Dramas I Would Like to Watch For The First Time Again
These are dramas I enjoyed so much that I wish it were possible to have that first experience of emotions all over again.
-
1. W - Two Worlds Apart
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
My most-watched drama. Oh my god, Lee Jong Suk needs a license to kiss, because his kisses in this drama killed me every time. I barely slept when I was watching this drama, because I couldn't bear to stop watching since every episode had such tantalizing cliffhangers.

2. Tunnel
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
My second most-watched drama, I think. It was my first true investigative crime drama, and I am also a sucker for time travel. I have since watched Signal, which most people said was better, but Tunnel remains my favorite.
-
3. Lost Romance
Taiwanese Drama - 2020, 20 episodes
I enjoyed this drama so much; as soon as I finished I wished I could watch it again for the first time.
-
4. My Love from the Star
Korean Drama - 2013, 21 episodes
My second ever drama, which made me fall in love with Kim Soo Hyun. Unfortunately for me, he entered the military shortly after I became a fan. :'( But at least he's back now!
-
5. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
This was my first ever drama, and was what eliminated all false misconceptions about what a K-drama was like.
-
6. Moon Embracing the Sun
Korean Drama - 2012, 20 episodes
My first sageuk drama. I compare all sageuks I've seen since then to this one, as the golden standard. I've only watched seven in total, but all have fallen short of the standard except for Scarlet Heart Ryeo.
-
7. Jealousy Incarnate
Korean Drama - 2016, 24 episodes
Ah, my first Jo Jung Suk drama. I love this man, I love his acting. God bless him and his wife, and his child on the way. May he have a long and happy marriage, and many children. But back to the drama - the first drama I completed where the first episode made me think I was going tohate it.
-
8. Coffee Prince
Korean Drama - 2007, 17 episodes
-
9. Fight For My Way
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
I identified so hard with these characters. Which is why I would love to see this again for the first time.
-
10. Jugglers
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
There was just something loveable about this drama. The characters were interesting, and I gushed so much over the main couple.
-
11. The Romance of Tiger and Rose
Chinese Drama - 2020, 24 episodes
This drama was cheesy, sweet, and funny. It's only downfall was its way-too-abrupt ending. I hope season 2 gets approved so we can get more of this adorable couple!
-
12. Flower Boy Next Door
Korean Drama - 2013, 16 episodes
The slice-of-life drama that got me invested in the every-day struggles of ordinary people. I have watched this drama three times, but would love to experience those first feelings again.
-
13. A Korean Odyssey
Korean Drama - 2017, 20 episodes
My first Seung Gi drama, which is partially why it's on the list. I had long avoided watching this drama because my sister had told me the ending sucked because it was poorly done, but I'm glad I finally watched it. I loved Son Oh Gong and Mawang's rivalry more than the romance (though I am an Oh Gong/Sun Mi shipper), and was satisfied with the ending, even if the "dragon" looked more like a papier-mâché puppet than a living animal. But it gave me a good laugh, even though the scene was supposed to be dramatic and sad.

14. Are You Human Too?
Korean Drama - 2018, 36 episodes
This drama was the one that made me decide to never again watch a drama while it was still airing. I spent so much time theorizing and agonizing over the next weeks episode that I was unbearable. But I loved this drama and wish I could experience it again for the first time.
-
15. Goblin
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Ah, the drama everyone has watched. No question as to why it's on this list.
-
16. Vampire Prosecutor
Korean Drama - 2011, 12 episodes
The Vampire Prosecutor series is my second-favorite cop series of all time. It's grim, the casesare not always solved neatly and tied with a bow. I tried solving the cases as I watched and half the time I was completely thrown, which doesn't often happen. Another plus is the main character is a vampire who has a sense of humor instead of being stiff and serious all the time, and his best friend is a crass detective who can make him laugh. The only problem with this drama is that it doesn't have a 3rd season. Seriously, OCN, how dare you?
-
17. Special Labor Inspector Jo
Korean Drama - 2019, 32 episodes
This was such a great satirical comedy. It never took itself too seriously, it was free of annoying tropes, and was very wholesome. One of those few dramas where there wasn't anything I disliked.
-
18. Que Sera, Sera
Korean Drama - 2007, 17 episodes
This drama was so intense with its twists and turns. I wish I could experience it again the way Idid when I watched it the first time; the joy, the anger, the frustration, the sadness. This drama was amazing. And the main OST track was amazing, 월광 by W & Whale.
-
19. Tomorrow With You
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
A drama I feel is not talked about enough; a rare drama where dating is an afterthought and marriage happens early on. The man entered into the union with the woman in the hopes of saving his own life from a deadly future that he knows is coming to both of them, but as he lives with the woman who loves him so much, his motivation becomes to save her life.
-
20. Chief Kim
Korean Drama - 2017, 20 episodes
This drama had me giggling uncontrollably every episode. I want every time I watch this to feel as good as the first time.
