"Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon" Shows Three Generations of Strong Women Within the Family

A teaser poster was unveiled for Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon announcing its premiere on JTBC this coming October 7th. The drama, penned by Baek Mi Kyung and helmed by Kim Jung Shik and Lee Kyung Sik, promises to captivate viewers with the extraordinary aura of its three leading ladies: Rising star Lee You Mi portrays Kang Nam Soon, a free-spirited girl who shares a distant familial connection with Do Bong Soon. Kim Jung Eun portrays the role of the justice-driven Hwang Geum Joo. Gil Joong Gan, Kang Nam Soon's legendary grandmother, is brought to life by the veteran actress Kim Hae Sook. 

Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon is a comedic crime drama that centers around three women gifted with extraordinary strength who unravel the mysteries of a new drug case plaguing Gangnam. Following the footsteps of the hit K-drama Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, this production has generated immense buzz since its announcement. Writer Baek Mi Kyung, and director Kim Jung Sik, known for Work Later, Drink Now, have collaborated to bring this spin-off to life. Featuring the unbeatable trio - Lee You Mi, Kim Jung Eun, and Kim Hae Sook, along with Ong Seong Wu, Byun Woo Seok, and Lee Seung Joon - has heightened expectations.

The recently unveiled teaser poster draw attention to the remarkable family dynamic within the Kang Nam Soon household. Kang Nam Soon's portrayal is particularly intriguing, she effortlessly lifts the chairs occupied by her mother, Hwang Geum Joo, and grandmother, Gil Joong Gan.
