I don’t fully understand what exactly is going on in Gao She De’s life in America, but it seems like he has his hands full. I feel like we get a lot of different hints as to what might be going on for him to stay there for much longer than planned. But we don’t get any definite answers. It’s almost like a teaser for the second season of the series with a few glances into the lives of Zhou Shu Yi and Gao Shi De during their separation. I am a bit disappointed by the fact that a simple misunderstanding and lack of communication seem to be the main conflict both for the special and as a set up for season 2.

It's very confusing though and not a lot of it makes sense. It was definitely not was I expected from the special episode. What happened to special episodes being sweet? And cute?
