This is just…beautiful
I’m completely obsessed with this drama. Both the main leads are so complicated and interesting, it had me rooting for their romance so much. I will admit I didn’t like Kiyoi in the beginning and I though this would be one of those bad bully x victim tropes. But it’s actually quite different from that. I don’t know how to put into words, but the actors’ chemistry is so electrifying. My heart was beating so fast everytime they were interacting especially the last episode in their old classroom where they kiss. The most beautiful and cutest BL scene ever… I also love Rokaku so much. He’s so precious and kindest boy ever. I’m glad Hira was able to find someone like him in college. I do wish Hira had more personality outside of being a socially awkward simp, but he’s still very cute to me and I was shocked to find out that he’s the seme and not Kiyoi lol. I really do want a season 2 since the novel hasn’t been translated into English. I hope we get one soon. Overall, I just love this drama, the actors, the storyline, their aesthetics, the kiss scene. Amazing.Cet avis était-il utile?

This is just perfect.
This is such a good women-centric drama!! Park Eun-bin absolutely killed it, although I would do preferred to see an actual autistic actress, she did a great job anyways. The story is amazing, Woo Young Woo’s relationships with other characters is amazing, particularly with Choi Suyeon. The sweetest friendship ever. Besides the casting, I have literally no issues with this kdrama omg? It’s absolutely perfect. Loved the great lesbian couple representation as well!I’m so excited for season 2! I hope to see more of suyeon and young woo’s friendship!!

Was great at the beginning but a few unnecessary add ons.
This was a great start, I’m very happy with the casting, they both did a great job especially Yechan, he just blew me way with his performance of the cruel but hurt Taehyun. They both had great chemistry as well and it followed the manhwa perfectly until ep 7 :/ i think that episode was unnecessary, it would’ve been just fine with ending it at ep 6 with that absolutely adorable final scene of them hugging and Da Yeol promising to wait for him, but ep 7 kind of ruined the characters for me who read the manhwa first long back. But I truly loved the cast and the addition of the girl character as well. She’s really sweet. ❤️Cet avis était-il utile?

Had an amazing first arc but after that? Just full of bad writing....
I really love the Kitsune/Gumiho folklore a lot and especially if it has a human-kitsune kinda romance in media. So I was really excited for this show and it actually had a great beginning. I was so interested, it was really engaging. The island arc was spectacular and Ji-a ending those misogynistic fishermen was amazing to see. The lead actors had great chemistry too but right after Ji-a's parents return it just turns... shit. Thats one of the main reasons too why it becomes bad like, why are her parents back? I mean that whole dream sequence she has where she wishes she could be with her parents just doesn't have any significance in the story now whatsoever since they're... back? The point of that scene was that she had to stop living in the past and get over her parents already because she had a new person and friends left to live for. But her parents coming back makes that powerful scene look so bad. Also right after that, LY and NJA's relationship is bad too. I was rooting for them and shipping them in the beginning and when they finally become a thing, I just... didnt care? I honestly stopped caring for their romance. Then the worst shit ever, Lee Rang's death... why does he die when he finally found happiness after years of depression and pain? His death was soooo random too he's just walking by, meets the fortune teller and then dies like... what. Ji-a's reaction over his death is weird too and she's not as sad as the other characters because duh she gets her man back and she wasn't even close with Rang which the writers should've worked on too.Ji-a... I felt the most disappointed in how she was written. She turns from a kind, badass, really smart journalist who doesn't take anyone's shit to a crying hopeless mess towards the end. I loved her in the beginning so much but my god she became so annoying towards the end. Yeon is just too ex-machina to me man like he never loses, it doesn't make any sense. Also he's a fox deity, how come we never get to see his true full form with his nine tails and everything? We just saw it once and the special effects in that scene were so ugly. We only really got to see his eyes and nails that too just once. The only things that are good about this show is the beginning, Yu-ri and Shin-Joo's relationship, Lee Rang's whole character arc and the actors. Seriously this is one of those shows were the side characters are so much more interesting and likeable than the main leads.
I wouldn't say I hate this show, I just hate that I started it because I'm so disappointed right now. There are so many things in this show that could've been done better but nah it just bad writing everywhere. So I'm just gonna pretend the rest of the series with the Imugi stuff doesn't exist and only acknowledge the Island Arc to cope. I would definitely not rewatch this mess nor suggest to watch it but if you're still curious you should still watch because the beginning and Lee Rang are seriously the best part of this show.

Actually really good
I’m surprised by how much I actually enjoyed this drama! I’m glad the ML was not a glorified misogynist he’s an actual flawed human! Just like our FL as well (to me tho shes perfect <33) the romance was indeed sweet but I think I was more immersed in the message of the drama, this FL is honestly perfect, she’s strong, smart and brave and seeing men support her was adorable but i do wish they showed women being supportive too! Her relationship with her ex is great as well! That guy grew on me, ML was annoying at first I can’t lie but I was surprised and proud of his development. I also love how short this drama is even tho the last few eps felt dragged, all in all a great watch! Highly recommend!!Cet avis était-il utile?

Perfect
Oh wow… this was actually really good? it’s pretty different from the manhwa but I enjoyed it anyways, the acting is great and their chemistry is just wow… it’s actually pretty steamy even without sex scenes lol! I loved the visuals and 80s like OSTs as well!! I don’t think this needs a season 2 tho! I think it got concluded on its own tbh! If fans do want more the manhwa is still ongoing and it’s absolutely brilliant! All in all a good watch and I’d definitely rewatch! I’m in love with Park Seo-ham <3

Perfect romance
I know by the rating it might not seem like it, but this was truly the perfect romance kdrama to me, this is special for me specifically because whenever I watched romance kdramas, i always ended up not caring for the couple after they got together, but Yoon Hye-jin and Hong Du-sik are different for me. I truly was so invested and enjoyed their romance, the actors’ chemistry is literally off the charts!! Since the first scene itself, i was shipping them right away, and when they’re officially dating, they’re the cutest with each other acting like high schoolers making everyone in Gongjin sick lmao. I also loved how the girl is the one to both confess first and propose, Hye-jin is not afraid to show her love and forward-ness at all and that makes her sooo charming. She made me and Du-sik both swoon. <3Regarding the plot, i have to admit it was too dragged on and boring, some of the side couples were sweet, like the divorced couple but eventually I wasn’t as interested in their lives as much as the main couple haha, the love triangle aspect tho almost ruined this drama for me but I’m glad Hye-jin wasn’t confused or annoying about it and KNEW who she wants, it was refreshing to see! I hate love triangles so I have to bring the rating down because of that sorry! I’m petty!! I also didn’t like it when Du-sik told Hye-jin to “compromise” when she wore revealing clothing while jogging, my guy she shouldn’t compromise! The village elders should get on with the times!
And one thing I really was shocked to see was a Lesbian character! I always got the vibe that Cho Hui was in love with the wife and that’s why she saw his husband as just a brother! I was happy to find out it’s true! I do wish she got her own happy ending but she was truly a great character as well! I loved seeing the friendship between these two women without them being pitted against each other and the countless other amazing wives in the village standing up to their dumb selfish husbands!
All in all, a good watch i will definitely keep rewatching my fav scenes, both the leads are adorable and I’m glad this is the first kdrama couple I truly adore and ship hard! ❤️
