1. Our Secret Diary
Japanese Movie - 2023
Aww~ this was really cute and nice <3 I've been meaning to watch this move since before it was released since I'm a fan of Takahashi Fumiya. But I had to wait for subs for so long that I forgot about it ^^; But now I've watched it!
I really enjoyed it! I cared about the characters, the message was simple and nice, the story was classic but in all the good ways and I really liked the ending~ I was expecting more angst and drama, but I'm happy that didn't happen, or at least it was minimal.
Yeah, it was really nice and I'll definitely rewatch it someday ^^
Rewatched July 18th. List: Movies I've Rewatched.

2. Do you love me as I love you
Taiwanese Movie - 2020
What drew me to this movie was the theme of tarot in a love story. It was beautiful in different ways. It was quite classic with the drama and everything, but I didn't mind it today. I don't think I will rewatch it, but it was a nice watch :)

3. L'Innocence
Japanese Movie - 2023
Wait... Eh?
There were so many plot twists in this and the ending has left me with questions and guesses, but I was engeged throughout the whole movie. (Spoilers) So first we see the story from the pov of Minato's mother, and we are to believe that Minato is being bullied, and soon after we find out that it's supposidly by his teacher. But then the pov changes to the teacher, turning our previous assuptions on its head by painting Minato as a bully of another boy in his class and the teacher being wrongfully accused of the abuse and harrasment on Minato. Then finally the pov changes to Minato... The complicated relationship he has with his friend Yori; friends in secret but in front of others Minato doesn't want to be seen with Yori as Yori is being bullied by other classmates. Watching their friendship I was like "am I seeing this correctly?" and yes, yes I was. So then the being reborn hypothesis that Minato kept talking about takes on a heavier meaning. And finally... the ending...? Did they die? Or what? It does look like it, but that's so sad...
I might have to rewatch this a few more times in the future to pick up on the details more. It was an amazing movie with fantastic acting no matter the age of the actors. Every shot was beautiful, even the ugly. The music was great. Maybe when I rewatch it I will raise the score, but for the first watch, I'm a bit too confused.

4. We Are the Champion
Taiwanese Movie - 2019
It was really good! I decided to watch it without much thought. Just remembered Fandy Fan when looking through instagram earlier and thought about how good of an actor he is. Browsing his MDL page I saw that I already had it on ptw so I decided to watch it.
It's a classic sports movie; nothing new, but I like it anyway. It's an easy movie to watch with drama that doesn't cut too deep and a peaceful ending. It was actually a rather calming movie, haha.
I would consider rewatching it in the future if I'm in the mood for a sports movie.

5. Hello Ghost!
Taiwanese Movie - 2023
I cry and I cry and I cry... wow

6. Exhuma
Korean Movie - 2024
I've been wanting to watch this movie since before it came out. It's been such a long wait for it to be available online. Now it's May and I finally got to watch it.
I don't usually get scared of horror movies that aren't paranormal, but when it comes to demons and exorcism and stuff... I don't like them. But I had to watch this movie since Dohyuni is in it. To be honest, it wasn't scary. Probably because I didn't think that the Japanese demon looked very frightening. The characters were likeable yet somewhat weak, but that's normal for horror as the focus isn't on the characters neccessarily, so obviously no character development either. But there were some famous actors/actresses in it so the acting was quite good. Dohyuni did well this time as well. Now I only need him as a villain character in the future~
It was good for a horror movie :)

10. Character
Japanese Movie - 2021
Rewatched July 28th – 29th. List: Movies I've Rewatched.
Rewatching Mystery to Iunakare made me feel like watching this movie again. To be honest it's not that special of a movie, but for some reason I like it. The storyline is more on the basic side as well as the villain, the main character as well is not too unique (there are other good shows where a character's mental state spirals down). But I think I just like the acting and how it's filmed. Had you seen this movie in a movie theatre it would definitely have made a bigger impression than just watching it on my computer at home.
But I'm still sticking with my 9/10, haha

11. Tokyo Revengers
Japanese Movie - 2021
I haven't seen the anime or read the manga so I can't compare, but this was a pretty good and well made movie. It could definitely have been better if it was made into a series and had a bit more things/events in it to develop it more (maybe it's in the anime/manga). Great acting with talented actors.

12. Kimi e to Tsudzuku Michi
Japanese Movie - 2024
I decided to watch this because of Greg Hsu and the fact that it's a cross over with Taiwan and Japan (loving that I'm seeing more of these crossovers lately).
The movie was quite calming with slower pacing and pretty visuals. Had hoped for a different ending tho and probably wouldn't have watched this had I known it would end like this.
I'm sursprised that this is listed as a Japanese movie when it mostly took place in Taiwan (or at least they spoke mostly Mandarin). And I was also sursprised to see Michieda Shunsuke suddenly.

13. Brave Citizen
Korean Movie - 2023
Watched this because of Shin Hyesun of course~ ^^ Really well made action scenes in this movie. Of course violence is bad in real life but seeing a good fight scene in fiction can be quite satisfying. The characters were quite simple but that's often the case with action movies. Still, amazing acting from everyone involved. Loved Shin Hyesun as always, and I apprechiate someone who can act crazy like Lee Junyoung.

15. 0,1% World
Chinese Movie - 2022
I wanted to watch this movie because I just rewatched Someday or One Day and missed the characters/actors. Since I watched Greg's Japanese movie it made me rewatch Someday or One Day now I watched Patrick's Chinese movie after.
The movie was alright, nothing too special. The vibe of the movie was quite relaxing in a way. It was interesting that it was part Germany and I loved that he is a pianist in the movie.

16. I'm Underage But I'm Not a Child
Japanese Movie - 2017
This was actually really good! Super cute with fun comedy~ Karin is such an icon honestly haha love her! ^^ Shojo romcom manga style that I like; this is definitely a comfort movie!

17. Officer Black Belt
Korean Movie - 2024
It was alright. There is a storyline but it also kinda feels like there isn't, yet this is another movie where the focus is on the story and not on the characters (right?) 'cuase they don't have a lot of flavour you know. It was quite dark with horrible crimes and the action scenes were really well made. I don't think I will rewatch this.

18. Lovesick Ellie

Low quality guilty pleasure movie.

19. Moral Sense
