Compelling Rendition
My Final review take:
This has been 4 very charming episodes.
The way Yoon Ho grabbed-hugged So Hyun in the rain just striking. Palpitating darling moments, indeed.
This drama definitely has that angst, tension, thrills and a-tinge-of-romance which amped up the whole atmosphere on each scenes. And without any brooding bits, just makes it excitingly fascinating.
My first review take:
Why is it compelling? Because:
First. I am hooked with the music. Brit rock rules! Need the OST tracklist stat! Then again with this type of music tracks, it needs a good match. This drama has it, deserving storyline. It tells a story of a troubled girl. And she is even a pickpocket, for crying sake. Looking for her Dad. And just because she has unsettling mother-daughter relationship with an alcoholic Mum that is, does not justify her action for stealing. It still wrong. But, hey. Life is about planning and options with this case.
Second is the Acting. I just loves it when everybody delivers. So okay, the sweetest treats is still about a nice and kind next door boy. Yoon Ho is so adorable, and he’s the kind with Knights honor soul. The lady with vengeance is HeeJin/So Hyun with all of her ocean eleven mind game. Or is it in a way Sherlock Holmes would go the extra miles. Heroin like her and at nineteenth is a character indeed.
Third. The charm.
Attraction is made without hesitation. Confession is within a heartbeat. And that decoy kiss is just a tad of sincerity away. Bullies is tackled. But the suspense retaliation just puts you on the edge. With only 4 episode, this drama has that subtle approach. Let’s wait the next and final two episode...

The Best on screen couple. Our Galaxy Twosome. THE BEST DRAMA
This is my third review, as I just finished watched all 56 episode. And this drama is DIVINE, absolutely perfect!Watch and rewatched it. And just enjoy the journey. They did justice on the production. So the quality is spectacular.
I missed them already. I am very used of looking out for Tuesday. Expecting anything for my favorite pairing Ling Zisheng and Cheng Shao Shang. I adore their relationship here. Wu Lei and Zhao Lushi you guys leads this drama with ultimate excellence. You both will forever be my favorite onscreen couple.
This drama has everything and it is told with balance. So my earlier review stands legit!
1st Review:
I am in shocked… To think I have seen it all, Chinese drama and historic genre that is. This is so next level experience. An addiction.
Everyone in this drama is such an amazing people. Like, they nailed it this genre. Romance, Bromance and Courtship. I have never been this high on a drama ever since Grey’s Anatomy first released.
Wu Lei and Lushi, they have plenty in the store hidden or perhaps endless. Really can’t think of anyone in this planet would bring ‘live’ to Ling Bu Yi and Cheng Shao Shang, epically perfection. Our Galaxy Couple. I don’t use this word often, but they do mesmerized in all of their scenes. Tears, Laughter, Comedy, Action, Despair and so much more. Just went on and on notable.
I never calls favorites, but I MUST references Ep 37 & 38 worth all my anxiety of waiting for Tuesday to come.
And not just them, the cast is just magnificent in portraying their character. Everyone put justices in it. From maids to King and Queens and Prince and Princess. This is like what drama evolution looks like.
The best serial drama in 2022, I dare say. Their story. Their dialogue. The rendition. It feels similar but up a million notch higher more enchanting. Sometimes it felt like cramming the plot but it stretch in perfect length.
This Part 2 is worth the anticipation. No I don’t fear if next episodes would go south or whatever. It would just mean keeping the balance. Nothing is perfect but perfections.
Cheng Shao Shang is brave. And whenever she seek comfort towards Ling Bu Yi’s (chest, hugs, cuddle), our planet is warm again.
Ling Bu Yi’s stares at Cheng Shao Shang is fiercer than the early days. With extra drips of affection, passion, tenderness and whole-lotta-love. He is very sexy. And scary, well as a General Heroes should be.
Third Prince and Fifth Prince. They have colors. And it’s rainbow and chic.
Although all the Palace girls are mean and shallow. They walk the part and so we can bitch about them later for fun. Just some salt to balance the sweetness dose of lovey dovey scenes.
Let’s be brave with upcoming nasty breakups. Do not worry… I’m sensing the make up session will be all hot and steamy and tears jerking and beautiful… it will be worth the wait.
**** (2nd review) My review after episode 40 & 41:
Never have I seen such an ensemble of cast performs with genuinely good acting quality..
The cinematography is so on point. It’s bleak. It’s rains. It’s never sunny as bright as a sunshine would go. It tends to get cloudy. So where the lights go? Who shines in this drama? The answer to that is : Everyone casted in LLTG. Seriously, all of them shines.
Their costumes tailored for perfection. And the set is just keeps representing it self. It reminded me of how I missed watching colossal movie production. I think the best movie for me was, John Woo’s Red Cliff Part 1 & 2.
I made this second review right after finished watching (and re-watching) Ep 40 & 41:
1. LBY and CSS closeness is on another level. Nothing can beat how they stare at each other. Speak to one another. Stare in each other’s eyes. Kiss and kisses and …. Hugs and holding hands like they’ve owned each other. Truly star crossed lover. Natural and organic with their gestures, dialogues, ad-libs and expressions.
2. The Families. Court and off-court, both are played beautifully with their version of comedy, angst and seriousness. How perfect and imperfect the nobles with their clans issues.
3. ShanJian. I like him, like a lot. Sure he was an arse in the early days. Swag here and there being pretentious and untouchable royal. Then with only these two episodes, he shines to me. He probably has the genuine affection which accepts CSS features honestly. That calm and deep conversations he had with his dear Mother about having crush for CSS and helplessly dotting her even knowing it’s impossible as he got late in the game. As so he thinks.
It is going to be tough love for next week episodes. As the fixation towards this drama keeps building like reading Harry Potter next volume for the first time. Tuesday come soon….

