Where to begin? I really loved this at the beginning. I love the actors/actresses, and the story seemed to be different than most which is always a plus. However, things went downhill as many dramas tend to do, and this one in particular decided to use every single cliche there is in the world of dramas. Oooh the cliches....I could hardly bear it. There's doing a cliche the right way, as to not annoy the watchers too much, and there is overdoing it to the point of asking yourself, "Is this seriously happening?" Don't get me wrong, I love cheesy dramas and I love a good romance, and this almost had it all until it continued to mess it up when it didn't need to be touched! Trot Lovers was on the right path to being a perfect romance in my opinion, but it just didn't reach its potential. I wouldn't let the negative reviews stop you from watching it, but proceed with caution and brace yourself for a drama filled with cliches. If you don't mind those, then you're golden, go ahead and proceed! Overall I did enjoy it, but I did get very annoyed towards the end. The couples are adorable and lovable and the story is mediocre.
