Okay, this one honestly lived up to the hype...
I’ve been awaiting this series since it was announce! I have no idea where that rating is coming from, but that first episode was perfection. It perfectly set up the dynamics between the characters as well as the plot. The acting was PHENOMENAL! War and Yin’s acting, chemistry, and passion are unmatched. The action sequences in the first website were wellplanned and actually looked like real action sequences. Each character has an awesome back story that I can’t wait to see how they’re developed. War is going to be so fantastic in this role since he has the emotional range to play this complex character. Yin is truly going to shine in this role as well, he is the perfect choice for a
character that wanted to be good but due to circumstances out of his control he can’t be. I cannot wait to see what is it come in the next episodes.
Completed Series Review:
War and Yin at their finest with this one! Went into this so excited and it did not disappoint. I am a really big fan of War and Yin, and their performance in this show blew me away. They put everything they had into these performances and their talent and passion really showed. I was hooked from episode one and it kept my interest every week.
The whole cast was spectacular, even though we didn't get a full send on Prom and Mark, what we were given on them was so great and fingers crossed they'll do another show together and actually get together.
The ending of Episode 12 really took me by surprise, I wasn't expecting that the ring boss stole didn't have any power and the Four Horsemen were basically playing with him the whole time. I thought that was really cool and unexpected. I think one of my favorite moments of the show was during the hangman scene where Jack chooses to stay with Joke when he might get blown up. It is so cheesy, they apologize, but I just really like that when they both think they're about to die they're just kissing, like nothing else matters but them and being together one last time.
Absolutely adore this show and these actors!

Cute start, we’ll see what happens
Honestly, this show can go either way. The first episode was interesting enough and main leads obviously have that crazy eye contact chemistry that Japanese BL have. There’s going to be some sort of miscommunication or just lack of communication, again, that’s seen in most Japanese BLs. But a solid start nonetheless. I’m excited to see how their relationship plays out, even though I’m like pretty sure I know how it’s going to play out. I also feel that Takara is harboring a secret or something heavy, and I’m excited to see what it might be.Cet avis était-il utile?

I so enjoyed watching this show! The plot was fantastic and I was intrigued until the very end. The acting was pretty solid, especially the emotional scenes. The main leads had really great chemistry and I enjoyed the progression of their relationship. The fact that we didn't know how Phob died until later in the show was great because it allowed the watcher to try to figure out what happened to him and be suspicious towards a lot of the side characters. I was not expecting to cry, but cry I did. The play episode was really special and I really felt emotionally invested in Phob and Ben's relationship, which is a true testament to the script as well as the actors because I think they only had like two episodes together. The last episode was absolutely fantastic and had be BAWLING like the last 20 minutes. The ONLY reason this show wasn't a 10/10 was because of the whole unexplained mystery light thing. Was it aliens? Was it a spirit? I guess we'll never know. It was an interesting concept, just wished they had followed through.
I 100% recommend this drama!

OhmLeng make it work it!
I was hesitant with this one at first. I was going to wait until the whole show as up before watching, but Ohm and Leng's chemistry was too hard to resist and definitely carried the show for me. The plot was interesting and I enjoyed the "action" element. I really liked that we actually got to see Leng's character work through his trauma and seek out help and was honest with the fact that he wanted to do it for someone else. It was super refreshing to see his trauma not just magically "fixed" once he and Ohm's character became official. His dad just disappeared in the last episode and I though that was kind of lame since he was a major source of conflict for Leng; he could've had one little scene instead of only being mentioned.Overall, I would recommend this one, but I don't think I would rewatch it. I am excited though and hope Ohm and Leng do another project in the future.

THE ANGST!!
The acting was great! The chemistry between the two actors as ridiculous and I wanted more! The title credits and song are probably the best I’ve seen in a KBL and perfectly capture the mood of the show. I was just a little confused. I don’t know if it was the translation or the script, but I feel like I missed a lot. Like I understood the conflict between the leads and both of their dads. I thought the one dad was in jail, but he sent the oranges (or apples) from not jail….? I also thought the abusive dad was going to show up again but he didn’t, and that was disappointing because I think there needed to be that closure, more than the phone call provided. Would watch again though!Cet avis était-il utile?

PERFECT!!!
This is one of my favorite shows! It was the perfect mix of a cute and romantic coming of age story with like really serious issues. The acting was solid and when I tell you I cried because it was sad but also really freaking cute, I mean I CRIED! This is definitely a slept on one that I wish more people would watch.Cet avis était-il utile?

EarthMix giving EarthMix
Okay, so hear me out real quick! This was one of the first BLs I watched. EarthMix was all over BL TikTok and instagram understandably because they are incredibly talented actors with ridiculous chemistry off screen. So I went into it with super high expectations, but I feel like the chemistry wasn't 100% there as much as it should've been. I feel like the the love Mix has for Earth (and the character) throughout the show, was what carried it for me. NOW, with that being said, Earth brings the chemistry in Our Sky 2.Anyways, fantastic show and plot. Mix absolutely kills it, like the feeling of guilt that he portrays throughout the show is next level and so understated when it needed to be, but then also very clear when it needed to be. I love how Tian and Phupha's relationship builds throughout the show. Was surprised they did such a long time skip, felt that it was a little unnecessary and just a way to move the plot forward without really having the characters talk through their problems, but still cute ending.
Would 100% recommend this show, but be ready to cry!

