Miura Haruma avait commencé à suivre des cours pour devenir acteur dès son plus jeune âge. Il fait sa première apparition à l'écran à l'âge de 5 ans dans « Doyo Wide Gekijo ». C'est en 2008 qu'il fait une percée en interprétant le rôle d'un génie informatique dans « Bloody Monday » aux côtés de Sato Takeru (son meilleur ami). Au fil du temps, il joue dans des dramas, des films et même des pièces de théâtre. Il incarnera même la voix de Yama dans Albator, Corsaire de l'Espace.
Malheureusement, le 18 juillet 2020, son manager le retrouvera pendu dans son appartement à Tokyo.
