Upcoming drama "Eve" starring Seo Yea Ji and Lee Sang Yeob confirmed to air in May!

The upcoming tvN drama "Eve" is confirmed to air next month. 

On April 13th, news outlet OSEN shared the news that the upcoming tvN drama "Eve" starring Seo Yea Ji and Lee Sang Yeob will premiere in May after the drama "The Killer's Shopping List" ends. The upcoming drama "Eve" will be part of the Wednesday-Thursday drama lineup of tvN. 

"Eve" is the latest work of director Park Bong Sub ("Dinner Mate" and "Love for a Thousand More")  and writer  Yoon Young Mi ("Birth of a Beauty" and "One Well-Raised Daughter"). The drama will narrate the happenings of a 2 trillion won (approximately $1.7 billion US dollars) divorce suit filed by a conglomerate that shocked the nation. 

Seo Yea Ji will play the role of Lee Ra El, she is the woman at the center of the divorce case. Lee Sang Yeob will play the role of Seo Eun Pyung, the man who will help Lee Ra El. He is also the youngest member of the National Assembly. 

Aside from Seo Yea Ji and Lee Sang Yeob, Park Byung Eun and Yoo Sun will also join the upcoming drama. 

"Eve" will most likely premiere on May 25. The series will have 16 episodes with a 1-hour duration each. 

The upcoming drama "Eve" will be Seo Yea Ji's comeback to the industry after her dating controversy with actor Kim Jung Hyun. She last starred in the hit 2020 drama "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" with Kim Soo Hyun. 

Meanwhile, this will be the first acting project of Lee Sang Yeob this year. He is currently active as a regular member of variety program "Six Sense 3" with  Yoo Jae Suk, Oh Na Ra, Jeon So Min, Jessi, and Lovelyz Lee Mi Joo. He last starred in the drama "On the Verge of Insanity" with Moon So Ri, Jung Jae Young, Kim Ga Eun, Kim Nam Hee, Ahn Nae Sang, and more.
