Long way to go until I finally got to watch it, kinda worth it tho
So I have some kind of tic which made it impossible for me to watch this without having seen its two preceding series (kiss me and kiss me again) while those two were absolute torture this one was actually extremely enjoyable.I do recommend at least skipping through ‘kiss me again’ and watching the scenes with the main couple of this series. Otherwise you may find it hard to warm up to them at first. (I tried watching Dark Blue kiss first but got extremely confused because I didn’t know anyone and just didn’t really feel any connection to the main couple, watching kiss me again solved that)
I absolutely loved both actors and their chemistry in all three parts but especially in this one. I actually kind of like how we didn’t have to go through the whole relationship building progress for both couples, because one of them was already existing from before. So we got one new couple that I also really really loved, that works on building their relationship and their new found feelings for each other , and one existing couple working on their relationship, still growing together etc.
The main thing that bothered me with this series is the inconsistency in the characters as compared to kiss me again.
In the preceding series, the couple had already come out to their friends, here they were still keeping it a secret, one of them was quite the good photographer the other one was terrible, here they just switched, and the one who couldn’t take one good picture was suddenly a passionate photographer. I also don’t know where the swimming thing suddenly came from, but well I guess all of this was necessary to make it a good story.
Apart from this inconsistency with the preceding series, I don’t really have much to be bothered about. There were some annoying parts, were communication would have been the cure to all problems. But I mean that’s nothing new right. Apart from that this was absolutely beautiful, cute and I very much enjoyed watching.

Perfect mixture of new, exciting, fun and beautiful
I really truly enjoyed watching this Drama.I started it on a wimp since it was getting so much hype and I didn’t know what to watch, so I thought I’d give it a try.
I loved all of the actors and their performances. I think this might even be one of the few K-Dramas where I didn’t have to cringe at how they handled mental disorders. I absolutely fell in love with the lead couple.
Story wise: I loved the whole vibe this Drama gave off, with the children book drawings etc. Giving us a deeper view into the Leads mind. The story to me was absolutely new, nothing I’d seen before. Which made me actually anticipate what will happen next, even tho (sadly) to me the big reveal wasn’t all that big, since I’d kind of seen that coming. It was still really exciting to watch, made me laugh at times and hurt at other times.
If you need something interesting that’s maybe a little twisted, definitely watch this one, I for one was hooked with the first episode.
The reason I’m not giving it a full 10 is that to me it was still missing something at times. It just didn’t feel like a full 10.
The OST is also absolutely beautiful.

A bit lacking towards the end
This was a very sweet short romance. Nothing much to say both main characters are beautiful. And they did a decently good job acting their roles. My issue was with how the whole thing ended, it wasn’t bad or anything, but there was a lot of room for more and overall I just wasn’t very satisfied with the end.

Most incoherent thing I’ve ever watched
I don’t know what to say, I forced myself to finish just for the sake of it.This was 8 hours of pretty much nothing? The two main characters relationship gets off on a terrible foot but we overlook a lot for the sake of entertainment. It started out strongish for like 1.5-3 episodes, with promising at the very least sexual tension and two very handsome guys going enemies to lovers (or something of the sorts).
After that everything just sort of happened without any logical order or actual effort to make their relationship development make sense or at least show the viewer how it develops. We sort of just hop between happy and problem (that’s actually a non problem) back and forth without any actual substance until it’s over.
Giving this 4 stars cause I enjoyed the first 2 episodes, the music was good and the actors worked well together.
Would not watch this again and honestly hope they do not make a second season, or if they do I honestly don’t care for it.

Make It Right: The Series

It's worth the watch, even though I rated it quite low
Okay so I would love to give this Drama an 8 because it was quite endearing, however, objectively I can not give it more than a 7.First off the cast: I only knew one of the actors from other series and it was quite interesting to see him this young. Overall the entire cast seemed quite young, however since their characters were pretty young too it made sense. They were all okay acting out their parts, but some parts seemed rather unnatural.. it got better the further the series advanced though.
Now for the plot: the series kind of gave me the feeling of a 15 year old boy trying his hand on writing a series... the Humor and story in itself seemed a little “childish” however, this is not meant in any bad way, since this was also the charm to this series. It seemed kind of pure and innocent (even though it wasn’t even that innocent) just some 15 year old boys doing what 15 year old boys do and experiencing love on the way. I watched through the entire series quite quickly since it was interesting and entertaining although terribly weird to watch at times.
I would recommend to give it a go.