Citius, Altius, Fortius.
Citius!Forget slow pace plot-lines. This is a FAST breathtaking piece. But in very decent portion. Think this, a story of one day in 40-plus episodes. Mastermind of scriptwriting skills is superb.
You won’t turn heads to checked on your phone or grabs more chips. The story will fuse you to stalk on and suspense at all cost. I found it, sublime.
Let’s talk costumes and set. It is so portraying and magnificently bleak with noir scent but has grandeur effect at the same time... history is ancient... and ancient is majestic.
Altius.
Higher value in action scene, war scene, explosives scene, intense scene and surprisingly, bitter-comedic scene.
You’ll get chuckles in catchphrases, yet this is a collosal drama... how smart is that!!!
This drama is on another higher level. It deserves awards.
Dialogues in the drama is so fluid when telling heavy ideas. And complicated bickering between leads is brought to screen strangely light yet in-depth manner. Even though it was describing such a complicated plots. Are the good guys the bad? Will the bad guys turned good? Are we taking sides with the heroes? Are we doubting our heroes?
Each episode builds more story line and takes you on a high. Remember, this is a story of 1 (one) day.
Fortius.
Let’s talk about cast. Jackson Yi, I adore you. Li Bi is how you define strong thoughts. Genius. Fragile in trust. And no one, I mean no one should do it but him. Mr. Jackson Yi.
As for our heroes. Standing ovations, indeed.
Strong casts in this drama brings spectacular aspects which leads the storylines to our tv screens as if we’re watching a masterpiece painting in the works. Colors emerged and shapes develops. All in strong lines and movements. Very defining.
What I get this drama is. Greatness. And wanting for more...

Courting has a new face, and that is Ling Bu Yi
The intro was ghastly and theatrical. It intriguing well, when the sight of General Ling (Wu Lei) stormed in gallantly. I always knew Leo was cold-hot gorgeous, but this just went an upgrade.Starting this drama was some kind of slow pace from episode first to about, fourth. However, definitely not a journey you’d want to missed. Since both leads teased us with their sizzles and mingles.
The era of Han dynasty is always been an adoring picturesque. It is like a magical place in the past. With dim lanterns floating and dangling. Craftsman palaces and mansions with heavy and strong architectural aesthetics. Artisan carriages. Dresses and robes swooping the ground as they took strolls. With jeweled embellished fabrics. And the ornament accessories they wore, simple but lavishly elegant. With gem stones and silver and gold, perhaps copper bedazzled their looks.
Even though the set was tone dark, gray and bleak. Nevertheless, there are whites and reds and savoy-blue striking the daunting ambiences. The music scores moves the scenes and intensify emotions flawlessly.
Contouring their smart and witty dialogues much depths and eloquent. Their acting are passionate and well put altogether. Is almost like it’s their organic conversations.
Tough love is the main theme, well for me it is.
Between Cheng Shao Shang with her fierce Mom. If only it wasn’t the result of 15 years gap of Motherhood absent.
Between Shao Shang and suitor no.1 , obstacles and conditions. Forfeited by the Elders.
Between Shao Shang and General Ling. The missed and heat/hit romancing (*grin). Yet, we are only on Part 1, looking forward of what Part 2 got to offer.
Chemistry 100% legit between Chen Shao Shang and General Ling. Their longing pause. The hugs and gentle strokes. Oozing desires being safely kept.
Ling came on strong, gruesome but having this stealthy allure charms. Don’t be mistaken if he is only hero bystanders. Shao Shang too, being confident and foolish youngster with charming smiles.
The BEST scenes thus far is that confession dynamite at the Palace in front of all court peoples. Among his many valiant gestures. His gazes of smoldering eyes. His just-a-breath-away proximity. All of their scenes made us squealing excitement and clapping for cheers.
I thought Ling was being patience and inclined when it comes to meet his affections toward Shao Shang. It is not, though. He has got his way from the get go.
All General in colossal drama should starts courts or woo the way of the Ling.
With only 3 episode left and no predictions date valid enough for Part 2 being released air, my patience on this is being tested isn’t it 😄 why is the good ones always left us hanging… the mystery of life.

