I have been *somehow* following and watching both in dramas and movies so there’s no doubt about their acting capabilities.
I’m not really a BL anime or drama fan but this drama is a must watch! It really made me smiling and squealing all throughout the series. There's also some scenes that made me tear up. For me, it's a heartwarming and wholesome BL drama.
Before I forgot, it’s nice to see Unjash Kojima in a drama.

It has been a while since I watched a Johnny’s junior drama.
I felt that 30 minutes air time is so short but the writers and staff made each episode compact and satisfying.
It may be the first dramas for some of them so, this is a good start! Just a cute high school themed drama suited for their personality. Hamada Takahiro’s teacher drama, he’s so laid back and a very cool teacher – it makes me want a teacher like him, I envy them! T____T
P.S.: It’s my bb Yoshinori’s first drama, it makes me so proud. >w<
Final thoughts:
The drama is so funny and I felt it as something refreshing because it has been a while since I laughed out loud.

I love how they portrayed the role and Dori taking on a whole new level in his acting career!! I have watched a few of Dori’s dramas and movies and for me, this is the best… so far. What I mean is that he had portrayed others in a good way but for me, this is the best drama that I’ve watched and Dori’s the leading man!
Meanwhile, the name Yoshimoto Miyu sounds new to me but apparently, I’ve already watched two of the dramas she had appeared in and I tend not to focus on other characters that much so, I didn’t even noticed her. *sorry* But in here, she’s the main character and she had studied it so well. Although there are others who doesn’t really agree for her to be the lead of such mature drama but for me, she did well. I love how she battled her conscience in some episodes!
Mizuta Koki is as sweet, gentle and naive-looking guy just how I see him as a person. I couldn’t see anyone who would fit that role other than him.
And of course, Aizawa Rina. I love how she portrayed this two-faced sly bitch. It’s on a different level from her role on Kurofuku Monogatari which is sweet and innocent.
Final thoughts:
This is the best romance drama that I’ve watched… again, so far. It tackles different kinds of love in a realistic way. We all yearn for the love and attention of those that’s special to us. And how love can hurt others and change them into someone else.

The four young men gave a refreshing look on the story. Nagase Ren’s acting is flawless and his smiling face is radiantly shining. Kimura Takumi’s eyes aren’t there without a reason – I need to justify this (even just once!).
Kuroshima Yuina. The moment she made her appearance, I kept on thinking that she really looks familiar. It took me a while before I realize. orz
Final thoughts:
I really like the story a lot.
One thing that I’ve learned is that there are lots of people involved in one flight.
P.S.: Kuroshima Yuina has now been paired in another Johnny’s idol. xDD

This is one of the movies that I never get tired on watching (yes, it’s true! I’ve watched it for nth time).I may spit the same thoughts from my Gokusen 3 review so, I’ll try and tell something different.
The opening scene wherein the 3 female teachers finally had their overseas vacation is so funny because they got their home plane hijacked as soon as it landed on the airport. Yankumi’s hot blooded attitude towards the hijackers made her appear on the national TV. XD
Tamamori Yuta as the leader of the new class 3D, he showed his bad ass attitude and I love it!! I’ve always seen him as this bad boy since I’ve first watched his cameo on the Gokusen Graduation SP. His friends are merely shadows and it’s the first because their screen time was compact into the movie so, it’s really really short. I didn’t even noticed that it was Kaku Kento all along. orz
The past students from season 1 and 2 had also appeared, it made me teared up (especially when Oguri Shun had appeared).
P.S.: Kamenashi sensei is so cute especially when he’s smiling. :)
Final thoughts: This is the end of Yankumi’s antics, I honestly miss her right now and I hope she’ll come back for another series of Gokusen. I’m still hoping~

This time, his role is a talkative neet who never fails to annoy his older sister. Seeing him talk so much made me laugh so much. It’s very different from the past works (dramas and movies) that I’ve watched, it’s new and refreshing.
I have a confession, I love Koike Eiko. Hihi. She’s one of my favorite Japanese actresses. In this drama, she showed her strong-willed personality that contradicts Toma’s laid back personality.
Final thoughts: I just finished watching this (yesterday) and I feel like missing Mitsuru’s talkative mouth already. Huhu. [this review is written on my tumblr blog december 2019]

This is a really great drama that will keep you on the edge of your seats. The portrayal of the characters is great and cringy.
I also have this thought “how come people doesn’t even change after getting out of prison?” because I thought that maybe when a convicted person got out of prison, they had change and I don’t know if I’m wrong.
Nakama Yukie is well known for her dramas and for those who isn’t even following her, this is one of her great works! You can also see the contrast between her character here and her character from Gokusen.

I’m not a fan of Nakajima Kento but I sure have watched some of his works mostly out of curiosity and because I’m following certain actors that appears alongside him – yeah, guilty, I know.
As the title says: “Kurofuku Monogatari”, literally Story of a Black Uniform.
It’s a story how a man who failed twice at an entrance exam on a medical school (should probably say thrice though) and during his confusion, he ended up meeting a hostess and how he ended up working on a cabaret club instead of taking the exam.
I totally am not aware of the plot until I’ve watched it.
I also learned a few terms that they are using on this kind of work.
I have also watched an interview about a host a few months ago prior to watching this drama so, I somehow got the gist of what the job is like (and I knew a few who are in this kind of work).
Here I thought that because of this drama, Nakajima Kento learned how to play with his words that he uses for his fan service. Hahahaha. But I guess it’s just me who thought about it. XD
Final thoughts:
IT IS different from Ouran High School Host Club THAT’S IT.

