Unexpected and really good
Ok, I'll try to not give any spoilers with my review but first of all, I was quite surpised by this serie and I've just realized that the actor who plays Tae Myungha is the one who played the son in Penthouse. So I'm really glad to see him again as a main role and in a different project! Now, I understand the hype and the high rating because I also enjoyed it, it catched my attention since the first episode and I really appreciate the pacing of each episode. When I've finished one episode, it makes me want to know what happened next.
The idea of the story is quite nice and interesting, I was a bit taken aback by the turn of some events. It improves or can I say it stand out the charm of this serie?
So why I didn't give a 10? It's because in terms of the plot, I have a few wuestions or maybe, in my eyes, they could add some few details to improve it. But maybe I'm weirdly nitpicky haha
In terms of the acting, they did very well, it's just sometimes (or maybe it's just me), it was slightly not enough moving/ convincing. I mean it's just a small detail, I don't even know how to explain my small feelings.
It's almost perfect with these elements and I also really liked the cinematography, some scenes were beautifully shot and cherry on top, every soundtracts are really pleasant and catchy to listen!
I highy recommend it!
p-s: I'm maybe weird but I didn't really mind the age gap between the maind leads (although yes, at the begining, I've started to be concerned however as episodes went by, I've just accepted and I've even found them really cute. Well, I don't want to add something more because it's going to be a bit too long and it would be another topic to discuss (or maybe not).

Not perfect but it's watchable
I think they wanted to copy the japanese style including some of the thai culture and elements but it was not really good??I didn't watched the Japanese adaptation nor read the manga so I absolutely don't know the story and its characters. However, it's kind of disappointing when it didn't get my attention as expected and that in a BL, I was mainly happy and cheering on the side couple which is a hetero couple! I appreciate and enjoyed a lot Half and Matmi but I also like the friendship between Atom and Matmi.
Except the ton of product placement.. And Usually I'm aware of it and I don't mind it but this one was indeed a bit too much, I still find it funny, cute and somehow entertaining (although I found myself being on my cellphone playing some games and the episode playing on the background lmao). Not the best, not perfect but it's watchable to spend on my free time.
It also tackles some youth issues which are also relatable but I still don't think I'll rewatch.
The only thing that I love the most is the OST but also the couple of Matmee and Half lol

Last Twilight is like a healing book
Since the trailer, I was looking forward to this serie and when I've started the first episode, I was kind of mindblowing.. No, each episode, I was gradually endeared by the story and its characters. It was like a journey filled with hope, acceptance, and healing. they made me go through some feels (mainly smiling and shed some tears haha), it was a rollercoster. They also captured some beautiful moments, nice and interesting details.
It has some flaws but at the same time, I'm too soft that I found it perfect. I loved everything about it, great production, directing and acting. Jimmy Jitaraphol and Sea Tawinan , the main leads improved in this and they deserve some recognition. The original soundtracks are also so good and so emotional.
Although, I was ok for another ending and I wanted some other extra scenes to be impactful and heartwarming but still, it was a good closure. So either way, I think I'm still happy.
And finally, Last Twilight is not my last memory but rather, one of my best memories forever. It's a slice of life serie that I would like to comeback to watch some good memories.

It could be better with more episodes
Alright, the journey of Step by Step comes to an end and honestly I'm left with mixed feelings, especially after watching the last episode. At first, I was so into the story and unlike some people, I really loved the work aspect so it didn't bother me. I liked the slow paced but some scenes could be more developped, it's a pity. I think it seems quite common for the production of DeeHup House even though they bring a nice quality in term of filming, cinematography and colors.
I think, it was quite risky to adapted a very long novel (3 books!) into a serie with 12 eps and as I said, it could be better with a few more episodes so they might not rush things.
There is also, sometimes, problem with editing, I'm sorry, I'm not maybe the good person to talk about it but as a viewer, it makes me unsatisfied and it's sad because I really love the idea, the storytelling. I wish I could rate it higher but then.. Maybe I'm also a bit too generous.
For the acting side, it was alright but then Man Trisanu stood up the most as Boss Jeng. I really like his character but also how he portrayed him with his expressions and how he delivered the lines. I could rate thanks to him 10/10 for the acting but then, I have to think about others and Ben Bunyapol as Pat, since it's his first work, it was alright, not bad but I think it's also because of the writing of his character who is quite childish and has some insecurities due to several reasons.
I wasn't so much fond of the side couple Jaab and Jane/Jen but I felt bad for them. They deserved a better ending.
Nonetheless, despite some flaws, I kind of miss them and miss every Tuesday because it was my comfort serie, I shared, even though I was just a viewer, the feelings, moments and the part of these characters slice of life.
The soundtracks are catchy, easy to listen, I really love it.
And wish the best for all of them and looking forward to their respective works.