This one beats all odds
And they did it…This is a musical. With dark intriguing background which they managed to described whimsically.
At first glimpse, The Magician is almost presented like the replica of one Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. Owning his theatrical appearances and mysterious exits. However, his magic is the tie breaker. His dark and light seducing words had very fine-tuning each of their utmost complex scenes.
Opulent cinematography which they had created even for the common scene such as at school moments, delivering this mischievous vibes taking us hinted of many perimeters. Netflix has set the bar.
Their stories are bleak but hopeful. It felt like when you reading any of Dickens’s books. Taking you deeper and darker but lighter with a tinging bell sounds of deliverance. It took you laughing unexpectedly, on the edge of your seat calmly or teary eyes unknowingly.
The skill of their musical could take you straight to that theater seat experience which you could’ve been booked. Is like bringing that aura to your very own living room or TV room. Their songs is telling stories and unlike just singing. Expressing heartfelt despair then joy then hatred then all of those explicit facial feelings but in lyrics.
Ji Chang Wook, I applaud you. Sure you are gorgeously handsome styled as this Magician topsy turvy. However your performances here in this drama si spectacular spectacular. Ah Yi’s character has also lifted the tales of this drama like tidal waves. And Hwang In Youp colored his scenes with his convictions which is amazing also.
You must believe in Magic to watch this. Or Not. But for sure. This drama is extravagantly depicted that borderline where reality and imaginary.
This year I have been amazed by how one genre of a movies are no longer defined the movies. Zombie movie could be drama. And musical movie, could be mythical, mysterious, cop-detective, high school and thriller.
Try and watch this production like a blank canvas and it will surprises you…
And Ji Chang Wook here is stunning like back in the days of his Empress Ki.

three lines is all you need
Just finished ep2. And it was amazing.Less is more, and definitely when you do it thoughtfully right it became a great love story.
What loves about the most, is how modest the story started. And surprisingly grand, the confession scene is created. Now, I wished someone had written me a haiku to confess his love. Then again. When you found that person who believes in you and you can reciprocate. Then you found it. Your love story.
Haiku is beautiful. Simple. Natural. Organic. Honest. Sensible. Delightful.
I’d rewatched this and be goofily happy all over again...
***early review
This drama is tricky if you are really trying to understand the haiku parts.
And that is what makes it more fun to watch.
First you read
Second you feel
Third it changes you
Must be great to be Hirose Suzu, to have an acting gig where you get to be eloquent. I just adore her character. From timid to strong, it is an interesting potraying.
These are the times where I have missed so much for traveling abroad. And this drama is like a fresh air of that.
Expected the Unexpected kindness. Expected the Unexpected Luck. Expected the Unexpected chances.

The Best Chemistry Casting and Eloquent Storytelling
Empress and ‘Emperor’ these two is a match. They fulfill each other’s character in the most lovingly intense just by the drawn of their eyes. It is so raw and yet solid. How they moves with each other is so organic. Their story is impossible and yet they’ve kept us hopes.
I must spoke for the Empress’s poise features. She nailed it all the time. I praise both actors for their impeccable performance.
Second Leads has their fair share of stories. Beautiful and daunting and funny and brilliant all at once. Patience yet fierce.
I’d hails them The Mighty Four...
I must say, this is how stories should have been told. With grace and strength aligned. Each episode gives splendid rendition. If only I spoke Mandarin, I’d borrowed dozens of their extraordinary vocabulary to express my admiration.
Music and Costumes are my all time favorite. Enough and not too much but classy and timeless. Han and Ming Dinasty has always been my cup of tea.
The costumes in this production substantiated each scene with enchantments.
And the gorgeous set just took us back in time like a time machine.
I’ve been rewatching it more then 10 times and maybe more cause it is that amazing 😉

