A Tanzanian dude who loves watching TV shows...
K-dramas have a special place in my heart... 
Don't wanna get any more mushy than I already have...

I was first introduced into the K-drama world a few years back with "Winter Sonata" as it was airing on a Local channel I know... I never got to finish it; but it introduced me to a whole different world I didn't know existed...

The drama that I officially consider my first is "Jewel in The Palace", and since then I've been a Fan of K-drama and never looked back...

I'm more of a casual viewer of Asian Dramas if I may be more honest though... I'm not a hardcore 'drama-holic'... lol, hence the few Watched dramas on my belt. 
I still do enjoy every moment I get to watch a great drama. I use the term "great" loosely to mean: anything that I love... biased... I know... :)

So; What do I love in a drama?
That's a pretty hard question for me believe it or not.
I'm the kind of guy who knows exactly what he doesn't want; but not entirely sure of what he wants. lol
Life has surprised me far too often... I've at times enjoyed things I never thought I could, even in my wildest dreams... So, I often give 'benefit of the doubt' to any drama that I don't even think I'll love, and try it for at least 2 episodes, then I'll know for sure if it ain't my cup of tea.

That being said: So far, I find myself leaning towards Historical dramas or Sageuks than any other genre. I don't know, there's just something about them that makes me tick. Is it the costumes and environments? I'm not sure... I'm gonna be pretentious and say: I think it's the main characters in Sageuk stories, that are usually bigger than Life itself. Their adventures, as they travel through difficult terrains filled with dangers at each turn. And their struggle to defeat evil, and sometimes even conquer their own fate... and still through it all find True Love!
They're like my Heroes... people I can cheer on, and somehow in doing that try to make sense in what Life and the struggles I face mean... Told you I was gonna get pretentious... hahaha
But I digress...

Apart from Asian dramas, I very much enjoy US and UK Tv Series...