Can't stop thinking about this one...
As often happens with KBLs, I find myself not 100% liking them the first watch through, but after some time and a rewatch I become obsessed and can't stop thinking about it. This one is no exception. The plot itself is interesting enough, but with this one, the performances really make this show something special. It has a fantasy element that is enjoyable, but I really like how the character get to know each other in the modern world but how they still can't escape their fate. The "bad guy" of the story was also interesting in both timeline, but more so in the modern world one.
I would 100% recommend this one!

Should've kept it as a BL
FANTASTIC ACTING AND STORY! But honestly, would've been way or into it if it stayed as a BL. The chemistry between the two main leads was unreal, and I think the story as a whole would've had more of an impact if they had been together, The acting was so good though! I do feel that the abuse story line dropped off a little quickly, I think it should've followed the characters to the end of the show and something more should'v happened to the dad. Wouldn't re-watch, but would recommend.Cet avis était-il utile?

"Being with people is heavy"
Okay so, do I wish this was longer...? 100%! Do I wish there had been a couple more scenes where Nomura Kota could've shown what a fantastic actor he is? 1,000%! But I have rewatched this twice now (rewatched the last episode a bunch more) and really enjoy it! When I tell you I have replayed the second to last scene repeatedly in my head since I watched it would be an understatement. The emotion, line delivery, and passion are unmatched for me personally. I just wanted more, and I know that's not a valid reason since it's a BL and those are always short, but I still wanted more. Would 100% recommend to anyone, honestly, so good!Cet avis était-il utile?

A little confusing, but the chemistry was unreal
Took me a second to understand the subplots and I don't 100% understand all of it, but the chemistry between the two main leads was so amazing and it was nice to see "kissing" in a Japanese BL where it just a lot of pecking. I wished there were like two more episodes, or the episodes were a little longer to really flesh out and understand Takashi's backstory and family plot.Cet avis était-il utile?

Took a rewatch, but this one grew on me
The first time I watched this show, I liked it but didn't like looove it, but I kept thinking about it and gave it a second shot. For whatever reason, I absolutely loved it!The chemistry between the two main leads was really awesome, love an angsty friends to lover trope. The music was really great, and I liked that it took an espied or two for Im Han Tae to be like yeah okay, I like Han Ba Ram even though you could see it in his eyes like the whole show. I was honestly a little surprised that Im Han Tae wasn't the one to confess, cause man was in love.
My biggest complaint with this show though is that the "bad guy," Sangin, just like disappears. I really liked the conflict with him stealing Han Ba Ram's song and just being a total creep, but when he shows up drunk and is all gross with Han Ba Ram, and then disappears. I just feel that there should've been more of a resolution there or he should've shown up at least one more time. Also, the weird make-out cut scene was a little random in the last episode; like I get the idea, it just felt really random and just like oh okay they're making out now.
But I really liked it and will probably watch again!

A little heavy handed with the trauma, but worth the watch
A solid show but has a rushed ending. I know that we shouldn't complain about the endings of BLs, but like I'm going to anyways. Don't mind a time skip, when it makes sense, and it really did in this show because Jo Tae Hyun needed to heal and grow independently before being in a committed relationship and we love characters that are self-aware, I just felt the chemistry was a little lacking when they actually "got together". The hotel...? scene was cute but I wished there had just been a little more. Don't mind that they didn't kiss, and it makes sense since the two main leads are in the same group, but I don't know how else to explain it, just wanted a little more from the ending.Would 100% recommend though, especially to those who are new to BL or just Korean dramas in general. Solid acting, chemistry, and sad backstories (which we love and appreciate).

But like, why couldn't he sleep?
I really enjoyed the acting and the chemistry between the two actors. The overall conflict was really intriguing I just kept waiting and waiting for them to explain why this dude couldn't sleep any they never did. Like I get that some people just have insomnia, but I jus really wish there had been a reason. I love Korean BLs, like they are literally my favorite, so I get that the episodes are short and there are only six to eight episodes, ten if they're being generous, but this was one that I feel really needed more episodes to really flush out the story.I personally wouldn't re-watch, but it is one I would recommend just because the chemistry between the two leads was giving.

This show came out of nowhere and I am literally obsessed!
I started this show a couple of weeks ago honestly because I didn't have anything else to watch and I am so happy I did. I went into this show with zero expectations but oh my goodness it was so amazing! I really enjoyed that the first couple of episodes were different stories and then they reveal that the main story is focused around the actors who are playing those characters. The emotional range of the main leads was truly amazing and I honestly cried so much. I am so excited to see Top and Mick in more shows and hopefully they are together because their chemistry is insane!Cet avis était-il utile?
