Upcoming K-drama "Island" unveils its first trailer!

The upcoming thriller fantasy K-drama "Island Season 1" will officially premiere this December.

As part of the promotion, TVING released its first-ever trailer for the upcoming series. In the trailer released, main leads Kim Nam Gil, Lee Da Hee, and ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo were highlighted. it was also confirmed that the awaited k-drama will premiere in December. 

"Island Season 1" is a fantasy-action drama that will showcase the journey of the main leads who are destined to fight against the evil trying to destroy the world. The series is based on the webtoon of the same name by Yoon In Wan and illustrated by Yang Kyung Il. 

The upcoming k-drama will be directed by Bae Jong and written by Jang Yoon Mi.

"Island Season 1" will exclusively premiere on TVING. The upcoming series will also have a second season.

In the first teaser released, the main characters are Van who is like a human played by Kim Nam Gil, Mi Ho who's a person with great power played by Lee Da Hee, and Kang Chan Hyuk that has God's power played by Cha Eun Woo were revealed.

Kim Nam Gil was seen in a black suit in a mysterious atmosphere. His character Van was seen fighting against evil with his strong gaze. It was also seen that he was chasing and killing the goblin with the Geumgangjeo (weapon).

Lee Da Hee on the other hand was seen pointing a gun at someone and also creating a strong wind. The actress will portray the role of Mi Ho, the daughter of a conglomerate.

Lastly, Cha Eun Woo was seen in a different light in the teaser as he portrays the role of a priest. The idol actor will also fight against evil in the series.