Most heartwarming thing I have ever seen.
I started this Series before it was finished, because people were saying it was as good as if not better than Tharntype. So I started it with extremely high expectations. And while a lot of people were disappointed by the end I will say I disagree. Yes I was disappointed by the fact that there was too little action, or non at all, however, the overall story was just so cute and heart warming that it honestly didn’t ruin my feel for the series at all.The actors both did a great job in conveying their characters, especially Bright (Sarawat) I just felt his every expression, every action and absolutely bought his character. For Win (Tine) it took me some time to warm up, but that’s most likely due to the fact that he plays quite the passive character, so it needed like a turn point where he was really able to show his acting skills in terms of conveying feelings to the audience. Once this was given I was absolutely convinced by him as well.
Now to the story line: like I said above, this one had one of the cutest most heartwarming stories I have ever seen. My heart literally burst with love and warmth in so many scenes... this for me made up for any missing action. Especially since we now know there will be a second season were we may hope for the making up of all the missing action in the first season.
However, I will say that this too is a series where one person is more of the “giver” and the other one the “taker” which usually kind of bothers me, but with this one it didn’t bother me as much because the “giver” was so extremely lovable that it made up for the frustration sometimes caused by the “taker”. This is probably the only part that bothers me though: the one lead obviously loves the other and has never done anything to hurt or betray the other, and still somehow he seems to be the only one who has to apologise and put effort into the relationship.. this makes the relationship dynamic quite unequal.
Lastly I want to mention the soundtrack: I usually give an average rating for music or rate it according to how much I remember it, since music was a big part of this series I obviously remember it quite well, and I have to say it played nicely into the Series and it’s overall feel. I saved most of the Songs into my playlist!
So this is definitely a Drama I advice to have seen. You may like it or you may not, For me it was absolutely heart warming. I am excited for the second season (I usually am not a big fan of second seasons, however because of the lack of action in the first season, I am really excited to see what they come up with for the second). I would not at all compare it to Tharntype though, because the two are just completely different things. Both good in their own way.

Not really my thing, but worth it for the main couple
Watched this on a wimp since Talay plays one of the main roles.First of all the intro should really come with an epilepsy warning.
Then, as the intro already explains well enough, nothing about this series is to be taking seriously. And I can see how some people may get a good laugh out of the series.
Sadly it wasn’t my type of humour at all. I may have laughed at some of the scenes, if it wasn’t for the terrible “audience laughter” they played basically after every sentence.. even when nothing funny was happening at all.
Luckily they stopped playing it as much, the further it got to the end.
I just kind of awkwardly sat through the weird jokes, because I really liked the main couple. They had some solid chemistry even for such a short Drama especially such a non serious one.
They were really cute and natural. They even had some unexpected Drama and problems. I liked them and their story so I put up with everything else.
For some reason though, the ending was hilarious, I can’t really say why since it was just as weird as all the other parts of the series, but that ending it just caught me so off guard and got so weird that I actually did get a GOOD laugh, that almost made up for all the other missed out laughter :’D.
I also really liked all of the characters in themselves, especially the apartment owner and her followers. I just didn’t think it was all that funny.
All in all, if for some reason you are intrigued to watch this (cause u like one of the actors,
Or the music(which is one song stolen from another BL) or whatever) definitely do. It’s absolutely brainless but kind of entertaining.

Definitely the best out of all HIstory parts.
I absolutely loved this one, and I am extremely glad I saved this one for last out of the HIstory parts. If you are (like I was) thinking about whether you should watch “make our days count” or “trapped” first I strongly recommend you watch “make our days count” first and end the Series with this one.
The actors were extremely well chosen in my opinion, I absolutely bought their portrayal of their characters. I loved their chemistry, there was no awkwardness at all. The side characters where extremely fitting as well.
This whole Drama was a mixture of lighthearted fun and seriousness that didn’t feel misplaced at all.
I literally savoured every second and every emotion of this one, sadness, happiness, romance, I really can’t find much to criticise.
Definitely watch this if you’re still wavering.

