I have been a fan of K drama for about 4 years (from 2012) and slowly after that I started getting into K pop and then J drama to Chinese dramas to Taiwanese dramas. I have since been a huge fan. 

My Top Five Korean Dramas currently are:

1. Jewel in the Palace (Dae Jang Geum)

2. Empress Ki

I loved Ha Ji Won in this drama, she was so fierce and strong. I also loved the main couple and the story was so captivating. I want to make this my number one on this list but I felt that Jewel in the Palace was a bit better. 

3. Queen Seon Duk

This drama is also as you can see a historical drama. I absolutely love a good historical drama and this is my third favorite historical drama. I loved the character Bidam in this drama.

4. Jumong, Prince of the Legend

I was a bit hesitant about watching this drama because it had a lot of episodes but I totally regretted not watching it sooner. It was amazing. Loved it!

5. My Name is Kim Sam Soon

I watched this drama when I was bored and just wanted something soft and refreshing to watch but I would not have guessed that I would love it so much. You should give it a try, you will not regret watching it.

My Top Five Japanese Dramas are:

When I watch a Japanese drama it will most likely be action, detective, mystery, suspense or romance but I rarely go for comedy.

1. LIAR GAME 

This was my first Japanese drama and my favorite. I loved the second season as well.

2. Ouroburos

My favorite detective, action, suspense, romance Japanese drama. Amazing. Finished it in one day. I loved the relationship between the two male leads.

3. Keizohu 2:Spec also known as Spec: First Blood

This was my second Japanese drama and my third favorite Japanese drama. Adored it! I also loved the sequel and the movie that came after. 

4. Nobunaga Concerto

This was my very first historical Japanese drama. It was really enjoyable and refreshing. I loved the couple in the drama.

5. Kurosagi

My favorite revenge Japanese drama.