At first, I only thought of radio technicians or radiologist as someone who only does x-ray of patient but in this drama, it showed me how the team played a very important role in a hospital.
Also, it’s refreshing to see or watch Hirose Alice (Hirose Suzu’s older sister). I’ve first watched her on Gin no Sagi: Silver Spoon but now, it’s the first time watching her in a major role like this. It nice to see her again!
And before I forgot, my cute pet (a.k.a Nobuyuki Suzuki). Hahahahaha. He’s such a cutie doctor!!

Recently, Yuma has been active on stage plays so I really looked forward to this drama after the announcement.
Yuma’s acting in this drama gave me chills. I remember crying because of his acting. >_<
And since it’s Yuma’s first TV drama after years, I definitely saw how much he has grown in terms of acting.
The story was excellent overall and also intense. I won't forget how it gave me chills and made me cry... a lot. The casts complemented each other too! It was short (6 episodes) but really worth it!

This drama is… iconic and funny. Although this is only a SP episode, I wished for it to be a series because the story is interesting and I believe that it could still go a little farther than a single episode. Although there's a 7 episode drama for this after two years, I actually looked forward to see more of Ochiai Makoto.
Final thoughts:
That iconic bastard, Tanaka Kei. :P

The idea of giving Sano Reo the lead role is kinda funny to me. But then, I looked forward on how he’ll portray such a cute and adorable role of Natsuki. I actually kept on smiling… A LOT.
Final thoughts:
The three guys really complemented and supported Sano Reo in this movie. I love how they choose the cast for this movie.

This series is the third installment of my favorite teacher drama and Nakama Yukie never fails to make me smile from ear to ear. Hearing her wise words or phrases inspires me.The story is new to me because this time, they had two people competing for “who will be the king or ruler of the school” title. Seeing their clashing personalities and how it’ll develop into a bond is something to look forward to!
Waki Tomohiro, that classic chubby blonde hair guy also comes back to this series too! I love his cute antics and he’s now a father on this series – it somehow made me feel old as if I’ve been watching him ever since. Lol.

This is one of the greatest masterpiece that I’ve watch. I am not actually good at this kind of thing but because I’ve watched this movie, I thought of making a movie review about it.The movie is based on a true life story of a Japanese doctor that was made into a song entitled “Kaze ni Tatsu Lion” popularized by Sada Masashi in 1987.
The story revolves on the life of a Japanese doctor Shimada Koichiro (Osawa Takao) who was deployed to a research facility in Kenya, Africa by a university hospital. The idealistic doctor, Koichiro was then requested to assist at Lokichiogo Field Hospital. When he and his colleague arrive at the hospital, they were surprised by the number of war casualties that is brought in the field hospital. He stayed at the hospital for a month but then he requested to stay there longer to help. Then, there’s a newly dispatched nurse from Japan named Kusano Wakako (Ishihara Satomi) was then sent to Lokichiogo to assist Koichiro.
One day, Koichiro met Ndung’u; a wounded boy who’ve fought in the war. Aside from physical scars, Ndung’u also bears emotional scars which was then later revealed on the movie. Ndung’u was then given by Koichiro a nickname Miche’ (short for Michaelangelo). Koichiro gave that nickname to Ndung’u because of the drawing that was showed to Koichiro (it’s a portrait of Koichiro).
There are some fillers on the story, which at first I didn’t knew where it came from. A story of a woman named Akishima Takako (Maki Yoko) was then inserted and also a backstory of Koichiro’s colleague and his wife who is Koichiro’s classmate during high school. At first, I didn’t knew who is Takako and as the story progresses, I found out that she is the girlfriend that Koichiro left in Japan.
On Christmas, everyone was celebrating and then Santa Claus appeared. HAHA. The appearance of Santa Claus wasn’t something everyone didn’t expect, even I didn’t expect that a Santa would appear out of nowhere. HAHA. He then distributed gifts for the kids and the last one who got a gift was Ndung’u. Everyone was surprised by what Koichiro had given Ndung’u and from then, Ndung’u had revealed the emotional scar that his bearing – this part of the story made me cry for the emotional scars that the boy was bearing has been opened to Koichiro.
On the night I had watched this movie, I really had to stop from time to time because of the external noise made by our drunken neighbour. I was only watching it from my phone and the headset wasn’t working so, I found it hard to watch the movie. As the story progresses, I was so enthusiastic to finish it in one go.
The portrayal of Osawa Takao was really superb; there really is no doubt that he really immersed himself into the role. As what I’ve read from the internet, he was the one who convinced the singer Sada Masashi to make the song into a novel and now a movie. Meanwhile, the actress Ishihara Satomi’s acting does not fall behind. Her portrayal of Wakako is something that amazed me. I first watched her at "From 5 to 9" (together with Yamashita Tomohisa) and thought that she may be something – which is now, I’ve proven.
I think the best lesson this story has to offer was how a person you meet can change your life. Just like how Koichiro’s life was changed by Ndung’u and how Ndung’u’s life has been changed by Koichiro. There will be a time that you’ll meet a person that’ll have an impact on you – this person may or may not change you.
The ending of the story has also some twist because it contains Koichiro’s back story while the song “Kaze ni Tatsu Lion” was played. The back story was something I didn’t expect and it made me knew what inspired this idealistic doctor to stay in Africa amidst the conflict.
