This drama is similar in that they both deal with hearing and non-hearing relationships. "Kimi no Te ga Sasayaite Iru" is different in that our main character was always deaf, however you have that same challenge in that your main characters have to figure out how to accept each others differences and love regardless.

Both are a guessing game. In Reply 1997 you are guessing the husband and in Secret Seven you are guessing the Secret admirer. Both also feature 90s music. Reply 1997 is more serious, while SS is more like a light hearted game.

Similar dynamics. Boy and girl live in same house. Boy is more academically successful and tutors girl. Girl loves boy and doesn't know if boy likes her. Crazy parents and friends. Upside: Attention, Love has less annoying characters in my opinion.

Same lead actress dealing with first love and misunderstandings. Back to the 90s includes time traveling while Crazy Little Thing Called Love is a bit more realistic.

Both have same female lead actress and tell the story of her character becoming friends with a guy who she at first did not like or understanding. She eventually gains feelings for them also.

"Cafe. Waiting. Love" is more of a romance fantasy, while "Our Times" is a slice of life romance. "Out Times" is better in my opinion.

Both lead women are a bit hung up on old loves but come to find new love with men 7-10 years younger than themselves. They also struggle with the age differences, but find the age doesn't matter in the end. Both happy and fluffy, tad bit of angst in there too.

Both movies are about first loves from high school that started as friendships. Both male lead characters become close with the girls even though they aren't consider "popular girls". Because of those friendships/crushes, the female lead characters grow in beauty and confidence. They remember their first loves fondly and hope to see them again.
