Worth the Watch!
SOTUS S was not as strong of a show as SOTUS was, but it was still a very enjoyable experience overall! It was a pleasure to be back with these characters and seeing them in new situations. I loved seeing Kongpob as a hazer (not to mention he looked very nice in his red jacket :p), and seeing Arthit trying to adjust to office life was really fun.
These new situations did take some time to get used to, though. For the first few episodes or so, Arthit and Kongpob were in two different places and weren't really together much at all until almost halfway through the series. For me, it was frustrating to be watching a show for a specific relationship and for that relationship to not really be present. This did change roughly halfway through, and I felt that the second half of the show was much stronger and more enjoyable than the beginning. And once it hit that point, it was smooth sailing from there.
Besides the separate situations, I did have another complaint for the show. I did not care for Tew and Day at all and did not like how much screen time was given to their relationship, especially in the first half of the season. Especially given the end of the show, where pretty much all of the side characters were randomly paired up— I would have rathered we focused on any of them over Tew and Day.
I did like the subplot with Yong and Nai, though! I felt more invested in them and would have liked a more solid ending for their little story.
Still, even with these negatives, I loved watching this show! While I missed all of the secondary characters from the first season— especially the hazers— I grew to really love Earth, Cherry, Som-O, Danai, etc. (Except John, but does anyone actually like him?)
Overall, this was a good sequel series and is definitely worth watching if you enjoyed SOTUS!
