I was excited to watch this drama at first based on all the reviews and the high rating, but as I got into it I realized how boring it was and I skipped through most of it. I got to about episode 32 and was thinking to drop it, but didn't because others reviewers said it would pick up around episode 46. I still thought it was boring and kept skipping. 63 episodes was not needed. A lot of the episodes, especially the first 46 episodes could have been concised into 10 episodes. I don't have a problem watching dramas with a lot of episodes, I sat through Princess Wei Young just fine, but when there are so many episodes that aren't moving the story along then I have a problem. What I liked:
-Most of the women (Liu Ying, Su Hei, Great Floral Fairy, Heavenly Empress, Wind Immortal, Su Li) in the drama were able to hold their own. Now they had their faults and could be annoying at times, but they weren't weak. I loved their fight scenes.
-Run Yu- he had the most interesting story line and the show would have been more interesting if it was centered around him.
-The clothes and landscapes- I started watching this because I wanted to watch something pretty (corny, I know).
What I didn't like:
-It was predictable.
-Jin Mi always needed saving. Whether it was by Xu Feng, Run Yu or Pu Chi or anyone for that matter. She rarely was able to defend herself. The other women in the drama needed saving at times too (Mu Ci saving Liu Ying or Xu Feng saving his mother), but they didn't need it as much as Jin Mi. And Jin Mi was such an annoying and boring character. Her not being able to fall in love story line was held out for too long. Also, she was supposed to be a logical character, but used no type of logic during the wedding scene (of course viewers found out why later), but that scene really annoyed me.
-The kissing scenes- they were comical
-Run Yu- while I felt he was an interesting character, he was also a very self serving character. He cared about Jin Mi, but did not care about her happiness, her feelings, or how his choices would affect her. He was obsessed with her and always wanted her around in spite of the fact that that wasn't where she wanted to be. He knew she didn't love him in that way, but none of that mattered to him. I say he cared because he did not want her to get hurt and would do anything to save her, but he didn't love her because he never, not even once, put her interests or desires above his own.
-I still don't get why Xu Feng and Run Yu would start a war over Jin Mi. To bring in innocent people into your love triangle is the most stupidest thing ever.
I don't recommend this drama if you can't let go of all logic and common sense like me; you will be greatly annoyed.

I honestly didn't like this drama. It started out fine but spiralled downhill. I kept watching hoping that it would get better. The problems this drama has is writing and the fact that it lost its direction. There also really wasn't much romance. It doesn't really happen until the later episodes. Also, the intro was pretty long showing us what happened from the previous episode and about the last ten minutes of the episode was a mini story and what would happen in the next episode or outtakes, so there wasn't much show. The best things about the drama to me were the ML and Sasa. I liked the way the ML carried himself and felt he was an overall good guy albeit flawed. I hated that he was blamed for everything and was basically doing all the heavy lifting in many areas, for instance when the FL's mom came around. He was also doing many things for the FL that Zheng Ze got the credit for. Sasa is the more interesting character and the story should have been centered around her. She was a great friend and had a bomb personality. The side characters were also funny, especially the apartment's security guards.
The main problem of this drama is the FL. She is childish, impulsive, annoying, dumb at times, rude at times, constantly runs from her problems, would blame the ML for things he couldn't control, etc. I could go on and on about her. If something happened she would go run and hide. Yes, we all have had times we have done the same, but it eventually got annoying when she wouldn't face things head on. There was a business meeting she was in, I can't remember what was said, but she started giggling and squealing like a 5 year old at one point. I literally could not believe that this was a grown woman. When the ML was trying confess to her she copped an attitude and was pretty rude to him... SHE LITERALLY ANSWERED THE PHONE! I've watched many dramas where I didn't like the FL lead for whatever reason, but this one takes the cake. All in all, if you do not want to be annoyed do not watch.