Well thought time slip romance
So okay. It has been a challenge to find a decent drama after watching Happiness kdrama. And this one, what a surprise! Very decent indeed.
My favorites time-slip romance school has always been Someday Or One Day. However, this is has now been a dearest.
Angst and emotions from the cast delivered throughout their character like folk tales. Everyone standout most astoundingly. The Cinematography sparkled like gem and nothing is exaggerated out of the proportion. Even the OST fit each frame which deepens the shades of emotions in each scenes.
The story is not just about how Lin Bei Xing found her calling of this time travel bliss. It is also about how she was able to gamble it all at a cost, of her already broken heart. Sad Boy Zhang Wan Sen, is one to tell his tale. His dynamic was too suppressed but felt sweet and romantics. Both characters are oozing with this new star crossed lover universe that defying gravity. How they stare, spoke, and gesture at each other are organically mesmerizing.
Each episode has unique ideas. And it feels like watching series instead of a continuing story. Time slip is tough topics because it clashes fantasies. This drama may took the science fiction particles well-thought.
Lin Bei Xing character is fast thinking and never hesitated. She is brave and yet regretful once she act out by the spurs of the moment. That is kind of what heroin is made these days. Her poker face is just like a snowpiercer stabbing young Zhang Wan Sen affections towards her.
This is definitely different and very colorful drama. Hopefully others would get the excitement too.

Love Is Patience Love is Kind Love is Honest
Have a box of tissue by your side...I tried to be brave to watch this drama. However my sucker for sympathy hearts fails me everytime. And that is saying, it is such a relief to be able to shed tears when moved.
The Cooking part in this drama is such a delight to watch. Meals are comfort. Preparing for it is keen business. And serving them is the warmest form of affection.
Drama about incurable sickness helps you to cherished seconds of life in a modest way with a grand hopes. And here you have a taste of that. Be brave. It will make you inspire to become a better version of human. It will helps understand that life is not perfect. It will gets better.
Conflicted part in this drama is intense. The actors and actresses is very genuine with their dialogue, I can’t help to wonder if we could use those words in actual life. Perhaps we could change a stigma. Defense bullies. Give hopes. Second chances. Settled disputes.
There was a scene, when Lee Joon and Lee Kang spent in the pottery furnace. When all the angst has died down and they are able to have conversation in civil. And Lee Joon has always been true, despite his anger and struggles for his share unfairness. Lee Joon’s character heals in ways he is able to save people.
The way of romancing He forgot She remembers, very well patiently done. The way Lee Kang find his closure is with the same weight as Cha Young accept her condition. It can be more beautiful than that.
The music score is very nice and soothing. Chocolate is a drama where you can be brave with acceptance.

This is certainly a toast! The chemistry’s between main leads are just so adoring... bickering session is on another level, which is a high bar. Yes, Ryan and Lusi is on-point portraying the romance between Han Shuo and Qian Qian love story. The classic style is still there to spice up the whole wondering world of wuxia. All the supporting cast has genuine vibes which creates catchy phrases and puts your giggles on-the-go.
Fun and adoring... Costumes are great, very light and satisfactory. But I can’t help to wonder, what if it was set with more vibrant color and regal accessories. You know, the whole magnitude of Chinese wuxia wardrobe and set design. Also, in-depth dialogue since imaginatively Qian Qian came from the future.
Overall, I’ll rewatched it again in any given day. I’m already addicted with their visuals and sweetness.
Looking forward for Ryan acting in next project, that kid still got lots in shop to show... more brooding perhaps please ???

All is fair in love and war
The Soundtrack is a class. The cinematography is a class. The actors is a class. The story telling is a chaos. Maybe it is the bewildered rendition.
Jojo and Sun Oh has intense and anticipation scene in each encounter. The passion is there. Raw. Suppressing.
Sun Oh still got that fearless conviction. As he was in season 1. Here he’s more fueled with anger too and beaten black and blue.
Hye Young with all the perks he earns, still found himself running in circles self-effacing. Jobs and Girl not sufficient enough to braved grim past life.
Jojo is not ‘trying’ to get caught by her love triangle had she not shielded her Love Alarm years before. Closure is a closure whatever the form she needed.
There are some loose ends here and there. Odd occurrences. Peculiar disappearances. Some characters are like missing puzzles.
So the ending is an ending. Let’s hope this is Fin.

