Got into korean dramas march 2011. Boys over flowers was my first. stumbled onto taiwenese dramas the month after. autumn's concerto was my first. japanese dramas followed soon after...but it wasn't until july i finished hana kimi. Being asian, i'm thrilled asian dramas can be so cool. But I still think they have quite a way to go before reaching american/european standard. Koreans are best at filming things/sound effects/blah blah blah. They're also good with the storylines...but due tend to repeat one another. Taiwanese still need to improve their recording/s. They possibly have the best storylines, but it never really comes out to it's full potential...Japanese were the surprise. From the outset, I thought they would be the best. And when I watch their stuff, there's so much potential it kills me. They're cinematgrophy's good. They're also quick to the point. But sometimes being so quick of the mark, they fail to drum up "drama magic." Still it's watcheable. I really really want to write a drama script and send it to these guys. I'm no professional, but I wanna show these guys thinking outside the box is sometimes good. But you guys are way ahead in terms of south-east asians (which i am) so I can't really talk :p
