Another generic fantasy drama that is only good because of the secondary characters
Tale of the Nine-Tailed started with a very good plot and the first episode was incredible, however, over the course of the episodes the story went downhill. I expected a lot more from this story, I thought they were going to innovate, but in the end it ended up being one more generic fantasy drama with terrible special effects and a main couple that despite having chemistry in the kissing scenes, did not convince during the most emotional scenes .The story also had several inconsistencies in the script and the plot of the main couple was often erased by the secondary characters who often steal the show during the episodes, so I connected with the secondary characters much more emotionally than with the main 2 .
For me the characters that stood out the most in this drama were Lee Rang, played by Kim Bum, and for the character Ki Yoo Ri, played by Kim Yong Ji, I found their story much more interesting than the maqin ones and I think that they had more chemistry than the main couple, and they didn't even have a romantic relationship.
Another point that I found very negative in the story was the ending and when I say this I am not referring to the fact that a certain character has sacrificed himself, as I already expected it, but rather because of the many holes and lack of explanation that this ending had .

The best Taiwanese drama of 2020
At first I started watching this drama, because some aspects of the story reminded me of W: Two Worlds and Extraordinary You.I found the first episode a little tedious, but the following episodes stuck me in the story and since then I was looking forward to the next episodes.
I admit that I liked the story better when it happened in the book, because the plot in the real world, for me, was a little tedious
About the characters, I loved the female lead and the way she made fun of the romantic cliché stories. This role was made for Vivian Sung and I loved her in this role.
The first lead irritated me at times and until halfway through the drama I shipped the protagonist with the second lead.
Speaking of the second lead, he was one of the best characters in this drama, I loved his attitudes and I loved the ending that the story gave him.
Now for sure the character that I hated the most in this drama was Chuchu, at first she was very annoying and then when she started to become friends with the female lead I even started to like her, but I hated the way that the story turned her into a villain, I think it would be much better to leave her as a friend of the principal, without creating an unnecessary female rivalry.
In summary, this is a very cute and romantic drama that will surely bring you some good laughs and you will be addicted to the story and hope that the couple will be together soon.
The ost of this drama is also perfect and for sure many songs will stay in your head and you will probably want to put them in your playlist

Lack of development and communication of the characters were the major flaws of this drama
Record of Youth debuted with great potential to be an incredible drama. The cast and the story, at first, captivated me a lot, however throughout the episodes I started to have the feeling that the story was not developing. The focus of the drama was the growth of the main characters, both personally and professionally, however the story revolved around only Hye Joon (Park Bogum), the other main characters of the plot were erased and we viewers, practically not we saw their development.Jung Ha (Park Sodam) when it appeared was poorly developed and all the plots that the story opened for her character to be developed, ended up not gaining much focus and worsened the development of the character. I really wanted to see a little more about the construction of her salon and the solutions to the problems she had with her parents, but unfortunately, almost no screen time was given to her plot, sometimes I had the feeling that her only role in drama was to be the love interest of Hye Joon and Hae Hyo, thus creating a love triangle for the story.
Talking about Hae Hyo (Byeon Woo Seok), he, for me, was always a complex character, since the beginning of the story I wanted to know how he would react when Hye Joon started to be the focus of attention, and the story at that point it surprised me, because it didn’t turn him into the envious character who wants to take down the protagonist, in fact she showed a real character that had reactions that all of us in his place could have, but unfortunately the story didn’t develop much of his character’s story either. end we ended up not seeing his development very well after he found out that his career was practically bought by his mother, i found his end too open and it bothered me that the story didn't show how he was after the time jump.
About Hye Joon's family nucleus: For me this was the nucleus that best developed within this drama. At first I thought his father was extremely toxic, but throughout the episodes I got to understand him a little more and I liked the way he has evolved throughout history. Hye Joon's grandfather was also a great character in this drama, I loved the evolution of his relationship with his son and I admit that I was very moved by their final scene in the drama.
I thought the end of the story was coherent and I preferred to see them become friends a thousand times, their relationship was very beautiful, but from the beginning I thought that they behave more like friends than boyfriends. Their open ending was coherent and it is up to the viewer to think about whether they stayed together or remained friends.
The performances in this drama were very good, but unfortunately the characters and the story prevented the actors from shining even more in their roles. The drama ost is good, but it is forgettable.