Not My Cup of Tea
I'm one of the few who is not in love with this drama. I was thinking to drop it around episode 21 or 22, but others on MDL said it picks up around episode 35. Well, the lie detector test determined that that was a lie. It was boring to the bitter end. It is a political drama filled with long, drawn-out dialogues and in some cases, very questionable logic. If you feel that you should drop it, do not doubt yourself because of what others say, listen to your gut and drop it. I am not mad that I watched it, but I should have followed my intuition and just read recaps. What I liked:
-Fei Lu- Yes, the boy who spoke the least and loved eating and fighting was my favorite. He was adorable and extremely loyal.
-The Emperor, Jing Rui, Yu Jin, Lin Chen, Prince Ji, Meng Zhi, and Gao Zhan- These characters added some comic relief to a very serious and boring drama.
What I didn't like:
-Mei Chang Su- Yes, I know everyone loves him, but I didn't care for him. He was very smart, but he had a sanctimonious air to him. I lost all interest in him after what he caused at Jing Rui's birthday party. He wanted his revenge but often didn't take into consideration the feelings of people he was using as stepping stones.
-The keeping his identity from Prince Jing storyline was annoying and drawn out for too long. Prince Jing didn't find out until episode 48 or 49. I also didn't like that when Prince Jing was very close to figuring it out, the ML, the princess, Prince Jing's mother, and General Meng would consistently lie to him and insult his intelligence by gaslighting him. I don't know how he was able to trust any of them after that. I don't care if it was for the greater good, these are not the actions of trustworthy people.
-This drama lacks an emotional connection. I could not connect with many of the characters, especially the ML. They tried to make us feel something between him and the princess, but we never really saw any romance between them. We know they love each other, but I couldn't feel anything for them. Everyone raves about the bromance, but it actually didn't do anything for me. In terms of bromance only, it doesn't compare to Cross Fire, Ouroboros, Handsome Sibling, or Inseparable Bros, in my opinion. The only times this drama elicited feelings from me was when Prince Yu was pleading with his father while he was in the cage after his rebellion (he acted really well in that scene) and Tong Lu's little love story.
My recommendation is if you want to watch it, then watch it; if you want to drop it, then drop it.

This drama is a complete waste of time and is extremely boring. I fast forwarded through this drama, more than I usually do. It is rare for me not to like most of the characters in a drama; they were all stupid or made the most idiotic decisions. I warmed up to the main couple towards the middle, but at the beginning I couldn't stand the female lead and preferred the male lead. Mi Hyeon and Seok Hoon had absolutely nothing to do with their lives. They wasted their time concocting nefarious plans when they could've spent their time working to the top spot they wanted so bad. The female lead didn't even try pretending to be Eun Ha. How could no one see she was someone else because she made it so obvious. She would run or tremble when she saw people from her past. She would go to go to her old neighborhood in clothes and a car that would make her stand out. Always ran off when she heard something about her family, in spite of the consequences it would have on them. She wouldn't listen to Seok Hoon's advice or warnings; I know she was trying to get from under his control, but he's been playing the game longer than she has. She wouldn't stand up to people like Eun Ha would have. She let them walk all over her and let them see her sweat. She, Min Hyeon, and Seok Hoon irritated me immensely. I do not recommend this drama, unless you want to be frustrated for 20+ hours. Cet avis était-il utile?

So I did like the series overall, but didn't care for the main couple. I found their romance to be boring and skipped through almost all their scenes together. Because Pong stole from his mother in beginning I didn't like him throughout the show. I also understood why Namking's father didn't want them together. Pong literally had nothing going for himself and rarely tried to do things legitimately. To him, his brother seemed like a nag, but everything his brother said was right. Pong's mother wasn't that great either because she didn't even try to hold Pong accountable for his actions. Pong didn't truly prove himself until he had to be separated from Namking. And while I understood how Namking felt about the promise he made to her, the reasons for him breaking the promise (him getting Jued's bike back which he, Pong, lost and for his mother's surgery) were legitimate reasons. If she wasn't going to help him and understand why he had to do what he had to do, then she should've stopped complaining because she came across as selfish. My favorite character was Jued. He was kind, funny at times, the most level headed and the most sensible. He always thought things through and his intuition was always right. I hated how his "friends" would treat him and never listen to what he said and they would never say sorry for anything they caused. I felt Pong should've had Jued's back more especially seeing how they became friends. I felt On was annoying and didn't like her Pong obsession which would have been curbed if they (Pong, Jack, and Jued) had told her everything from the beginning. If they had told her, she wouldn't have had this notion that she was in love with Pong. Overall, I did like On and had a soft spot for her. I thought Jack was funny albeit annoying and liked his chasing of Emma. I did like the show, but wouldn't watch it again.

