This story also introduced Mork and Sun, the main couple of Dark Blue Kiss. It was sure interesting to see how their relationship began.
Once again, I mainly watched PeteKao and MorkSun. But also one of Sandee’s older sisters, Sansuay, and her ex So - because he was played by Earth Pirapat and I’ll watch pretty much anything for Earth Pirapat. So there’s that. Everything else I just clicked through again.
Also, the music was downright horrendous. Seriously, pox on the one who chose it. And the product placements got on my last nerve. Yeesh!

I’m so glad that this drama brought them both so much fame, they deserve it, they really do. Xiao Zhan for his hard work and for the many times he wasn’t treated right by the industry, from his own agency to variety hosts, and Wang Yibo for proving all the naysayers who didn’t trust his acting skills so wrong.
This drama pushed all my buttons mainly with Wei Ying and Lan Zhan’s story. Lovers or “just” soulmates, that never really mattered to me because their love was an almost tangible thing, expressed with tender looks and gentle touches and sweet, profound, everlasting loyalty and trust. And that’s what I found so glorious.
I admit I cried at the end of the final episode. Not because of the actual ending but because the drama was over. It felt like saying goodbye to a loved one. It truly had a profound impact on me.

But Ae & Pete are still so, so good that them’s worth watching this. They’re so good with each other and for each other and once they become a couple, which is pretty early on in the drama, there’s little angst between them because they actually talk about their issues, they don’t let them fester. Also, let’s face it, they are hot and their sex scenes are even hotter and I loved the slight undertones of D/s between them because Pete is way too shy to ask for anything in bed but luckily, Ae loves making Pete feel good. And yes, Ae is very possessive of Pete but Pete revels in it, in being wanted and desired, while Ae revels in taking care of Pete because he’s a born caretaker. Like I said, they’re just good for each other!
This drama also made me a fan of the two lead actors, Perth Tanapon & Saint Suppapong who have insane chemistry on-screen. But it’s also the first drama where I noticed Earth Pirapat who has a small part of the “gay fairy godmother,” basically, giving out advice to his juniors while still trying to go about his own life, thank you very much.

I really liked all the couples and all the relationships in this one, the friendships were so precious, especially that between Qiu Zi Xuan and the volleyball team captain. The whole story didn’t go as I thought it would, I thought that Hsia Yu Hao would be this bad boy with attitude but he turned out to be so soft and sweet and kind and good. And I felt so sorry for him because of the way that Zi Xuan treated him after Yu Hao confessed to liking him. Yu Hao really didn’t deserved that.
The secondary couple turned out really well, too, the step-brothers. In their case, I actually understood their reluctance to even talk about their feelings in the light of their situation, and they ended up so sweet…
Though I didn’t like this series as much as HIStory 3: Trapped, it made me a big fan of Fandy Fan who played Hsia Yu Hao. What a fantastic actor! I look forward to both the movie sequel to this series and to his new drama!

For a big part of this movie I was totally confused because so far, I've only seen Kamen Rider Build in its entirety and just bits and pieces from the rest. But one thing it achieved perfectly? Now I want to see ALL of the Kamen Rider series and learn all of their stories! So, I guess it was a success, heh. This movie also reinforced my love for Sento - and by extension for Inukai Atsuhiro - because Sento is such an amazing character, so incredibly smart and brave and silly and cute and so very excitable. And such a good egg on top of all that. But also so... well, wise, if I dare say so? Because I loved the scene where he and Sougo talked about the possibility of them all being just imaginary and he said, well, so what if we are? It doesn't matter. As long as one person remembers us existing? We did.
Also, the scene where Sento got all manhandled by the baddie? That was very... suggestive. Like VERY suggestive. That guy was all over Sento O.O
Also #2, wow at the cameo of Satoh Takeru! How did they manage to bring a star of his caliber back? Wow. Oh, wow. The whole scene was so cool! Now I really want to finish Den-O!
Overall, a really good movie with some ah-mazing fighting scenes. And a perfectly delicious invitation to watch all the Kamen Riders showcased there! Yuss!