The author focused too much in the romance and forgot to develop the initial plot.
This drama was a complete disappointment for me. The first 3 episodes were incredible and the story was being developed very well, however the author started to focus a lot on the love triangle and the romance of this drama and ended up forgetting to develop the initial plot, which besides being original had great potential, but unfortunately in many episodes the main focus of the story was the novel and the problems surrounding it, allocation of being in the development of the startup and the growth of the characters in that branch. The worst thing is that the author, in addition to forgetting the initial focus of the drama, also developed the romance very poorly. I find it ridiculous the fact that she gave so much focus to the letters that Ji Pyeong wrote a Dal Mi, and it was not final to Dal Mi nor did he care about the true author of these letters and the feelings they gave them both. These letters literally helped Dal Mi to overcome a grief and also served as comfort and companionship for Ji Pyeong, that since the beginning was a very lonely person. And the situation of the letters got even worse when now, in this last episode, the author made Ji Pyeong say that he was never the `` Nam Doosan`` of the letters.
Another problem in this drama was the lack of scenes and development for In Jae, this character started the drama with an antagonistic air, but little by little, with the little screen time that she had, I created a certain affection for her and I wanted to see a lot more of this character that for me was more interesting than the protagonist. In Jae was one of the main characters, but she appeared less than the secondary characters in the story.
The passage of time in the story was very problematic, it seems that the author used the resource of jumping in time to advance the story, since the drama was almost over and the story wasn't moving, however, I was left with the impression that many things within the known story are poorly explained, such as the fact that Ji Pyeong stayed with Dal Mi for 3 years and didn’t take any action, it just doesn’t match his personality and I thought it was quite flawed, and also Dal Mi’s relationship with his mother and sister was developed during this time and we viewers couldn't see that.
Summing up:
Negative points of the story: Lack of development of many characters and the startup theme, too much focus on romance and love triangle, Ji Pyeong extremely wronged.
Positive Points: I got to know the actor Kim Seon Ho and I will definitely follow his next works. Another positive point was Ji Pyeong relationship with Dal Mi's grandmother, I cried in many scenes of the two of them and I think it was the most developed and coolest relationship in this drama.
That final scene of the four walking together was very forced.

Falling in Love With You in the Contract Period

A complete waste of time
The beginning of this drama was good, stories that involve contract marriage always become my favorites and although they involve several clichés, most of the time, I have a lot of fun watching, but unfortunately that wasn´t the case with Love in Time. The story had a good start, I think the childhood plot was well used and I thought it was cute that the main lead was in love with the female lead since he was a child, however one of the big problems of this drama, for me, was the female lead. The development of the female lead during this story was practically zero, I already saw this actress in Goodbye My Princess, and even though she has a very small role in this other drama, she managed to have better scenes and stood out much more in this small role than being the main one of this drama, that is, the big problem was not her performance, but the way her character was written.
She was extremely boring and in the final episodes she managed to get even worse, I couldn't even be happy with her success, because the way she was taking actions throughout history, made me angry with her.
About the male lead: In the beginning I liked his personality a lot, however the way he was too possessive, in some situations, irritated me a little, but until almost the end of the story it didn't irritate me much, the problem was us final episodes, where he makes very annoying and possessive decisions regarding female lead.
The characters in this story were also very forgettable, I didn't like the second male lead at all, and the secondary couple was cute, but I wasn't really interested in their story.
Another negative point, which in my view, hurt the story, was the number of episodes. I think 16 episodes were the ideal to tell the story, even because episode 16 was more or less the story was good, but after 16 episodes the script became more and more boring and the situations only served to fill time, as they often didn't add anything to the story.
In the end it was a drama that I had to skip several parts to finish and I certainly wasted my time watching, because it was much better to have watched something else.

A good idea, but not enough time to execute it
This bl surprised me a little, I hadn't read the synopsis and I thought the story would only be about a CEO who is obsessed with his secretary, however the story turned out to be a story about past lives, involving mystery and fantasy, which I liked it, because I love stories that involve these elements, however, despite the story seeming to have a good script, the lack of time hindered the progress of the story. If the episodes had at least 15 minutes more and weren't recapitulating past events all the time, maybe the story would have a better development, because in fact, the most important events and the most surprising revelations only happen in the last 4 episodes, not leaving space for the story to explain certain events and have a less rushed course.
Another problem in this bl was the couple's lack of chemistry at times, the actors' performance is good, especially if you compare it with the performance of certain actors in Thai bls, however I felt a lack of chemistry between the couple, especially in the kissing scenes, sometimes it seemed that the two were being forced to kiss.
The ending was very rushed and despite being a happy ending, I didn't like how things happened, nor how some events and facts were left without explanation.
In conclusion, I think this is a good drama to pass the time, but I think if you want to see a drama with a really good story, you'd better watch other Korean BLscouple, especially in the kissing scenes, sometimes it seemed that the two were being forced to kiss.

Passionate story, perfect chemistry among the principals, 100% must watch
Since the announcement of this drama I was very anxious for it, after all I`m a big fan of Bai Lu and Luo Yunxi, and I`m very happy both for the success of this drama, and for the fact that the chemistry between them was perfect and the story got me captivate during all those 36 episodes. The story manages to balance comedy, drama and romance very well. The love story of the characters Jiang Jun and Yuan Shuai will make you cheer a lot for the couple, and although the long-awaited statement between them takes a while to happen, even the teasing they have with each other at the beginning of the drama shows that they like each other very much. I also love the fact that they are a mature couple who, despite going through everyday problems within the field, both personally and professionally, they always end up talking and in the end both respect each other's decision. The relationship they have built is very mature and healthy.
The secondary couple also went through some obstacles to be together, but I also loved to follow their story. At first I didn't think they would work, but when Li Xiao Chuan realizes that he really loves Xuli he even goes against the low compatibility between them to be with her.
The drama has a love triangle and for me this was one of the few defects in this drama, however it didn't hurt the story, but get ready to spend a little anger with the character Du Lei.
In short, this drama was amazing from start to finish, the ending is extremely satisfying and it will certainly make your heart warm, the production of the drama was very well done, the OST is also perfect and all the songs fit perfectly with the story , the choice of this cast was great and the chemistry between Luo Yunxi and Bai Lu is impeccable, I need to see them as a couple again in another drama.