Watch this.
This one is absolutely one of my favourites. Starting from the extremely well chosen actors (especially child actors compared to adult actors) the story that was if a bit unrealistic, extremely interesting and refreshing. This Drama combines serious with fun, love and a bit of sadness. However my absolute favourite part about it is that there is no unnecessary or frustrating Drama. There are misunderstandings and there is Drama etc. But it all makes sense, none of it is due to characters not getting their mouths open or jumping to conclusions or randomly thrown in exes/parents. The problems that arise are all logically valid.
This was definitely a watch in one sitting kind of Drama for me and one of the first ones I could have rewatched right away.

Water Boyy: The Series

Not a must watch in my opinion.
I am honestly not sure what to think of this one.Let me first say I absolutely loved all of the actors and bought everything they were trying to convey. I also loved and shipped all of the couples and their chemistry, the “main” one as well as the “side” couples. Now the reason I put these in parenthesis is one of the problems I and probably others had with this Drama.
If you had not known who the main couple is from the get go, you probably would not have guessed it either, until maybe the the last few episodes. Because they got a maximum of maybe 10 minutes screen time per episode. However I do understand that they could probably not have had any more screen time since their story development would not have allowed it.
And this is part of the second problem I had with this drama, which was the main reason I’m giving this such a low rating and is merely a personal preference thing: the development of all of the couples was extremely slow and extremely frustrating at times. I am someone who needs a good mixture of happiness, cuteness and sadness, frustration, otherwise I lose interest.
The other major problem for me was the character portrayed by Earth: Waii, so one of the leads, who in my opinion was just a major douche most of the time and basically the only source of conflict for the main couple, and other couples for that matter. I do not like Dramas where the entire problem lies with one character and his behaviour. We have had similar storylines before, If you’ve seen “together with me” it’s kind of similar. However for some reason Waii just pissed me off a hell of a lot more, probably because I really really liked Apo’s character (the other lead). For me to really love a story there needs to be Mutual conflict, both characters need to be flawed, make mistakes and grow accordingly. This was not only missing for the main couple but for most side couples too, there was an over all theme of one person being the “bad guy”.
That being said, if you want to watch it sure do! The happy scenes that we do get are definitely worth it. And considering the plot is based off a novel (that I haven’t read) it is probably the best they could have made out of it (if I ever do read the novel of course that opinion may change). For me it’s not a must watch, and I would probably only rewatch it for the sake of the actors...

Cute but very predictable
I enjoyed watching it. I bringe watched in within a little under a week. I liked and shipped all couples and everyone was absolutely beautiful. Such an attractive cast. The storyline however was super predictable and our typical “nobody talks to one another” drama that would have been solved with one easy conversation.
Still I was pretty happy overall, so if you just need something nonsensical non (too) frustrating with a pretty satisfying end, this one’s for you. Don’t expect a cinematic masterpiece though.

Laughed a lot more than one should with this genre
Mixed feelings with this one.Actors/characters (also my number one problem with this Drama): I liked the male lead, he did good on most parts, some parts seemed a bit awkward, but I guess I liked his performance the most. The female lead either wasn’t very good at all or her character was just really badly written. She seemed like a strong and rather fearless woman in the beginning, but somehow she just suddenly started crying at everything? It just really seemed out of character to me... by the end she had turned into an extremely passive character without much to show for herself. What makes me doubt the actress’s acting skills is the way her emotional outbursts felt extremely awkward and hard to watch.
Second major problem with the cast were the ‘American’ actors/characters. We all know that Chinese Dramas rarely feature any good foreign actors or English dialogue. Usually this is not a big problems since those kind of scenes only take up very small parts of the entire Drama. However, since about half this Drama supposedly plays in the US and half the characters are ‘American’ they really could have spent a little more on getting some decent actors.
I personally did not hate the fact that they just had everyone talk in their own language and ‘magically’ understand each other, since I know the alternative would have been terrible broken English or broken Chinese dialogue which would have made the whole thing unwatchable.
All other Chinese characters did a good job, nothing too complain about there.
Plot:
I was entertained by the plot for the most part, but I think if the writers would have dug a little deeper into crime-psychology it could have been even better. A lot of the conclusions that an entire group of police men and FBI agents couldn’t come to were obvious with some knowledge of basic logic, given the evidence at hand. The main storyline was what kept me hooked. There were multiple points were I thought I had had it all figured out, but it turned out I did in fact not, I like that, plots that pick at my brain. The ending did seem a little weird and maybe rushed I could have imagined a better ending, but I’ll take it.
I liked the love storyline, it wasn’t too present but it was still there, I don’t know if I fully bought their chemistry but since I liked the male lead and his way of expressing himself very much I was still on board with them.
On a last note the portrayal of American police or FBI was extremely weird, admittedly I don’t know how they work in real life, but I sure hope they do a whole lot better than they did in this Drama.
Finally: I personally enjoyed watching this Drama, laughed a bit more than I should have due to logical flaws, awkward scenes or bad acting, but I was hooked for most of it. The ending 100% confused me but I just won’t spend to much time thinking about it. I do absolutely not regret having watched this. I probably wouldn’t rewatch it tho since I already know the outcome, which makes it kind of lose it’s appeal.

