DON'T WATCH!! ABSOLUTELY TRIGGERING, GROSS, EW NO!!
trigger warning: SA, the whole drama has SAI have watched many bad dramas, but this gets the crown for the absolute worst drama I have ever watched. So many people have praised this drama and it really goes to show how many people on MDL love SA. I get that people have their preferences with what they like to watch... but homie literally went up and REPEATEDLY SAed the other lead when he told him visually, physically, and verbally that he did not like it. I HAD to drop it after episode 11 (I believe), because that's really when the SA got so bad that I felt physically sick.
I just need to let whoever is reading this know that the SA really, truly, is super bad. I read a comment before watching that there was SA and I was confused thinking it was like a bad guy or something, but NO it's literally with the two leads as in the couple and it's romanticized in a creepy, sickening way that repeatedly happens! This drama will make you feel absolutely sick.
All of this being said...I don't get how someone could enjoy this drama. Regardless of the SA, the two leads don't have good chemistry. They pretty much hate each other and I don't get what's supposed to entertaining here besides the... SA. That's not entertainment. Moreover, the acting is mediocre and visually the scenery of this drama is lame. The plot is like eating sand... it's so dry. I genuinely don't get why people have enjoyed his drama.
It's a shame that people like/praise this drama. I hope if you have read this I have persuaded you not to watch it, because this drama has been one of the biggest let downs I have ever watched and the worst in general.

Recommend, Great Chemistry/Acting, Novel Plot, BUT missing suspense
Acting: Super good. Really not complaints here. I think the main leads especially did a good job. First (as on par with Not Me) did such an incredible job conveying emotions and the struggles of the character, Akk… it really helped where the story at times was lacking. Khao, who I last saw in Tonhon Chonlatee (the worst drama ever) has totally improved and not that he wasn’t good at acting before, it is clear that with a better plot line he definitely can portray all the necessary emotions and feelings. The two together did really well and I loved the dynamic they had, especially how assertive Khao/Ayan was. As for the second couple, I didn’t feel the chemistry as much but maybe that was just me… not sure though!Plot: It was a novel plot line, very well portraying a school with a struggling system that is incredibly harsh and in need of a progressive movement. I loved how nicely mental health issues were addressed, while a difficult piece, the plot did touch those areas well. The plot twists also were good. However, I did find myself bored at times which really saddened me because everything was laid out well for this drama: it just need more suspense or something.
Overall: for sure not the best, but still worth a watch! If you do check it out and like it I’d definitely recommend Not Me— heck even if you don’t like it, because it’s such a good drama that First (Akk) is also in!

Zero chemistry
Super “mid” showI think this would have been such a cute drama if there actually was chemistry. So many dramas I’ve watched people are like “there’s no chemistry”, but here it REALLY warrants it. I don’t think the two actors had even high-fived before the filming of this, because there seems to be like visible disgust with any sort of contact.
Combined with the fact that overall the acting is okay, it’s just the chemistry is so off, the overall experience just goes down hill severely.
I would watch shows like semantic error instead, if you have nothing else to watch then maybe, but it’s really not worth it.

Incredible. Just incredible.
I find this more terrifying and suspenseful than any other horror movie. My heart was racing every second and I definitely get why so many people liked it.It’s so unique and makes you think/feel so much for each character— whether that be hatred or sympathy. I loved it and don’t think it’s overhyped AT ALL. People have just too high of standards or something because this was incredible.
However, I don’t think I could ever watch it again, but it just has that impact where you don’t need to.

100000/10 the Standard S-Tier Whenever I Rank BLs
Watched this when it came out and I still think about it & rewatch all the time!Everything is perfection, the suspense, the unique plot— especially the way it deals with social justice, the acting, EVERYTHING.
I love it so much that I’ve watched it more than I can remember. Offgun have incredible chemistry and are such good, talented actors who make it look so effortless and real. I liked the second couples as well and everyone’s acting/ chemistry was so good— don’t think people hype up the WHOLE ENTIRE CAST as much as they should :)
This review doesn’t have much structure 😂 Just overall this drama is the best out there and you should definitely watch it. It will always be the standard for me!

Rewatched it & Still So Good!! 10/10
I just watched the movie (basically same thing) & it was so good to see this drama again!Plot: perfection. It’s so simple yet, engaging and novel. I like how it’s a decent lengthened plot line so you can binge it all the way through in a day if you wanted and you don’t feel like there’s too much missing. I really hope for season two once Seoham (who plays Jaeyoung) is out of the military!
Acting: I love their acting and chemistry sooo much—I really think it’s some of the best out there and it’s just perfection!!
Overall: This is my favorite Korean BL after watching MANY. You need to watch it and you can thank me later before you go watch it again :) haha

cute drama & worth the watch, but many plot holes
This drama is a tad overhyped in the comments…Story: it was dry at parts and the relationship backstories where kind of confusing, because there where a lot of flashbacks and plot holes. The difficulties they have with their relationships felt so thrown in to make the drama longer. There was a lot of symbolic moments and flashbacks… it got kinda cheesy after a while. Also, the main couple both worked as divorce lawyers and that part I found just a tad dull at times. The ending also felt pretty elaborate and I skipped most of it as I felt like the drama was already to a close enough.
Acting: Honestly what saved this drama. Both couples had good chemistry and I enjoyed watching their relationships progress. While there where cliche parts, overall it was so wholesome and the way the actors portrayed everything made it okay. There’s this really cute girl, Ling Ling, and she made the drama just a 100 times cuter!
Music: pretty good. I actually kinda liked the song.
Rewatched: I feel like it’s hard to rewatch dramas to begin with, but I definitely say this one is worth at least one if you have the time.