Quintessential - Deserves more seasons and Epic Movie version
I have my previous review written here, and now I must continue be proud with this series.Acting.
Chemistry is the key for a great ensemble creating perfect harmony and romancing amazing stories. This one got it, for sure!
The actors and actresses delivers this ripen micro expressions of love, crush, bravery, intrigue, devastation, heartbreak, faith, optimism, timid, malicious, devious, heroic, wit.
Sword fight and Archery performance, flawless. Tear-jerking moments, heart-rending. Endearments moments, flutters hearts. If you’d like to be taken to an adventure, then this is your cup of tea.
It is so exciting to found another great drama works, since a few of my preferences. To mention best two titles thus far was: Secrets of Three Kingdom and The Longest Days in Chang’An. Now we have a third with The Long Ballad.
Costumes, Sets and Props.
It is about adventurous story where most of the scene leads to outdoors. And they were scarce Palaces involves or that grand majestic forbidden city sized Palace. However, the portraying is detailed and well produced. I could’ve swear Ashile Sun’s hair do is my all time favorite here. Even Chang Ge androgyny style is so attractive. Costumes and make-up were fitted perfectly aligned with each character. The Masks are also one of my favorite.
Story.
Well narrated. Eloquent rendition. And unpredictably predictable. It always leaves for more. Like this could becoming a start of invigorating series. Really deserves for more seasons and brought up to movie versions. Fingers crossed. It is a wish (with hopefully the same cast as leads).
The last 9 episodes was astonishing. It’s like maneuvering great journey to the end.
There are a few of awkward scenes, which gives a tad of cringe feelings. Like the fire CGI, would be better if was just smokes and chaos. Then again, during pandemic perhaps it was the consideration. The plague marks were weird too, simple blotch would’ve been okay.
Skinships are only a kiss away. PG-13 Literally. Don’t be let down by it. A Sun’s hugs and affectionate stares is such a great expectations. The same goes with Hao Du angst, despair and sunshine smiles.
Chang Ge is very strong and determined. Focused and sometimes sassy. Dilreba is perfect for this. Le Yan is a becoming princess. Her character is slight similar with Sansa Stark. Evolving with stronger elements. Rosy Zhao bring that charm to screen seamlessly. Ashile Sun is heaven’s matched for Leo Wu. Can’t hardly think anyone would be so perfect to play that role. He did Him justice. Constantly breathtaking. Hao Du is sunshine. Perhaps started of like a grim gray clouds. Then along the way his heart grew brilliant like precious gem stones. Yuning is an immaculate Hao Du.
Soundtracks and BGM.
Suitable and divinely orchestrated. It has all of the emotions components for each scenes. Impeccable.
My favorite top three scenes are: Third would be the kicks off in the first episode. Ball Game. How Heroes meet. Second would be A Sun banishing Chang Ge in order to protect her. First ranking would be all the moments A Sun instantly saved Chang Ge.
Like I said. This drama deserves five more seasons and an epic movie version.
*** previously reviewed
From episode 1, start this curious journey of epic excitement. I am so invested. My chest felt bursting feelings of enthusiasm. This drama is such a casting goals, and you will fell in love madly with both pairs specially. Also the rest of the cast are aces.
Ever since The Longest Day in Chang’An, I seemed to wondered earnestly with titles referring for any production sets during the Tangs’s dinasty and that historical city. Seeking out any action love stories (nothing screams cheesy) drama, well-made and spectacular. And found it here with The Long Ballad.
Chemistry has always been the key for great episodes of drama. Supported with good rendition, well-thought landscaping with wardrobe, make-up and sets, music and all of it just maneuvering with the right direction and coordination.
Most memorable moments is how the love moments being delivered. With patience, passionately.
The two main pairs are incredibly play out modest. However, brilliant with the feelings oozing out their words, stares, gazes, pain, hurt, longing, crush, and divine love. They are great becoming actors and actresses, and hopefully awaits more wonderful projects in the future for them.
Let’s talk pairs up couples. I’ll keep in one sentences.
Changge and Ashile Sun. Steamy couple in a modest way possible, tends to left your imagination gone wild but expected.
Leyan and Hao Du. Devoted Love, arresting.
Must warn for the blood and gore. But honestly, this is a historical genre. And this just one of the bits that done right and makes it gloriously great.

