Song Hye Kyo's upcoming drama "The Glory" confirms its main leads!

The official casting for the upcoming Netflix drama "The Glory" has been revealed.

On July 22nd Netflix officially announced that Song Hye Kyo will be working alongside Lee Do Hyun, Im Ji Yeon, Park Sung Hoon, Yeom Hye Ran, and Jung Sung Il. They will portray the characters that will give life to "The Glory." 

It was also confirmed that the series will be the collaboration work of Kim Eun Sook ("Descendants of the Sun," "Goblin," and "Mr. Sunshine") and director Ahn Gil Ho ("Stranger".) 

"The Glory" will tell the story of a woman who was shattered because of her past as a victim of violence as a child. She decided to take revenge against the people who bullied her and made her miserable. She is the current homeroom teacher of the bully's child. 

This will be the reunion drama of Song Hye Kyo and writer Kim Eun Sook. The two worked together in the hit KBS series "Descendants of the Sun." 

"The Glory" will reportedly premiere in 2023. 

Song Hye Kyo will play the role of Moon Dong Eun, a victim of school violence who decided to plan thorough revenge against both perpetrator and bystander. 

Lee Do Hyun will play the character named JooYeo Jung who appears to be bright but has a mysterious story. He will help Moon Dong Eun in any way with her revenge.

Im Ji Yeon will give life to the character named Park Yeon Jin, the leader of the school violence in the past. She currently lives a perfect life. As her past begins to resurface, she will do anything to protect the precious things she now has.

Yeom Hye Ran will play the role of Kang Hyun Nam. Just like Moon Dong Eun, she is also a victim of violence. She will approach Moon Dong Eun and share a proposal to protect her child.

Park Sung Hoon will play as Jeon Jae Joon, the other perpetrator of school violence alongside Park Yeon Jin. She thinks highly of himself and thinks of his family's wealth as his shield.

Lastly, Jung Sung Il will play the role of Ha Do Young, the husband of Park Yeon Jin and also the CEO of Jaepyeong Construction. As he gets caught up with Moon Dong Eun's plan, this threatens the happiness of his family.
