After hits like Train to Busan and The Tunnel, it should come off as no surprise that Korea is perfectly capable of making high budget films. Along with the Gods is one of the latest productions of this kind, even becoming the second highest grossing film in its country of origin.

Visually, Along with the Gods is pretty. The CGI isn't perfect, but it's good enough. Narratively speaking, it has some pacing problems, but also has some interesting ideas. Overall, it's not the best, but it's highly entertaining.