This drama was so good! Certainly, the story might not have been as tightly woven as, for example, Kamen Rider Build's but its characters and their arcs were just... *chef's kiss*I admit that if I haven't watched it for the two Reds - Kairi & Keiichiro - my opinion might've been different because the other four weren't as well drawn and didn't get as much focus but since I did watch it mainly for Lupin Red & Patren #1, I was a very happy gal.
The way the drama delved into Kairi and his issues and his reckless actions that oftentimes bordered on suicidal was amazing. The way two of the main baddies, Gauche and Zamigo, were obsessed with him - Zamigo went as far as calling Lupin Red his "toy" and claiming the right to kill him personally! - was just fascinating, the cherry on top of an already delicious cake.
The way Keiichiro changed over the course of the series was also amazing, how he went from a good but very stiff and strict and rule abiding cop to someone willing to throw it all away for a thief, Kairi, was simply perfect.
And the relationship between these two, Kairi and Keiichiro, was... wow. Just wow. Ep 51, the scene where the Patrens were ordered to kill the Gangler boss even though it would mean the Lupinrangers would die because there was no way to get them out of that extra dimension they were sent to... It seriously made me bawl because while Keiichiro was walking towards the Gangler, he remembered Kairi, everything they went through together, everything that Kairi told him, Keiichiro even felt Kairi's presence there with him...
I loved this drama. I really, truly did.

I love D/s and FemDom in particular and since these stories are very rare outside the rather sleazy p*rn vids out there, I was very excited to see this. The movie portrayed the relationship between Ji Woo and Ji Hoo with humor, sweetness and sincerity and the actors oozed charm. The cinematography in the D/s scenes was great, especially in the bathtub and the mirror scenes, it was aesthetics pure, wow!Still, there were things that didn't click with me.
Doggie play is a big turn-off for me. If it's your thing, then more power to you, but personally, I find one partner acting like an animal very creepy for obvious reasons. Another thing was that they pretty much brushed off the thing with Ji Hoo's ex which promised good angst but it went nowhere in the end. I get it, it was a movie with no space for big explorations outside the main topic but... well.
And then, the climax. I disliked that it was about the office thing. Because in this case, Ji Woo and Ji Hoo were in the wrong. They - together with everyone else there who had done things they shouldn't have at work - deserved to be sacked ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Overall, it was a fun movie that definitely broke the mold a little. South Korea's been very good with their Alpha!FLs and Beta!MLs lately. I love it!

Oh, this one was good! I mean, 90% of the characters in this were rotten apples but the drama was so good! I especially loved the main pairing, Bom & Hyun, they were the most perfectly balanced straight pair I've seen in a while, they were honestly, really, truly equals in everything. Loved it!I think my favorite part was how protective they were of each other. They've known each other for such a long time, they've always been there for each other, it seemed, and then the lock-down came and the zombies and all that suddenly became even more intense. And that was simply lovely, the way they always jumped to the front to protect the other from any threat, the way miss Not Bothered(TM) suddenly became So Bothered(TM) when Hyun got hurt... Mwah! Right up my alley!
One thing I didn't understand, though, was why the tenants kept running through the building like chickens with their heads chopped off. I would've stuck to my apartment as much as possible, locked in tight. I had no problem doing exactly that through the various Covid lock-downs so I would just shrug and stay put, especially in an apartment as secure as theirs was. Eh.

I liked the chemistry between the leads and the supporting cast was also cute. But the plot felt unnecessarily complicated. I didn’t understand why Sangha couldn’t simply sign the contract and get the money he so desperately needed, legally and honestly. I mean, sure, he wanted Jinwon’s heart - but come on! He literally had gangsters on his butt who threatened him with violence. And Jinwon was offering him the money for an actual job done, not as some charity. If he simply told Jinwon’s the truth considering that Jinwon already knew about Sangha’s debts anyway, Sangha himself told him! And then, after the marathon, instead of talking to Jinwon Sangha just ran and went all Romeo-n-Juliet, oh, my life has ended! without even trying to talk to Jinwon? Like… what? Teenage drama queen much?
To sum it up, the drama had its highlights and the shipping part was really sweet but I did like Where Your Eyes Linger better because I could actually understand why its characters behaved the way they did.

A very, very, very short Jdrama - 5 episodes 5 minutes each, available via Netflix International - about a guy going about housework. It's based on a popular anime (if I understand it correctly) and it's actually quite funny. I liked all the episodes well enough - well, all of them but the last one, the one about recycling, that one was rather lame and kinda boring. The rest was at the very least aesthetically pleasing with some really practical advice here and there. But it wasn’t really anything to write home about, to be perfectly honest.Cet avis était-il utile?
