One of the best drama of 2021. Its worth the hype and recognitions it got. The set and location is just breathtaking, stunning costumes, remarkable OSTs, amazing cast, not too cringe CGI, well choreographed fighting scenes and just strong storyline. 

Genre :  Historical, Romance, Politics

Trope : Slow Burn, Slice of Life, Family Drama

Hands down one of my favorite dramas of 2022! It is a wonderfully written drama filled with romance, filial loyalty, and love balanced with well-executed action sequences, humor, movie-like cinematography, and praise-worthy performance of the cast. I can't get enough of Zhao Lusi and Wu Lei's chemistry. Though there parts where I wished was more elaborated (probably because of some of the cut scenes) but its not too much to affect my overall rating. The development of each character is amazing, especially Cheng Shao Shang and her relationships both romantic and with her family and those around her. (This includes S2)

From the cast, production, OSTs, to Choreography everything was definitely top tier! Another great drama that came out of 2022! Absolutely love the green flag relationship between the main leads and lets be honest, visually? they are perfect! The sets and wardrobe was just perfection! The only reason why its not a full 10 is because there questions towards the end of the story that was left hanging (but that was just me)

I absolutely love more "serious" roles for Zhao Lu Si though I did fell in love with her cute and adorable characters her more serious characters are just as charming. I was a bit worried with Yang Yang's style before the drama since there have been so many good looking actors who did not look their best in Historical Dramas and honestly, his visuals as Hei Feng Xi is one of the best I have seen in Historical Dramas.

Chemistry of the main leads were just soo cute. This was my introduction to Zhao Lu Si so this will always have a special place in my heart. It was cute and not too much angst. I love the chemistry of the main leads as they were both just so adorable. I loved the pacing and actor's performances were amazing and the production was also good. It wasn't the best but it was really good.

Trope :  E-Sports, Friendship,  Different Timelines

I was on an E-sports drama binge but so far this was one of the unique ones cause most of those that I have watched have romance as one of the center points of the story but on this drama, I love that it mainly focused on the relationship between Xiao Feng and Xiao Bei, the dynamics of their teams and the game itself. Romance is became a subgenre.

Trope :  She fell first-He fell harder, First Love, Age Gap

One of the first Xianxia dramas I have ever watched and it will always have a special place in my heart. I love that the story of the main leads are completely different from 10 Miles of Peach Blossom cause that version was just sad.  I think this drama follows more or was more faithful to the actual source material and I heard nothing but great things about it so I just had to watch it, I was honestly reluctant at first cause like I said the Peach Blossom version was just sad, so I'm very happy that I did ended up watching it cause I fell in love with it! This drama also made me love Dilraba so much!

I was binge-ing Dilreba's projects and this was really cute and it also introduced me Deng Lun whom I absolutely fell in love with. It wasn't the most unique concept except for the dream thing. It was just her absolutely obsessing over him and he is this tsundere character who slowly and eventually falls for her. Its a very overused concept but I'm such a sucker for it. The only reason why the rating for this drama is one of the lowest ever is because of the horrible dubbing. I loved the story but the dubbing was not it for me. I was almost most of the time annoyed with the dubbing for Dilraba's character which was a let down cause it would have been better cause there were so many cute moments.

All hail Queen Yang Mi! Definitely one of the most notable XianXia dramas, Bai Qian and Ye Hua's love story that spanned three lifetimes earned a very special place in my heart as this was  also my first xianxia dramas. I lost count to the amount of times I shed tears for this not just for Bai Qian and Ye Hua but also for the other stories of the other characters.  I love the ending but I do wish there was more epilogue.

One of my favorite dramas to be released on 2021! I have read the novel and as a fan of the source material, I' am extremely happy with the outcome of the drama. It was a straight romance drama without the hustle of unrealistic and oftentimes outrageous plotlines. The chemistry between Dilraba and Yang Yang was something I didn't know I needed!