Romance in need, Romance indeed.
To start, would like to make a conscious notes. A good well played drama is forged by great decent of good actor and actress. Their portraying of the characters in this drama are immensely heartfelt. And gives defining vibes of chaos, mishaps and beautiful desperations. Also light and bubbly feels of a true love. It caught me off-guard , when I thought this production would just be another sappy school-theme drama. Turns out, it has more depth, ruggedness and flair. I will try my very best not to spoil on anything IMPORTANCE. So, here we go...This drama tells a tale of an unrequited love, however it is more like faithfully loved. From ep 1, it is romantically narrated by the heroin her adoration towards her darling hero. Nothing is more intriguing than having flashbacks of 'almost' momentum.
L (our heroin), daydreaming scenes are as sweet as sugar. It is like mirages of intensified fondness. Very natural for the closeted-obsessed. Hence, S (our hero) is nevertheless the same. He's too, has the obvious infatuations as hers.
Their attraction to each other, sprung from their hearts like charming overtures. Whimsically, I've enjoyed the ups and down of their mood for love. It is delightful with a tinge of despair when things gone south.
My best scene, would be (surprisingly) the minute S hating himself for testing L's honesty. Is very humane to opt that. Hu Yitian nailed the crying scene, it's well put heartbroken.
This drama has lines of dialogues cleverly played within all the casts. Everyone really showing great performances. Nothing is less or to much. All fits superbly. Chemistry between OTP and the rest of the cast are very wonderful.
The OST blends well in all scenes. Oozing blues aura, very cool for romance.
If anyone here reading reviews, are looking for noteworthy school-theme romance drama. This could be it. Rewatched value? From from my tenth time rewatching... very looking forward for another one. Truly binge-watch worthy.

Revenge will bite you back
This drama has been the guru of all revenge movies…Not a melodrama material. However ten times the fun.
Must warn for all the blood and gore, violence and angst, swearing words. This drama for sure and for real has that truth beyond the truth essence in life.
Each episodes depicts the harsh truth for the weak must suffer. Retaliation then made by this awesome not so ordinary party of five. Each has their painful story and each face their demons, eventually.
Villains are on another level of viciousness. Again, viewers consideration is highly recommended. Be very wise and thoughtful and keep in mind this is just story telling with intense visualization. So when it get too intense quickly take three minute pause, get a soda for a sip or just make sure to watch it with a friend.
Acting is top notch. Lee Je Hoon is on a roll of yet hit wonder. Have been adoring him with this type of genre, ever since Signal.
Then again, this production has an amazing ensemble cast. Heroes, villain and victims are played with excellent acting skill.
OST and BGM are well orchestrated. It is like the utmost perfect set up. Watching this drama from start to end is such a revelation that action super heroes film can be made as real as this. Without extreme CGI or embellished costume suit. Even their villain is scarier than some loony scientist or billionaire gone mad.
This drama deserves more seasons. It even has the perfect ep 16 ending. Superb!

Divine
Long story short, literally... This has the astounding 51 episode. Each episode is fun to watch and has all the elements.
You know when watching period drama, it’s crucial to get hooked at 1st episode. And then to be able to maintain the excitement of the story from then untill ending, that’s just how great this drama is.
Ha JiWon, Ji Changwook and Joo Jinmo love triangle is steaming and vibrant.
They deliver it so well, and created the divine worlds of the royals. History drama at epic level.
I’ve watched this back in 2013 and anticipating each episode release with high enthusiasm. In result, they’re amazing and breathtaking.
Ha Jiwon is excellent in capturing all the emotion of a woman in a men’s world. Tormented between love and affection. This is what it was and actually happening. She’s affectionated with one man. At the same time, falls helplessly in love with another man. So interesting...
Ji Changwook’s character is adorable in here. Not captivating or handsomely gorgeous glamorously heroic. However he’ll definitely melts hearts. And sheds us tears of sympathy and heart wrenching ways. His evolution from being vulnerable to become fiercely strong, just amazing.
Joo Jinmoo has that King elements in him which lit up every time his scene is on. And that makes him the perfect ultimate rival. He will torn you mindfully, and left with all the doubting moments of weatheyor not the writer would plot twisted this historic based drama. Diligently, the writer stays in the line of history.
Rewatched value is a must but with a plan. Considering its 51 episode.
Everything from costume to music scores, settings and soundtracks was done well with perfection. So, if you are looking for politics in raw, intrigue, betrayal and hard wrenching love triangle. This is your treats.
