Storyline needs more story

Tbh, the storyline has GREAT POTENTIAL! A vampire BL where the ML falls in love with the boy he's supposed to kill. It could've been amazing, and it sounded extremely interesting when you read about it.

The problem is, it didn't quite live up to the expectations most of us had set for it. The story was a little fast paced. with 20min ep they could be able to pull it out a little, explain more of their lives. Maybe more about the fact that he was an orphan and was once kidnapped?? They just brought it up and completely forgot about it, it seems. They could also tell more about the story between the ML and his old bf that he killed.
They just met, fell in love, slept together and then he died.
Another thing that kinda ruined the show for me was the awkward acting. The villain doesn't need an underbite, and everyone is allowed to blink, are they not? The ML is hot, yes, but his acting isn't top tier just yet. It kinda reminds me of Color Rush and Hwalls acting back then. Just that these two seem to have a bit more chemistry.
Send the ML to a few more workshops and teach him to blink.
Also... the way he killed the other vampire... it looked like he was grazing his neck, and who tf dies sitting like that??!

Great idea, poorly made. It seemed like the budget was relatively small, as the production wasn't at the same level as we're used to seeing with K-dramas.
Hopefully we get to see them redeem this plot with a new vampire BL soon, cause this storyline just needs more....story?

Not the best, but not that bad either

I love how we get a peek into thai culture and customs, as it's very different from what most of us are used to. The story is mainly about the LGBT+ community's fear or rejection, coming out and society's current state, where a lot of people still aren't that open minded and accepting, and I feel that they managed to portray this pretty well.

I didn't enjoy how they came out to his mother. It was just awkward and not realistic, and in the end when they did get her approval to date, there was unnecessary undressing.
Another thing, the sister. She was reduced to a creepy fujoshi who enjoyed watching her brother struggle as a gay man, solely because of his sexuality. She recorded the whole situation, instead of stepping in and being on his side, or trying to convince their mother.

The acting was okay, and the production was alright. The story has potential, but should be worked on a little more. Not something I'd watch again, but I do hope it gets a remake sometime.

Confusing, but somewhat not at the same time...

To start off, all the actors were GREAT and they're amazing at what they do, and couples have chemistry. They're spot on when it comes to portraying emotions and expressing their characters wants and needs.
Leo made me hate his character, and then appreciate him once again.
The only thing I'm gonna be a little picky on is the kisses and editing/storyline.
Kisses don't have any feeling to them. It's like a tenth grade theatre show.
And then there's the storyline and editing. At times it was confusing, I'm not sure if it's the translations or the script itself, but at times I had to go back and pause to go over everything that was happening to be able to hang on, it got easier towards the end of the show, but at the beginning it was hard to really grasp anything.
I like to crochet whilst watching shows, but for this one I had to pay attention at all times or I wouldn't understand anything.
But the story is unique, and kbls are good at just that, unique stories we haven't seen before.
I do also wish they could clear up what that "incident" was that led to him almost being blacklisted.
But overall it's worth a watch when you're not tired and have time to give your full attention to the show!

It's not all about horniness, it's mostly about the stigma

I was.... stunned. I've heard a lot of people talk about this movie, and the fact that it's a bit more intense than what you expect of a Korean movie. Even then, I didn't expect anything of this sort. Ofc it's still toned down a little, but it remains true to it's purpose and message.
Even if you aren't into BDSM, or anything of the sort, you still manage to keep some form of understanding for this movie. You even learn about the different dynamics, and what it's all about.
My favorite thing about the movie is the fact that it's not all about being horny, but mostly the social stigma around BDSM, especially when it's a woman dominating a man, and also the issues of some people with "fake" BDSM.
The directors and producers really managed to shed a good light on the community, even if I myself can't really say much about the representation, as I'm not personally a part of that community. It created understanding without dehumanizing those who are into BDSM.

It's... mid?

I went into this with no expectations, as I just randomly clicked a show on viki, but I have to be honest, kinda disappointing?
The story progressed really weirdly, and I feel like they just spent 5 episodes on him camping outside (great and seamless productplacement w the car btw/j)
We didn't get much story on when he left and how it was for him, or any resolution around that, the only thing we got to know was that he left because of his feelings, and that they're now reunited.
The script feels... forced and patchy like a Wattpad fanfiction, and they could've managed to fill a lot of holes and make the whole story more consistent if the episodes were 20min, or if they replaced some scenes where he's just sitting outside grilling. The story progressed, yes, but not like a red thread, more like a pogostick, if that makes sense?
The actors are great but lack chemistry. If you know that the script is gonna make you kiss another man, why say yes when you can't do it properly?! I'm tired of tenth grade theater show kisses...
Best part is the ost, AMAZING! On my playlist rn!

I'm stunned, it's incredible

This season really managed to wrap it all up for us, to explain everything.

I would've given the story 10/10 if they hadn't gone for the "and it was all a dream" ending, like I used to do when I was 10-
And I also don't really get that one scene, after they said no to a permanent residency, when Arisu is sitting in the bar with Karube and Chota. That scene added nothing but confusion.

But the way they introduced new characters, as well as how they went back to old ones, such as when we followed Ann through the forest, and Chisuyu through the different games.
I do however want to know the reason behind everyones heart stopping. Everyone who survived had a cardiac arrest, so I assume there is a connection there somewhere.

Many people have speculated on a third season due to the joker card in the ending scene, and that might just be fully possible if you take people who said yes to a permanent residency into consideration. The two men who said yes to stay is nowhere to be seen in the ending scenes in the hospital or when the meteor hits, and we get no explanation as to where they are, despite them having survived all the games.

But to wrap it all up, the show is amazingly written, and lived up to its hype. It has all the plot twists needed to keep you watching, even tho it got a little too much when they were having tea with the queen of hearts and I got tempted to skip ahead. But how they go from game to game, how they get split up and then reunite again, how Niragi doesn't die of infection and sepsis from his burns (?how?), and how every gamemaster dies with honor, and a purpose.
It's amazing
