Favourite Dramas

Great at beginning, story truly gets amazing around Ep 40; fav historical. They really showed character growth and the maturing of characters. This to me is easy to follow; with a dash of action, politics & fluff-romance.

Do NOT expect some happy romantic drama, it means something much deeper...just give it time and DON’T SKIP!! (or you'll miss it). Collect all the pieces and emotionally connect with the story ;)

Unorthodox KDrama, not a fan of a damsel in distress... but WHATTTTT!!!! Literally no romance... great story.

Practically one of my first dramas so am totally biased...love the music & story. Great at beginning, drags a tad in the middle... sappy ending :)

Okay, hear me out... I love the fresh time/culture it is set in. I love the use of prophecy, the contrast between different characters, the history of the series. Also the FL, my girl Tanya really gets out and fights for herself in this part.

Cos Chu Qiao just takes names and kicks ass... 

This is cheesy as hell... but it has everything I want in a series, I can't stop rewatching...

This will be strange, but I love how awkward the relationship was. They got the cold, aloof male character RIGHT... and the FL was no pushover. I also loved the crime, it kept me guessing and I didn't just figure out the criminal in 5 sec, with no clichés in the storyline (but admittedly amongst the characters)

I love how unorthodox this is. There is literally no series about polyamorous relationships anywhere... and I am ready for it. I love the growth of the characters, and their steadfast-ness with each other.

I love, love how this drama doesn't take itself seriously. It is almost ironic... making fun of makjang storylines, exaggerating the plot until it is hilarious. Also I love the FL, she just keeps going no matter how messy it gets.

This was honestly the cutest relationship ever... 

The ending scenes of this is what I think made it so beautiful. I found the two characters commenting retrospectively a bit strange... but the drama also skill-fully handled deeper themes of family, growing up, friendship etc.

The lack of outright romance is refreshing (maybe implied), hits my want of strong FL. Also, the cases were interesting; I like how they didn't shy away from unapologetically gruesome.
