I have recently totally and completely thrown myself into the world of Asian pop/drama culture. My mom, being Chinese, had always watched dramas when cooking or eating dinner, but I thought they were the stupidest things ever created. Then, I saw My Splendid Life (Chinese remake of Shining Inheritance). The next thing I knew, Jerry Yan led me to Meteor Garden, then Hana Yori Dango (blew my flaming mind away, by the way) and finally the world of kdramas with Boys Over Flowers, which gave me heartburn. (I'm surprised I got through that after the masterpiece of HYD.) Good thing I hit City Hunter from there on-bless your beautiful, emotion-packed face, Lee Min Ho, and the rest is drama history.