Practically Hated It
I know my rating is in the minority, but I really don't care. I practically hated this drama. I saw a comment saying they don't understand how anyone can rate this below a 7.5, but I don't understand how anyone can rate it above 7.5.This drama is basically about the FL being forced to be around the male lead by everyone around her. The ml would consistently force himself on her or force her to do things. If things didn't go his way, he'd get those around her to manipulate her into doing what he wants. And while some would say why did she allow this to happen; there were many times where she would say no or try to get out of it and friends and family, especially Pu and Paen, would still force/manipulate her into it. No one in this drama cared about Poom's feelings. They would even laugh about him teasing/ bullying her and laugh about the mean things he said to her. Only Panee was woman enough to apologize for not taking Poom's feelings and reputation into consideration.
Because of the ml's behavior in the first 12 episodes, I refuse to rate this above a 2. I also didn't find his antics/deception in the last three episodes funny whatsoever. I may have enjoyed similar shows before, but as I get older, I realize how toxic these relationships are and they are nothing to swoon over. I don't understand why it's considered romantic for someone to fall in love with their abuser.
I have no desire to rewatch this drama whatsoever. I gave both acting and music an average rating because they were just fine to me.

I actually enjoyed watching this drama. While it was interesting to watch there were parts that did drag a bit. The acting was really good, especially Yeo Jin Goo. His ability to express emotion (just by making a face or through body language) was phenomenal and there were times when I really thought Young Goo was a robot and other times where I forgot he was one. He was also very adorable and funny.
I liked most of the cast and enjoyed the funny moments, but I did not like the CEO (he was abusive and very warped mentally), Diana (she added nothing to the show), Ma Wang Joo, and Da Da's unni. The last two were insufferable. They were constantly asking Da Da questions that were none of their concern, they were rude to Young Goo, they would pop up at her house unannounced and just walk in, stick their nose where it didn't belong, try to tell her what to do and how to live her life, etc. For these four characters, I skipped through their scenes because they were irrelevant.
Overall, I do recommend this drama and it is likely that I may watch it again.

Really Enjoyed It
I really liked this drama. It kept my attention throughout. What I liked:
-Han Suk Jin was amazing. He was very believable as Jae In and was my favorite character in the show. I loved when he would put people in their place, when he wouldn't take things lying down, the fact that he would do things his own way, his reasoning for not wanting to marry DaDa at first (he didn't want her to suffer), etc.
-Jeon So Min as Da Hyeon. I like that she would give just as good as she would get. She wouldn't let people see her sweat. I just didn't like that she constantly kept saying I don't know your grandfather to Jae In. Why not research it? There were articles about Jae In on the internet so why not search up his grandfather especially since SH Group was his creation. That was annoying.
-The main couple had great chemistry and it was cute seeing them not realizing they were in love with each other. They had cute interactions, great kissing scenes and I liked when Jae In would tease DaDa.
What I didn't like:
-Jae In's ex- she kept harassing both Jae In and DaDa. No matter how firm they were with her or how much they put her in her place, she still would keep coming around. She comes around and says she loves him after being apart for 3 year. ????????How Sway? And at one point she told DaDa she was being pathetic. What was pathetic was her chasing after a man that didn't want her and made it clear that he didn't want her.
-Jae In's little sister- She was not needed and added nothing to the show.
-The last 2 episodes- Episode 15 dragged a little, thankfully not past 1 episode unlike some other dramas. I know it was to make the audience feel what it was like for them being separated from one another, but it was still a bit draggy. And the last episode was just too fast paced and introduced more topics that I felt one more episode was needed to smooth everything out.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed this drama, recommend it and will definitely rewatch it again.

I didn't mind this drama. I liked the premise and mainly watched it because of Joe Chen. I felt the leads did really well in the role and I liked Chen Xin Yi's family members, the people of Ginger Island, Anson and Cun Xi's grandmother (they were all hilarious). I did not care for Dylan or Anna and skipped through a lot of their scenes. Based on how Dylan's character was written, I couldn't believe he was a priest and I didn't like that he blabbed about things Xin Yi told him in private (something priest aren't supposed to do especially if they were told things during confession). I also felt he was a rude character and would say things about Cun Xi warranted and unwarranted. He would push himself on Xin Yi and encouraged her to run away from situations instead of facing reality. I didn't like Anna at all and never really felt sorry for her. She constantly took advantage of Cun Xi's love for her and she had a tremendous sense of entitlement.
I did skip through this drama a lot though and really didn't miss much. It kept dragging on and on and even though it had a nice ending, I really didn't feel satisfied with it. Not sure if I'll rewatch it.