HIStory3: Make Our Days Count

Could have been a 10 if it had a different ending
This is definitely a good Drama, however it did kind of feel like the ending didn’t fit the rest.Actors: I liked the the choices for the actors and their acting. The only thing I didn’t like as much was how dangerously skinny one of them was and maybe that one of the other characters seemed to change into a completely different person when he was horny.
Plot:
I really liked the side couple and their story. For the main couple: This started out as a really cute Highschool romance. I loved how one character found out about his feelings, his change in behaviour afterwards. It all fit quite well. I really liked how he handled his feelings and decided to go after his love interest. My problem here would be that we didn’t really get to see how the other characters feelings started developing. A little more of that would have been nice.
Their relationship itself was quite cute and I liked how the obstacles they got thrown in the way played out.
I didn’t have a problem with there being a focus on sex for a few episodes, since to me this is a natural part of a relationship that should be dealt with, especially with high schoolers. However one of the characters did seem a little too keen on the whole thing.. that made it a little weird on some parts.
All in all the story leading up to the end was a really nice story of first love.
However the end just really really felt off and not satisfying at all.
Sure life sometimes makes unexpected turns. But from the perspective of a Drama watcher, who was not prepared for this at all, it just really felt off.
The last episode was just really weird all the way through. To me there would have been many other ways to keep the ending but make it better, or give it an entirely different ending that would have fit the feeling of the rest of the story better.
In the end this was a good Drama with a kind of unfitting ending.

Still love it, even the second time around.
I watched this while it was still airing, and recently rewatched, so I thought I’d write a review while the memory is still fresh. This one is definitely one of my favourites, from main couple to side characters/stories I loved everything and everyone (or hated who should be hated).
I loved the actor choices for all characters honestly, each actor fit their character perfectly.
The story develops quite quickly which is one of the things I liked about this Drama, at the point it starts to slow down the side stories kick in to make our time worth while.
I had and still have one problem with this Drama, and that is the second male lead. The first time I watched, it was because I felt he had too much screen time, causing the main story to pause for quite a while, however, as I rewatched that part didn’t bother me too much anymore, since I didn’t have to wait an entire week only to get an episode that contains more of the second male lead than the actual lead.
However while rewatching I realised how manipulative and unhealthy he and his interactions with the female lead actually were... if that is the definition of a good/ suitable man, then there’s definitely something wrong with society.
Overall I loved how this Drama showed different types and sides of Love and relationships, good parts as well as bad parts.
Definitely watch this, it’s worth the time.

Good Bye, My Princess aka 50 Episodes of Chest-Pain, and I loved every second of it.
I don‘t think any drama has ever f*cked with my feelings this much before, not even Rise of Phoenixes (which had my heart aching for quite some time).I will say that I do not read any summaries or anything before watching Dramas, so I did not at all know what I was getting myself into.
Both female and male actor portrayed their roles beautifully.
What fascinated me the most about this Drama is that there is A LOT of Drama and unhappiness, I felt a very uncomfortable heaviness in my chest all the way from ~ EP 10 till the end. This one will get your hopes up and crush them. And even though I usually hate a lot of Drama, here it all made sense in a way, and did not get boring nor feel stretched out for a second.
It’s been a while since I‘ve finished a costume Drama this fast! If you are looking for something to really make you feel, give this one a try!
