  • Angel's Last Mission: Love

    1. Angel's Last Mission: Love

    Korean Drama - 2019, 32 episodes

    10

I love Shin Hye Sun and I actually thought there was no way she could top 30b17 in terms of how great overall the show is and unbelieveably I think she may have with this amazing production. I pray that this has a happy ending because that would be the only thing that could knock this show from my top favorite list as it's still an airing show.

  • W - Two Worlds Apart

    3. W - Two Worlds Apart

    Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes

    9.5

It's such a unique, well told & acted story. The pace of the plot is breathtaking and the love story will melt your heart. There wasn't a dull moment. It was over before I knew it. This is where my love of Lee Jong Suk & Han Hyo Joo started. Warning: some graphic violence and some of Lee Jong Suk's outfits might hurt your eyes or confuse your brain :)

  • It's Okay, That's Love

    4. It's Okay, That's Love

    Korean Drama - 2014, 16 episodes

    9.5

This show is visually and auditorially stunning as well as heartwarming. The chemistry between Gong Hyo Jin & Jo In Sung is off the charts. I love her strong character in this show and you learn to have so much more empathy and compassion, if you didn't already, for people struggling with mental illness and the traumas that caused it. The OST is still one of my favorites of all time. I heard one of the songs the other day at the supermarket and it brought back all the feels from this show. Warning:  there is some graphic violence.

  • The Master's Sun

    5. The Master's Sun

    Korean Drama - 2013, 17 episodes

    9.5

I loved the romance and chemistry of SoGong (So Ji Sub & Gong Hyo Jin).  Gong Hyo Jin has great chemistry w/ all her leading men. This show would have been perfect if it wasn't so f'n' scary. Mercifully, the scary moments are for the most part brief and some episodes weren't that scary (8, 11). It's worth braving through the scary parts for the melt-your-heart and LOL moments from So Ji Sub.  I wish the director didn't cut out some of their better kissing scenes (see their BTS or NGs on YT, sometimes that was better than what was left in the show).  Though the ending was sweet, what lead to it was a bit random. The show was so popular that they extended it by one episode and may have lead to that.  You will also have SLS moments b/c Seo In Guk was that swoony in this show.

  • Scent of a Woman

    6. Scent of a Woman

    Korean Drama - 2011, 16 episodes

    9.5

I was afraid that this would be a heartbreaking tragic love story, but instead somehow it managed to be full of hope and emotionally healing instead.  The leads' chemistry is amazing.  Once Lee Dong Wook's character matured, he was so swoon-worthy in this show.   It's going to make you want to take tango classes with your beloved.

  • The Happy Loner

    7. The Happy Loner

    Korean Special - 2017, 2 episodes

    9.5

Just a sweet, sweet, sweet show even though at first the heroine was anything but sweet. However, once you understand why, it will soften your heart toward her.

  • Secret Garden

    8. Secret Garden

    Korean Drama - 2010, 20 episodes

    9.0

A wonderful classic deserving of all the heaps of love and praise from fans.  Hyun Bin at his most glorious and funny. What more can you ask for?

  • King2Hearts

    9. King2Hearts

    Korean Drama - 2012, 20 episodes

    9.0

I had never been a Lee Seung Gi fan  - so I thought - before this show. This definitely made me a fan. If you can go w/ the fictionalized version of Korea, you'll be rewarded with a beautiful love story.  My only complaint was the villain got way too much screen time. Warning - graphic violence.

  • A Gentleman's Dignity

    10. A Gentleman's Dignity

    Korean Drama - 2012, 20 episodes

    9.0

Great bromance & womance as well as romance. A lot of cute and funny moments. I have to admit, I only watched the scenes when the leads, Jang Dong Gun &/or Kim Ha Neul,  were on screen and skipped the other stories. So my rating is purely based on the main leads' storylines.

  • I’m Not a Robot

    11. I’m Not a Robot

I thought I was going to hate this show, but ended up loving it for its quirky and lovable characters.

  • Fight For My Way

    12. Fight For My Way

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

    9.5

One of the funniest shows you'll ever watch. Warning - graphic boxing fights.

  • Sa vie privée

    13. Sa vie privée

    Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes

I think Ryan Gold is by far my favorite male lead character in a romantic comedy or any type of genre.  He's a dreamy, mature, understanding, kind hearted, sweet man to everyone, and a great kisser, protector and adorable fanboy to his lucky GF.

  • You Drive Me Crazy

    14. You Drive Me Crazy

    Korean Special - 2018, 4 episodes

I was randomly scouting Lee Yoo Young b/c she got offered the leading role for the upcoming So Ji Sub Kdrama Terius Behind Me (2018) then was sad to find out that she was the GF of Kim Joo Hyuk at the time of his fatal car accident. She was all over the news and I remembered her face but not her name. So I watched this show at first out of curiosity about her and came to love the show for it's own sweetness and charm.  I admire her strength so much for going on so bravely and finding newfound success.  It's sad that her success is coming after KJH's passing but I can't help but wonder if it's also due to him watching out for her from above. Kim Sun Ho stole the show and will steal your heart. He needs to get more lead roles ASAP!

  • Suspicious Partner

    15. Suspicious Partner

    Korean Drama - 2017, 40 episodes

    9.0

Ji Chang Wook is at his most gorgeous and romantic in this show and that's saying a lot for a man who is always so gorgeous and romantic in practically all his shows. I love that Nam Ji Hyun's characters are usually naive, but never dumb and usually very straightforward like in this show. When her characters know better, they grow and do better.
