"The Golden Spoon" releases its first still photos!

The upcoming drama "The Golden Spoon" led by BTOB's Yook Sung Jae unveiled its teaser photos ahead of the drama premiere.

On August 12th, MBC released several teaser photos of main lead Yook Sung Jae. 

The released photos hint on how the main character Lee Seung Cheon will suddenly have his life changed all because of a golden spoon. In the first photo, Lee Seung Cheon is an ordinary student who works as a part-timer at a convenience store. The second photo shows him holding a golden spoon among the old items that were sold in the streets. The last still shows Lee Seung Cheon in a different vibe, from an ordinary student to someone dressed in an elegant suit with a serious face.

"The Golden Spoon" will be part of the Friday and Saturday drama timeslot of MBC. The story will be based on a Naver webtoon of the same name. It is the story of a child born into a poor family who accidentally switches lives with the family of his rich best friend. 

The drama will be helmed by director Song Hyun Wook ("The King's Affection" and "Undercover") and penned by Kim Eun Hee and Yoon Eun Kyung ("Prime Minister and I" "My Fair Lady," and "Winter Sonata").

Yook Sung Jae will portray the role of Lee Seung Cheon. Other casts of the drama include DIA's Jung Chae Yeon, Lee Jong Won, former MOMOLAND Yeonwoo, Choi Won Young, Son Yeo Eun, Choi Dae Chul, and Han Chae Ah. 

"The Golden Spoon" will premiere next month. The drama will exclusively air on MBC.

This will be the comeback drama of Yook Sung Jae after two years. This will also be his first acting project after getting discharged from the military service. 

Yook Sung Jae is known for being part of the dramas "Mystic Pop-Up Bar," "Dae Jang Geum Is Watching," "Goblin," "The Village: Achiara's Secret," "Who Are You: School 2015," and more.
