"Taxi Driver Season 2" Breaks Record, "Kokdu: Season of Deity" Gains Viewership

Taxi Driver Season 2 is off to a good start. Kokdu: Season of Deity brings optimistic ratings. 

The much-awaited K-drama Taxi Driver Season 2 premiered with a staggering double-digit rating of 12.1%, higher than its first season's premiere ratings of 8.7% (part 1), and 10.7% (part 2). 

The show's highest viewership rating in season 1 was 16.0%. And the entire drama's average rating was 12.6%. 

Considering how the second season drama received such a huge response on its first episode itself, it seems like the upcoming episodes will also continue to reign over the viewership charts.

The show airs every Friday and Saturday. Tune in for the action drama on Viki, Kocowa, and ViuTv. 

Meanwhile, Kokdu: Season of Deity garnered an average nationwide viewership of 2.7% for its 7th episode on February 17. The numbers improved significantly from its previous episode's rating of 1.9% (also its lowest). The first episode of the fantasy rom-com still remains the most-watched episode with a rating of 4.8%. 

Kokdu: Season of Deity stars Kim Jung Hyun, Im Soo Hyang, Kim Da Som, and Ahn Woo Yeon in the lead roles. The screenplay of the K-drama is penned by Heo Joon Woo and Kang Yi Hun. Baek Soo Chan and Kim Ji Hoon are credited for helming the fantasy rom-com. 

Hopefully, the drama will continue to rise in ratings with its upcoming episodes.
