"The Good Bad Mother" Confirms Premiere Date

The upcoming slice-of-life drama The Good Bad Mother has confirmed its premiere date and cast lineup. The jTBC drama will officially premiere on April 26. 

The Good Bad Mother tells the story of a single mother, Jin Young Soon. Young Soon earns her living by running a pig farm. To not let her son Choi Kang Ho end up with a life like hers, she becomes a strict "bad" mother to him. 

Years later, Kang Ho becomes a prosecutor with a cold-hearted personality. To pursue his career, he moved away from his hometown and mother. But when an unexpected accident turns him from an adult to a child, he returns home to live with his mother. 

The veteran actress Ra Mi Ran will be playing Jin Young Soon, and The Glory actor Lee Do Hyun will be seen taking the complex role of Kang Ho. Moreover, Ahn Eun Jin will also star in the drama as Kang Ho's friend Lee Mi Joo. 

The Alchemy of Souls actor Yoo In Soo will be seen as the notorious but kind-hearted Bang Sam Shik, who is infamous in the neighb-ofneighborhoodhe troubles he makes. Jung Woong In is the prosecutor-turned-assemblyman Oh Tae Soo running for the upcoming elections. And Choi Moo Sun will be the chairman of Woo Byuk Group, who seeks a means to get connected to Oh Tae Soo. Other cast members include Seo Yi Sook, Kim Won Hae, Jang Won Young, Kang Mal Geum, Baek Hyun Jin, Hong Bi Ra, Gi So Yoo, and Park Da On. Moreover, it is also reported that Jo Jin Woong will be seen in a guest role in the drama. 

The Good Bad Mother is directed by Shim Na Yeon, and Bae Se Young is credited for penning the screenplay. The show will be available to stream on Netflix.
