, it is a passable show that can definitely be watched once and enjoyed. I wouldn't watch it again though.

After beating around the bush for a good amount of 1 year, I finally decided to give this show a go. What started off as a good experience, left me agitated for having to waste 16 precious hours of my life I probably won't ever get back.
What I disliked about this was the fact that there was whatsoever NO character development for the main leads, especially Jung So Min's character. The woman remained a spoiled child to the very end. Every character went through a good transformation and even signs of positive transformation were seen for Kim Hyun Joong's character. But they just probably forgot that the actress needs to mature with age so as a compensation added her career dream in the last second episode.
I hated how she had next to none self respect. The fact that she relentlessly pursued the lead with no ounce of dignity was annoying to a murderous rage. Despite the cold treatment by Baek Seung Jo and after crying for like 15 seconds, she went back to being a rug for the main lead.
I have never seen such a weak female lead in any show and it enrages me that she was shown as a support to the male lead's career aspirations.
I could have easily given it a miss had I known the show continued her childishness to the very end.

I tried to drag the show on but i irrevocably dropped it after 15th episode.
The lead characters just did not know how to act. Lee Dong Wook may be a celebrated actor, but all he is good at is standing still and staring with cold expressions. Jive him one hint of true emotion and he screws up. And he really cant cry on screen. Every time he teared up, it looked fake and forced. As long as he was acting like a col blooded murderer, he was fine. The moment he starts softening up, his character lost all charms.
Lee Da Hae has gone through so many surgeries that she is just incapable of producing emotions from her face. All she did in the show was whine and annoy TF out of me. Even though her character was immature, it shows that her personality lacks charm and that is why it was difficult to even connect to her character. Other actresses have a certain flair of their personality in their characters that make us like them. But Lee Da Hae was just trying too hard to be cute, which was disastrous. There was not a single moment in all the episodes that I watched, that I wanted to empathize with her. Even when she was doing good in the story, I was annoyed by her.
This was a wastage of time for me and I am glad I dropped it.

It's creepy and should not be normalised
The fact that so many people find this stalkerish behaviour "cute" is problematic in itself. The obsession the MC has is very concerning and he should be locked up at a mental facility for the things he does and has 'in his room'.This obsessively borderlines on serious mental health issues and it should not be normalised under any circumstances. There is nothing cute or adorable about a guy being so obsessed with someone he hasn't talked to to begin with. Each character is dumber than the other and the dumbest and creepiest of all is the lead.
